Overall a great little place to stay.The beds are very creaky make a lot of noise and our semi comfortable.Hot tub wat hot enough although be careful it is old and the jets do not adjust.Watch out for cob webs and spiders they are all over the outside of the house.If you have little kids with you be aware that the front windows do not have screens so if you open them and they climb on the couch they can fall out.If you plan your vacation and you know there's going to be political rallies avoid this place the little town is very politically active.Would probably stay here again.

We are sorry you didnt have a perfect stay, we will look at the beds although we get great reviews on the house. Cobwebs get created over night and the house is surrounded by the forest. As for the screens we will be going by the house to confirm that and see where that is a problem, again Lazy bear is one of our most popular homes and holds a 5 star review. We appreciate all of this input and hope to host you again!

Great private location in the redwoods.

Enjoyed our stay. House was clean, well stocked and close to wineries, the golf course and quick drive to the coast. Loved relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Lovely return visit!

Clean, comfortable and well stocked home . The yard is gorgeous and you feel like you are in your own private forest ! The location worked well for our wine country activities and dining . This was our second stay at this house and we look forward to returning in the future .

Great stay in Guerneville

This house was clean and well appointed. The beds could use a refresh (mattresses not the most supportive and bed frame was noisy) but overall this was a great choice for our group of 4. The setting is beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood of other well-kept homes, but it is a bit of a walk on a busy road to get into town. Would stay here again if i needed something in the area.

Great family spot!

This house was absolutely perfect for our young family. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the layout of the home worked really well. It is a short drive into town which was really fun to explore. Bookmarking this home for future getaways!

Would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the uncomfortable beds. Especially in the primary bedroom, it's caving in the middle, groans loudly when there's any movement, and is smaller than the normal queen. Caused a major kink in my neck/shoulder that I still haven't worked out! Enjoyed the house otherwise - great hot tub with beautiful views to the trees and the cozy fireplace were highlights. Would come back if they upgrade the beds.

This is the first time we have received this feedback. That’s definitely not the experience we want our guests to have. We’ve already scheduled an immediate inspection of the primary bedroom mattress and frame, and we’ll be replacing anything that isn’t up to standard. Excellent Cozy Home in the Redwoods

Comfortable, well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood just outside of Guernville. We enjoyed the cozy living room (with a fireplace) and the excellent outdoor porch right in the redwoods with a hottub and a grill. Great stay and very kind, responsive customer care, thank you!

Perfect River Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lazy Bear. The house was gorgeous and the backyard patio was a dream! Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this house for our group of 6 as we needed four bedrooms. The house worked really well for us, grilling out, enjoying the hot tub, and feeling at home while away.

A perfect getaway

This is a spectacular property. The home is tucked down a driveway in a cute neighborhood. The highlight for us was the hot tub that overlooks the beautiful trees behind it. A perfect little oasis with an outdoor shower. Highly recommend!
