Welcome to your cozy island escape! This bright, cheerful studio is tucked away in a quiet, residential neighborhood just five minutes from Cruz Bay, where you’ll find all the best dining, shopping, and ferry connections. It’s the perfect home base for exploring the island—or simply unwinding.

The space features a comfy queen bed, high-speed internet, fully automated generator and a peaceful atmosphere ideal for couples or solo travelers. Step outside to a little sitting area where you can sip your morning coffee or evening wine with a peek of the Caribbean Sea.

We’re about 10 minutes from Hawksnest Beach—one of the most stunning stretches of sand in the Virgin Islands National Park—and just next door to The Hills, one of St. John’s most exclusive villa communities. You’ll love the convenience of being close to everything, while still feeling tucked away and serene.

**A vehicle is strongly recommended for your vacation on St. John, we are now partnering with Owen’s Jeep Rental on St. John. He has a brand new 2-door Jeep which is perfect for the tight parking in town and twisty roads on the island! His entire fleet is AWD. Owen's Jeep rental is locally and family owned and located steps from the ferry in Cruz Bay. Under Notes please put DREAM LIFE PROPERTIES -- We include a $10 gift card for rentals with Owen's, find them online, they will be able to assist you!

Great little “petite” spot. Very close to cruz bay by car. New toilet, sink and tiling in the shower were noticeable improvements. Air conditioning was a plus. Very clean and tidy. Safe neighborhood and parking steps from front door. Host was very pleasant and accommodating. Enough room for a couple to live comfortably for a few nights to week or two. Cost was very reasonable compared to other places. Highly recommend. 5 star all around.

Great place to stay near US Virgin Islands National Park. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. Kitchen was perfect for cooking simple meals and wifi worked great. Highly recommend.

Lovely view, good host interaction. The bed was not great, squeaky and the sheets felt a bit old. I didn't have a car and thought the walk from town was fine, but be prepared for a steep climb.

Host was wonderful to work with. The bed was loud with any movement or rolling over so didn't make for a comfortable nights sleep. Otherwise, the studio had all other amenities needed for a brief stay.

Great budget stay!

The property was clean and was all we needed for a fun week adventuring around the island. Super easy check in and out. Very quiet and no noise heard from neighbors despite sharing the building with other rental units. Great stay overall for a couple on a budget!

Hi, I’m Hannah, owner of Dream Life Properties! Originally from the island of Kauai, I’ve been lucky to call beautiful St. John home for the past 20 years. With a lifelong background in hospitality—including 13 years managing and selling timeshares at the Westin St. John—I know what it takes to help people feel welcome, relaxed, and at home in paradise.

I LOVE everything about island life: lazy beach days, early hikes in the hills, and sharing great meals at our incredible local restaurants. Whether you're here to explore the trails, swim in our turquoise waters, or simply unwind in the sunshine, I’m happy to share local tips to help make your stay unforgettable.

Whether you're here for your very first trip to St. John or returning for a soulful island reset, we’ve designed the space to feel welcoming, easy, and grounded.

We specialize in shorter stays, including 1 night, a rare commodity on the island, last-minute getaways, and supporting solo adventurers—especially those who may be new to the island. As a woman who's traveled solo often myself, I understand how important it is to feel safe and supported. We aim to create an inclusive space for everyone, no matter where you’re from, how you travel, or who you love.

The neighborhood itself is residential and peaceful, just next door to The Hills—one of the most beautiful villa communities on island. From here, it’s an easy drive to the National Park beaches, trails, and Cruz Bay nightlife, but when you return home, it feels like a gentle exhale.

Everything has been curated with intention—from the natural light to the small outdoor sitting area with a peek of the sea.

We know that not every traveler is looking for a giant villa. Sometimes, you just need the perfect little place to land—somewhere safe, quiet, and welcoming. We’re especially proud to host solo adventurers, first-time visitors to St. John, and anyone looking for a peaceful place to rest between hikes, beach days, and boat rides. We’re also inclusive in every way—no matter who you are or where you’re from, you are welcome here.

And while you have privacy and calm, we’re always close by if you need anything. Having lived on island for almost two decades, I love helping guests discover local beaches, hikes, and places to eat that they may not find in a guidebook.
