See Pelicans, Seagulls, Mullet, Redfish, Bald Eagles, Crabs and Monarch Butterflies without leaving the house! Catch your own slot Redfish/Trout/Tripletail/Flounder dinner from the 245' Fishing Dock in the backyard overlooking Alligator Harbor. Note motor boats may not be moored to the dock as it is permitted for Kayaks and Canoes only. Free Kayaking with 2 kayaks. Bald Point State Park and white sandy public beaches are three miles away. A top-notch golf course (St. James Bay) is fifteen minute drive away.

Redfish Cottage had everything we needed for a lovely beach & fishing trip! Well stocked, comfortable beds, beautiful dock view of the bay, and much more. Joe was communicative, friendly, and ready to help if we needed it. We had a wonderful visit to Alligator Point!

We had a wonderful family stay in this little slice of paradise. Our favorite part was easily the dock. It was the site of gorgeous sunsets, amazing stars, fun casting practice, crabbing, etc. The cottage itself had everything we needed, and Joe was lightning-fast in his response to the few questions we had. Thank you for a great time!

Private and quiet area as opposed to the fast-paced life. Fishing is good, but you need to monitor the tides as the area by dock can turn in to a mud flat during lowest tides. Lots of birds in marsh like egrets, terns and pelicans. Did see a dolphin out by oyster bars.

If you are looking for a nice quite getaway this is the spot. The private dock was very nice to fish from and the neighbors were very friendly. Joe was awesome, he checked in with us and made sure we got in ok and if we needed anything. Lots of state parks around to hike or fish or just go veiw. Lots of fishing charters around the area if your looking to go charter fishing. Very peaceful place and just all around awesome!!!

Redfish Cottage: Always Restorative

We’ve been coming to Redfish Cottage and the Forgotten coast for 15 years. Every stay is perfect and we are always sorry to leave.

Relaxation

This was a beautiful cottage with everyting that you may need while on vacation. Enjoy gorgeous views of the bay from inside and outside on either of the two porches and dock. It was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed just sitting and relaxing on the porches and dock, fishing and kayaking. The only downside was having to leave.

We enjoyed our stay at Redfish Cottage. Our host was easy to communicate with. The house was so cute and just felt like home and was very clean. I loved the fact there were cleaning supplies under both the bathroom and kitchen sink. I like to tidy up during a stay anywhere. Everything we needed to cook at the house was right there on hand. The neighbors were nice and waved any time we saw them. We hope to stay at Redfish Cottage again in the future.

Lovely Stay

The house was exactly as advertised and a great deal for such an amazing view and stay. We spent the majority of our time out on the pier but when you come inside to relax and refuel it was great. The property owner was always a text away and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
