Features include; 4 large bedrooms, 3.5 baths, new granite kitchen, large great room, elevator (upon request) expansive porches overlooking the Beach and much more. NO SMOKING, NO PETS. Amenities: Cable TV, VCR, DVD, Stereo/CD, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Electric Fireplace, Elevator (upon request), Microwave, Outside Shower, Boardwalk to Beach, Grill, Table, Community Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts, and more.

The view was amazing and access to the beach! We loved the rocking chairs on the porches! The kitchen was well equipped. The supplies were limited - it would have been nice to have at least enough coffee for the first morning, and coffee filters and sugar & creamers. The elevator was absolutely necessary for us, because my husband is 91 years old & has to use a walker. There are a few issues that need to be addressed: the Queen bed was not comfortable because it was too soft and the pillows were too hard. The water filter in the Queen bathroom sink was clogged & needs to be cleaned. Even so, the pros outweighed the cons, and we would book this house again.

Kitchen, dining room, living room all on third level so lots of stairs daily a must unless you pay for the elevator. There was a nice boardwalk and lots of hoses/showers outdoors. Two big porches, 1 screened in, to enjoy the ocean from the house.

One could not ask for a better property. It is a bit far out on the plantation, but other than that, the location was superb. The only negatives at all were the third floor wooden elevator door sticks, sometimes requiring a good shoulder push to get it open, and we had an issue with a leaking washer, but that was resolved.

Only issues were lighting in the 3rd floor master bath and the banging screen door that we couldn’t secure. Bath has no light over the sink so makeup is impossible. I was there for a wedding so that was an issue.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I rented a cute beach cabana for us and our 2 grandchildren from Suncoast. Two weeks before we were due to arrive, we received a call from them that our reserved rental was unavailable, and offered us an upgrade. We agreed to the upgrade sight unseen. On arrival we realized that the house was 3 story. Though it was a beautiful home, it wasn't very practical for us (both in our 70's and stroke victims). One call to Suncoast and after explaining our situation,they moved us to a gorgeous beachfront property with an elevator and even checked to make sure we were happy with the change. We and our grandchildren had a wonderful vacation at The Breakers and look forward to renting through Suncoast again! Excellent customer service!

Reviewer Comments: Overall house, weather and getting to see eclipse over the ocean were amazing.The deck definitely needs rescreening. We had issues with bug bites. Suncoast needed to respond more quickly to a stuck door.The house is very well stocked. However, a plastic tablecloth or placemats are needed to protect a table they request be covered.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great house: good floor plan for two couples, very close to the beach, and the home was in great condition considering its age. There were a few minor issues: it takes FOREVER to get hot water in the master bath and kitchen; the coffeepot was so clogged, it took 45 minutes to make 3 cups of coffee on our first morning (I cleaned it with vinegar that day and fixed that issue); the kitchen faucet is a menace, get ready for water everywhere when you use it; the edges of the dining table were super sticky (not sure why, and cleaning it did not help much); and the kitchen was poorly stocked, but we saw that in earlier reviews and came prepared. We were able to deal with all of these little issues, and they did not prevent us from having a great 10 day stay at The Breakers. This is one of the first houses in 35 years that we would consider for a repeat stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for our multigenerational vacation this year. The house was right on the beach with great views and easy access. We had access to all the community amenities too. We saw dolphins swimming by every single day. Because the house is in a community we had the beach to ourselves almost every single day. No crowds! That was definitely a plus. The floor plan was great and having use of the elevator was much needed with the toddlers. There was even a baby gate available for the stairs (although it needs to definitely be replaced). The house was very clean. Our only issue is that it would be nice if at least coffee filters and salt and pepper were supplied. Every other rental we've stayed at has supplied those. No golf carts are allowed, so we had to drive every time we went into town, but not a big deal because we were there for the beach! The living room furniture could use a little updating, but other than that, everything was good. Definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

The screened and shaded deck is a plus. Kitchen well stocked however skillets could use to be updated. Plenty of room with an extra large laundry room and bonus fridge on the second floor. I suggest the owners had some room darkening curtains in the master on the top floor. It was hard to sleep with the full moon and early sunrise. Beds were comfortable. Could use the bathrooms to be updated. They were small for size the giant bedrooms.

Some items needs to be addressed.the door from the 3rd floor bedroom to the deck could not be opened. We complained twice to Suncoast but was never fixed.The dresser in the 2nd floor master has not been usable for the last two years. We have always found the property clean. The location is great.

The house had a great setup with the master bedroom and bath on the upper floor, and the rest of the rooms on the 2nd floor. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The walkway out to the beach was very manageable with only 8 steps down to the sand. Loved this house and definitely will come back!

The kitchen is well stocked, the appliances are nice & easy to use, and the amenities are nice, especially the elevator and luggage cart. This is the only home I’ve stayed where a luggage cart was available. The kitchen also has a nice size pantry (with sliding shelves) so you can store your food items without dispersing them throughout various drawers. The top floor master is nice for folks who don’t want to maneuver stairs. We would definitely come back!
