Welcome to the Coastal Cottage in Milton! This expansive modern 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom ranch-style home with an upstairs loft is an ideal retreat for you and your family to savor. With a spacious 30’ x 22’ driveway, there is ample parking for an RV or boat. Nearby marinas available. Please refer below for pontoon boat rental details. This residence is situated in Milton, Delaware, providing convenient access to the Lewes Georgetown Highway (Route 9). Within minutes, you can have your feet in the sand, indulge in tax-free shopping at the Tanger Outlets, and savor exquisite dining in the historic town of Lewes. A mere 7.5-mile drive will take you to downtown Lewes, Lewes Beach, Cape Henlopen State Park, and just 10 miles further lies Rehoboth Beach.

Embark on a leisurely bike ride to explore the charming downtown area of Lewes or venture into Cape Henlopen State Park via the Georgetown Lewes bike trail conveniently located across the street. This paved trail offers a direct route into town, bypassing any major roads or highways.

After a day of basking in the sun, treat yourself to the finest ice cream at Hopkins Farm Creamery, located just one mile up Route 9. For wine enthusiasts, across the street awaits The Brimming Horn Meadery, an award-winning establishment offering Mead (honey wine), Fruit Wines, and Cider.

Our host, Joshua, was fantastic! He communicated everything necessary in a timely manner and the few times I had a question, he responded within minutes and was warm and welcoming always. The house was lovely and comfortable. It felt very spacious while also feeling cozy. My son definitely enjoyed having his own “apartment” on the second floor. That’s its own space with a bed, bathroom and living area with a TV and a door to close yourself off from the downstairs. He was in heaven. The yard was lush and green and huge. We could have played a football game on it. And there was a very nice patio out back with a grill, a fire pit and a table and chairs.The area is great! We loved the beach, it was beautiful, and the trail near the house. And we found some great paces to eat nearby.All-in-all it was a great trip and we will definitely be returning to Lewes and Joshua’s Coastal Cottage.

This was our annual Girls Fall Getaway and the cottage was in the perfect location. Literally just across the street is a trail where we did our morning runs and walks and a brewery which had several events during our 4 day stay. The cottage was driving distance to other breweries and restaurants. We even completed the annual Dogfish 6k Dash while we were there. Josh was great and was very attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend!

Our cycling group stayed here for the annual AARP ride in Dover. The property had a nice common area, outdoor patio area and ample parking. Close to beaches although we didn't go. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. If you have more than 6 people who drink coffee, there are only 6 mugs. Owner SUPER responsive and helpful. Although we were a group of adults, house perfect for a family and would highly recommend. There is even a Mickey Mouse waffle maker - too cute.

Spacious house

The house was clean and spacious. There were a bunch of bugs waiting to get in the house if you open the door at night, but other than that we had a pleasant stay. The host was very responsive which is a plus. Its is within driving distance to many restaurants. It’s a 20-30 minutes drive to the beach and close to the outlets as well.

Would stay again

Perfect location and spacious. We stayed here with 5 adults and 3 kids (ages 8,6,12) for a baseball tournament at Sports at the Beach. It was the perfect distance for the tournament and to enjoy Rehoboth and Ocean City during our downtime. Josh was extremely responsive once we checked in for questions and information. For me the negatives were there was a ton of little Beatles that would get into the house with opening and closing of the door, that comes with the season, still a nuisance. Also the 10AM check out was a struggle with such a large group. But overall I would highly recommend and would stay here again with further tournaments

Wonderful Property!

Josh’s place was super clean and comfortable! The house is very roomy. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for everything that we had planned in Milton, Lewes and Rehoboth. Josh was the perfect host!

House on the Garm

Adorable clean remodeled home. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and plenty of towels. Love the location so pretty surrounded by farmland and very private. Allows pets too. Would stay again 100 percent.

Great home! Perfect location!

We came to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday with my family and my sister and brother in law. We had trouble with the tvs when we checked in, but the owner Joshua came right over to the property and had to reset all the cable boxes. Joshua was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again in the future. The house was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone.

Cute Cottage Close to Lewes

My husband and friends were going fishing north of Rehoboth Beach. They had planned long hours of fishing so I booked this place to be central to all their fishing spots and serve as a base. This cottage was perfect for our group and I loved the backyard. It was thoughtfully designed and very clean with no pet smells. Too bad we only had 2 days so we did not get to take advantage of the fire pit, bbq grill, and the Meadery across the street. I will definitely book again for our next trip up. The location was about 10 -20 minutes to everything we wanted to do. Very convenient.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The house was very comfortable, clean and had all the essentials to make our stay relaxing. We felt at home immediately! The bike trail is across the street and the beach was a short distance away adding outdoor adventure to the list of things for us to do. A side note to add.. the owner was VERY helpful to us when we left our belongings. He went above and beyond to help us. We are very grateful for his assistance. We highly recommend this place and will be sure to tell our friends and family to be sure to stay here as well!

Great stay

Love the RB area. This was perfect for our needs. Away from the commotion so calm, quiet and clean for the dog and very comfortable for us too. Bigger than we needed, and a little bit of street noise being close to a main route, but it didn’t both us once we turned the fan on.

Wonderful place for families

This house was great for our family vacation. We were able to visit both Rehoboth and Lewes easily. There was plenty of outdoor space for running around and a fire pit for making smores. 😁The house was clean

Highly recommend! The house was in excellent condition, and the homeowner was very attentive and easy to get a hold of. Plenty of room and privacy in the house and only 20 minutes away from the beach.
