Embark on the ultimate Muskoka family vacation at our enchanting lakefront cottage! Unwind by the sandy beach where little ones will adore the shallow lake entry. Enjoy Muskoka's picturesque beauty or enjoy a day of aquatic adventure - swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or paddleboarding!

Embrace the stunning fall foliage, or embark on a magical winter escapade across a snow-covered frozen lake. Enjoy our cozy fire pit, rejuvenating sauna, and soothing hot tub whatever the season.

Welcome to our spacious, revamped cottage, designed to comfortably host large multigenerational families. Embrace the warmth of cedar & pine interiors, a wood burning stove, modern amenities (AC, wifi, washer/dryer), and a separate bunk house (sleeps 3, seasonal). Unwind in the sauna or hot tub, then gather by the lakeside stone fire pit. Seating area by the water, spacious dock to relax on, and a sandy beach entrance into the lake that offers great swimming (even for the little ones).

Boasting 5 comfortable bedrooms, including 2 with en-suite bathrooms and one featuring dual bunk beds, plus extra bunk house lodging, this retreat ensures ample space for everyone. The main cottage has 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 2 bunk beds (singles). In spring and summer, the separate bunk house sleeps 3.

Relax on multiple covered decks: a ramp-accessible entryway deck, a lakeside BBQ and dining area, or the serene screened-in deck by the lower-level rooms and hot tub.

3 full bathrooms, 1 powder room, full kitchen, living room, dining area, patios / decks, and a laundry area.

Up to 5 vehicles can be parked on-site, ensuring a seamless arrival.

Enjoy the serenity of the entire cottage and bunk house exclusively yours.

Please note: From October to May, the bunkie is unavailable, limiting the maximum capacity to 12 cherished guests.

Rest assured knowing we are often nearby at our family cottage on the same lake, ready to provide assistance if needed. For prompt support, please feel free to reach out via text at any time.

We rented this cottage over the Christmas holidays and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time together as a family. It was cozy, welcoming, and ideal for making special holiday memories. The sauna and hot tub were amazing, especially in the winter, and really set this place apart. A wonderful winter escape — highly recommend!

Beautiful and serene place — everything here is truly top-notch! Perfect spot to spend quality time with family and friends.What I loved the most was the thoughtful safety mesh around the hot tub area. It gave me so much peace of mind as a pet parent, knowing my fur baby could enjoy the outdoors safely without any risk of running off or getting lost. This cottage is perfectly set up for a big group with little kids. The water is shallow at the dock making it perfect for playing and swimming. You can easily see the yard and dock while cooking meals in the kitchen. The kids had an unforgettable time catching and releasing little sunfish from the dock. So many they lost count. The amenities for the adults are great as well and we all enjoyed the sauna, paddle board, canoe and comfortable beds. The fire pit and comfortable Muskoka chairs were the cherry on top of each incredible day spent here. Loon lake was such a beautiful and magical place to spend our vacation.

Fantastic Cottage Experience for Our Group of 13!

Our group of 13 guys from the city had an absolutely amazing weekend at this cottage, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The property was gorgeous, with a stunning main house that was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a large group.We especially loved the sauna, fire pit, dock, and hot tub—each one added something special to our stay and made our time outdoors even more enjoyable. The lake and surrounding nature were breathtaking, and we took full advantage of the peaceful setting.A special shout-out to the owners for their responsiveness. When the power went out due to rain, they had someone come out almost immediately to get the generator running, which was much appreciated and ensured our comfort wasn’t interrupted.Overall, this was a top-notch experience, and we’ll definitely be considering a return trip in the future. Thanks for everything!

Family vacay

The property was well-equipped with all that was needed for our stay. The kids loved the fishing, water toys and beach to build sand castles. Shannon was a great host and always available to answer any questions. We spent 10 great days at the property!

Fabulous week at the cottage!

Our 4 generation family had a wonderful time at the cottage. Thanks to Sivan and Shannon for being such great hosts and so responsive to our enquiries. The kids loved the cottage toys, sand and shallow beach. The water mat, stand up board, kayak and paddle boat were great in the water and the adults enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The firepit was fun at night, too. The cottage was clean, well stocked with lots of space and storage with nice fluffy towels. It was an unforgettable week!

Loon Lake cottage review

My entire family gives a thumbs up for this property. Everyone voted that we'd return for another family weekend in the future. Comfortable beds, ample washrooms, extras i.e. hot tub, canoe, paddle board, lily pad, fire pit, all appreciated and enjoyed. There really is a loon in the Lake!

Long weekend

Loon lake is truly a piece of paradise. Driving in, you see beautiful pines and birch trees on rocks from the Canadian shied. The back yard was a gathering place for campfires, hot tub soaks, saunas and dips in the lake. The home is spotless, with very comfortable beds. Shannon was available by email and respond to any questions we had. It was a much needed het away full Of relaxation and time spent with loved ones.

Great Family Vacation!

Loon Lake House is the perfect space for a multi-generational summer getaway! We loved the walk-in beach and many lakefront activities. The main living space was great for meals and evening board games, puzzles and cards. This space was clean and well-stocked. Highly recommend. Thank you for a memorable vacation.

Rainy weekend at the cottage

We had the best time at Shannon’s place. Everything was perfect. We have gloomy weather but it did not matter as there was so much to do and it was just so nice to go for walks, sit on the dock in the little snippets of no rain. We had tons of fun playing games inside and it was the perfect getaway. The place was perfectly clean and perfectly stocked. Everything you would want at a Vrbo experience and better than you could have hoped for! Thanks Shannon for the hospitality and we cannot wait to be back!

Fabulous Family Day weekend!

We loved this property so much. The cottage was well prepared for our stay and very clean. Check in process was simple and to the instructions from the host. The cottage is gorgeous with plenty of room for everyone. The large dining table made for some memorable meals, card games and laughs. The hot tub and sauna added such a luxurious feel and enjoyment to our winter escape! Looking forward to staying here again. Thank you Shannon!

The best cabin rental :)

We had a great time at this property. The hot tub and sauna was highlight of the trip. Shannon is an accommodative host. It’s a big enough chalet and good number of bathrooms to accommodate 13 of us. The view from dinning table is beautiful. We would definitely book again for summer to enjoy the lake!

Ultimate Cottage experience

The cottage has every single things we need to cook food, sleeping, water activities, and more... The owner has all good quality stuff to use. All of us amazed with complete A to Z facility with truly cottage experience. This is the first cottage we have seen with more than expected facility and features. It is very peaceful environment. Very quite neighbourhood. 100% nature feel and experience. It is amazing. This is my real experience and so as my friends as well. Owner is very quick in communication.
