A stay in Paradise! Beautifully appointed, newly built home on your own secluded Upper Captiva island. 3 bedroom 2.5 bath which sleeps 9. Private pool, tiki bar, 2 grills, 2 screen porches, crows nest, and just seconds to the beach with your own golf cart for island transport. The perfect tropical get-away-from-it-all at Beachy Keen house!

Our vacation home is privately owned by Shanai Hill and managed by Jennifer Parker. Our manager will pick you up and transport your luggage to and from the ferry.

***The elevator is only available to our guests who have a physical need for its use. Approval in advance is needed.

Wonderful Vacation Home

This is a beautiful home situated in a great location on secluded North Captiva with a spectacular view. We enjoyed the private pool area, 2 grills, well-stocked kitchen, screened porches and plenty of beach chairs and toys. The owner and property manager were responsive and easy to work with.

This is a place we will remember for a long time

This is the top ranked place of all the 4 places we have rented on N Captiva. The views are beautiful, the home is beautiful, The porches are so relaxing, the pool area was so nice. The elevator was the icing on the cake because it made it possible to bring my mother who is in her 80s. We loved every minute of relaxation in this home, and it is just a short walk to the beach entrance.

This property was in the perfect location located right near the nicest beach.LOVED the heated pool every day after the beach or if weather was iffy... The views from the screened in porch and the crows nest were favorites of ours each morning and night ...We ate and played games on both the big porch table and dining table...Great stay at Beachy Keen!

We booked the house for a week to do a family getaway. Big, clean home that is well-furnished and supplied. Half a block to the beach. Great pool. Island is still recovering from the hurricane, but we were there for the sun so it didn't bother us.

Awesome Home

Wow what an amazing property! The island is still quite beat up, and not much is open but in choosing to goto North Captiva we were looking to chill out and this house was an awesome homebase for relaxation. The pool and bar area were great for the entire family, and the house included everything we needed. Our family loves North Captiva and we look forward to visiting again, hopefully this house will be available for our next trip.

Wonderful location near the ocean

Great sunsets visible from the very comfortable deck dining table, crows nest for even better views. Short walk to great and deserted beach. The house was wonderful and appeared unscathed from Hurricane Ian. The pool was lovely! North Captiva has lots of work ongoing on the island to remedy the damage done from Hurricane Ian. No groceries available on island, minimal eating out options - come prepared, it will be a few months before things are back to normal.

This property is beautiful, like many others have said the pictures undersell how beautiful this house and the views are. The management is top notch very responsive and friendly. This would be a five star review, however I have an issue with the camera on the patio/bar area. There are better places to put a camera to monitor the entry points for security without invading the privacy of your guests.

Wonderful stay at Beachy Keen!

We had a wonderful time staying at Beachy Keen. We took this trip with family (two adult couples). The house is just as advertised, views are even better than the photos! All of the communication from the owner and property manager was professional and friendly. Jenny, the property manager was right on time to pick us up from the dock, Gage who helped us with our luggage and groceries was also great getting us to and from the dock both on arrival and departure days. The house itself and the location are perfect. All of the amenities worked such as the pool, the golf cart and the appliances inside the house. The house was well stocked for cooking and cleaning. Plenty of towels!! We loved the big second story lanai, the pool, the rooftop deck and slept comfortably each night. It is truly a stunning house and we took so many pictures! We had a wonderful time and would recommend this property to anyone staying on North Captiva. Thank you to the Hill family for sharing your property with us!

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful home, close to the beach with a nice view and lovely outdoor space. The home had reliable internet and was perfectly outfitted for guests. This was our first visit post hurricane and the house was in pristine condition. As of 1-29-23 the island itself is a work in progress. The Marina is up and running. One of the restaurants is open normally with a scaled down menu and one with reduced hours. There is still A-LOT of debris on the island but the beach and preserve are very nice. If you know and love NC and want to bring business to the island and can look past the work being done- itā€™s fabulous. If you are hoping for a quiet immaculate island retreat, Iā€™d recommend waiting a few months. I had projects to finish and wanted a pleasant place to work and relax and this house was perfect for that!

Beachy Keen, Indeed!

My wife and I, daughter, son-in-law and two grandkids stayed at this wonderful property for ten days in January, 2025. It was everything we had hoped it would be and then some and worked very well for our group. The open floor plan in the living area with amazing views was particularly nice and featuring a huge screen television, well appointed kitchen and very large screened in patio. The location is also ideal being only a few steps away from the beach. The pool area with the bar and big screen television were also thoroughly enjoyed by our entire group on a daily basis. And I would be remiss not to mention property manager, Jennifer, and her assistant, Gage, both of whom could not have been more attentive or helpful. The property owner, Shanai was also very accessible and helpful during the booking process. Like most folks, we were a bit concerned with the condition of the property and the island in general due to the number of recent hurricanes; and while there is ample evidence of the hurricane aftermath, we did not find it a distraction in any way to the natural beauty or vibe of the island. In fact, we actually enjoyed driving around in our golf cart to survey the hard work being done to clean up the island. So if you're looking of a different sort of vacation, one that's short on shopping malls, fancy restaurants and cars, but long on amazing beauty with some of the most welcoming locals you'll find anywhere, Beachy Keen on North Captiva is your place.

Beyond Expectations!

My family and I always rent via VRBO when we go away. This was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at! The host was extremely accommodating and the house was even nicer than the pictures. Everything was so clean. We had many family dinners on the upper screened in deck which has two separate Gulf of Mexico views. It was so relaxing eating dinner and watching the sunset. It made my older daughters trip watching the sunrise with my husband, a perfect sunrise from the roof top deck. Both the inside and outside living spaces where beyond any expectations we had. It was our best family vacation yet!

Island Time

This property was very Family-friendly, traveling to an island by boat brought some challenges for us when it came to bringing certain items. But this house has everything you could ever need during your stay on North Cap, from beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys to an amazing pool area at the house. Top class host and accommodations

This was such an incredible trip for our young family. We were blown away by how fun the island was in general. Beachy Keen has to be one of the nicest homes on the island. The house is well furnished/new construction, accommodating , CLEAN and even prettier in person. The owner was so wonderful and helpful. She answered all our questions on what the house had already and how to plan for grocery/island logistics . Upon arrival on the island the property management company made things so easy and fun. We were able to feel at home in paradise! The house was stocked well as far as cooking, cleaning and laundry supplies go which is so helpful with young children. The linens were fresh, blankets cozy, and the over all aesthetic of the house had us not wanting to leave. Will definitely be back!
