Affordability meets luxury in the new, in-town, king bed, Amore Loft Studio just steps to the restaurants, bars, dive shops and shopping of Cruz Bay located on the upper level of the Amore Center. Perfect for a couple or single needing a simple, elegant, affordable room or as an addition for a 2nd couple or teens when renting the larger, Amore Loft Apartment right next door or the Amore Loft Suite.

Stroll to steps to the left for breakfast at Tamarind Court or breakfast or lunch at Baked in the Sun; grocery shop on the corner at Dolphin Market, enjoy fine dining at La Tapa or happy hour at Woody's, all a stone's throw away. Taxi to the beach or ask us about rental vehicles which we also have available on site. Or hike one mile on a National Park trail to the world class Honeymoon & Salomon Beaches otherwise accessible only by boat. Frank Bay with wonderful snorkeling is a 10 minute walk away.

Artistically decorated with ceramic sconces made in our Studio below, Italian plastered walls & colorfully decorated with artwork from travels around the world, this is the perfect spot for a quick weekend get-away or an affordable extended winter retreat! All the luxury of one of our finest villas in an economical, yet stylish, in-town location.

You will find all the basic necessities needed to make your vacation complete including air conditioning thru out, ceiling fans and a full size refrigerator. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for your day at the beach are also provided.

The host was very welcoming. It was a great location and a very comfortable room. The shower and sink clogged a little, and at times it felt like the host checked on us a lot and even requested to come into our room. But overall, I would recommend.

Nice, centralized location. Walk to the shops and restaurants in just minutes without any concern for safety. Really nice hosts who picked me up from the ferry, even checked on me when the island's power went out (single gal traveler). I would definitely stay again!

Not only is this one of the most eclectic residences on St. John, but the host of this property is an absolute wonder. Our time was greatly elevated by our stay here. Donald is a host like no other. He made an incredible effort to connect with us all the while showing us around. We couldn't imagine our trip without him. The entire property is inspired by his personal brand of glasswork. It's beautifully unique.The car rental tie-in makes this place a one-stop-shop for everything you need when arriving on St. John. Do yourself the favor and stay with Donald. Talk to him about Italy. Go to Provisions. And enjoy the island! We certainly did.

Cruz Bay Getaway

Our stay at the Amore loft was fantastic. Donald was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to relax. I would definitely return to the Amore center. St John Provisions is just around the corner for a great coffee and snack before hitting the beach. Thank you Donald

Carnival week in July

So we were in Tortola 5 days prior then stayed here 4 during Carnival. Donald is an environmentalist, artist, & a true lover of the island of St John, but aren’t we all? The world would prob be a better place if we could all be more like Donald. His ceramic artwork can be seen around light fixtures in these units & around Mongoose Junc. Amore Loft is a nice place to stay in & others we met usually know Donald & can tell u the same. It’s right up the hill from Cruz Bay so w/in walking to everything going on in town. Carnival week nights are much diff than rest of the yr so it was slam packed around town by locals at night. We’ve done the Jeep rental b4, but isn’t necessary when staying here b/c the safari taxi dudes will take u to the main beaches. Sometimes u can catch them at the roundabout. Room has coolers, chairs, other beach items if need be. Donald had our frig stocked w/ plenty of water prior our arrival. Bed is actually a king & the tile, decor, & shower were all nice. Doesn’t have a stove but idk that we would’ve even used it b/c we were out a lot. Eat next door up the hill at Tamarind Inn Court, & also eat some of the local grilled jerk chic & sides by locals in town. It’s good. Would def stay here again. Went to Cinnamon, Hawksnest, & Maho bays on this trip & enjoyed the parade.

Perfect Stay!

Our stay at the Amore Loft Studio was absolutely wonderful! All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Eric and Blake who got us checked in and answered all our questions; we briefly met Donald and Deborah and they were the most gracious hosts. The location is perfect, just steps from the center of Cruz Bay and easy access to all the restaurants, shopping, and taxis you could need. Even though the studio is right in town, we didn't find road noise to be an issue at any point during our five night stay. The studio itself is impeccably decorated and private; it truly felt like an escape! Once you stay here, you will start to see the works from the attached pottery studio all around town! The studio had many convenient amenities including beach chairs/towels, coolers, a full size fridge, and filtered water. We greatly appreciated their focus on the environment and sustainability, and Blake gave us tips to limit our footprint during our stay. We decided to rent a car from Amore for one day and Eric made the entire process super convenient, even on short notice. Overall, we highly recommend Amore Loft Studio and would absolutely return on our next visit to St. John! Thank you so much to everyone at Amore for making our stay perfect!

Amazing property and location!

We had an amazing stay for 6nights! The apartment is within walking distance from the ferry dock when you arrive and it’s beautiful! You can walk to everything in Cruz Bay and easily get a taxi if needed. This apartment was clean, safe, and had everything we needed! We had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and even beach towels and chairs. Donald and Blake were helpful and gave us amazing recommendations! We highly recommend staying here! You won’t be disappointed!

Best stay in St John to date!!!!

We have been traveling to St Thomas/St John for a while now. Mr Donald is by far the most gracious host we have EVER encountered. He picked us up from the ferry, and also made sure that we were driven back to the ferry when it was time for us to return to reality (home). The location of the property is phenomenal. It is within walking distance to everything in Cruz Bay. The studio apartment was beautifully decorated. It was professionally clean. It was comfortable and cozy, and has such an inviting feel. The Amore Loft Studio is perfect for a single or a couple. My husband and I enjoyed everything about this place. We rented a car, only for a few days, in order to explore Coral Bay and the west side of the island. Mr Donald made that transaction effortless as well as very affordable. Amore Loft is literally one stop shopping. We would HIGHLY recommend to anyone that is looking to stay on St John. We will DEFINITELY be returning soon! Thank you so much Mr Donald for being fantastic and such a wonderful person!

First time to St. John and will be back!

St. John is beautiful, the Amore Loft Studio is perfect, and we had one of our most relaxing trips ever! Donald, Deborah, and their team we in personal contact in the weeks leading up to our arrival making check in a breeze. They provided lots of info, from the room amenities, to their dedication to renewables and recycling, and helping with local restaurants and sights; everything we needed to know - to help them - make our entire stay seamless. During our stay, everyone was super attentive and we felt taken care of without feeling intruded upon. Place was unique - filled with pieces crafted (and sold) in the onsite studio and selected artists, well-appointed with every modern convenience, and exceptionally clean. Safe location, across the street from stocked market, coffee, breakfast, and a quick walk into to Cruz Bay, and easy in and out with rental vehicle (which they also offer)! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Fantastic

This was an amazing rental property. Plenty of privacy. The entire unit was very nicely decorated. Right in downtown Cruz Bay with easy access to all the local bars/restaurants downtown. We took advantage of their car rentals which was very convenient for getting around the island. Donald was amazing. It is obvious that he is extremely passionate about the island and has a wonderful rental unit. He picked us up from the ferry dock and was able to give us plenty of great information about things to do on the island. We were even able to meet multiple other guests who have been staying with him for years. Overall a great experience and would definitely return for another visit.

Fabulous stay at Amore Loft Studio

I have been to St. John numerous times, but this was my first time staying at Amore Loft Studio. The whole experience staying here was wonderful! Donald is a kind and gracious host with an amazing attention to detail, that did not go unnoticed and was very much appreciated. The studio apartment was spotless and we had a very comfortable sleep at night. Not to mention, the location is perfect for walking to everything in town if you do not want to rent a car. It certainly was a plus being able to rent a car through Donald because we love to travel the whole island during our stay and the car rental experience was seamless. He also has a wonderful staff. We will be back! : )

Great Place to Stay

We spent six days/five nights at Amore Loft Studio and enjoyed it very much. The location was great - convenient to walk to anywhere in Cruz Bay. The decor in the loft was charming. Bed was very comfortable. Donald and his staff were immediately available for questions. Easily rented a car for one day. Beach chairs and coolers provided. Will definitely stay here again on next trip to St. John. Thanks Donald!!!

Great place to stay!

The property was just what we needed! Went on Saint John we don’t need a lot of space so the rental had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was super clean. Even with two full size bags and packing our own snorkeling equipment, we had plenty of space. Three stand out things: the location could not be more convenient for walking to dinner and groceries, renting the jeep in conjunction with the suite made that step super easy, and the owner has all sorts of extras available for use, such as beach, chairs, coolers, floats, and more. We had a fantastic time and will definitely visit again!

Quaint charming convenient

Our apartment was full of personal touches and beautiful pottery. Lots of authentic artwork and lovely plants outside. Only short walk away from Cruz Bay restaurants and shopping. The owner also helped us with the jeep rental which was super convenient. We will definitely be back. This feels like home away from home.

Amore Studio

This place looks like a bit of Tuscany right in Cruz Bay, St. John, USVI. It's a bit quirky and we loved it. The studio was roomy enough, well equipped, and comfortable. It's an easy stroll to all the shops, restaurants, and ferries in St. John. Donald, the host, was pleasant and accommodating and was also a wealth if information. We wouldnt hesitate to return!
