Inside, Parijatha features a spacious, open living area with a full sleeper sofa and panoramic views of the Gulf. The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals, while the adjacent dining area brings everyone together. The primary bedroom includes a queen bed, ensuite bathroom, and rollaway bed. A second queen bedroom and a kid-friendly twin room with trundle provide plenty of space and comfort. Right on the beach, with setbacks

My family and I have been vacationing in Galveston for 5 years and love the west end. We were so glad we were able to find a house right on the beach this year, but it came with some set backs. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days. Overall a decent stay, we were right on the beach, but the listing was deceiving. The primary bedroom does not have a king size bed, it was at best a double. The outdoor shower drain was clogged, so we didn't use it and instead used a garden hose to rinse off. Unable to use the lift, so bring your muscles with you and there is an outdoor ring security light (flood light), that went off every couple of minutes our 1st night, so sleep was difficult. Bring a sleep mask for your eyes or put a pair of shorts over them (like we did) and it helps. Sofa seating was limited for our family of 5, the floor was an option, but there was a big elevated spot in the middle, so be mindful. Bring detergent for the washer, because there isn't any and the towels had a slight mildew smell. I know im pointing out all the little things, I just want the next renters to come prepared. Its a smaller home, but we spent most of our time on the beach, so that wasn't an issue. There was also plenty of cookware, cups, plates, accessories, etc., but only the small burners on the stove worked, so bring a grill (like we did). Otherwise, being so close to the beach was the biggest selling point, you don't have to lug all the supplies back and forth a long distance.

Beautiful porch!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Galveston. The location of the house on the beach is gorgeous. The back porch is perfect. You can get up in the morning and look at the waves. Leave your patio door open and listen to them. Very nice if you want to be close to most of the restaurants bars of Galveston, it is about a 20 minute drive away. The back door was hard to lock....also need a mirror in downstairs bathroom. Very few trash liners detergent and dishwashing detergent...need to be more available in the house. Overall we were very pleased.

Beautiful stay

The location is wonderful. The hammock and porch are the best part. Great kitchen and communication with Gary Greene staff was above and beyond during a hard freeze and over the holiday weekend.

Quiet beach, good size

Nice house, great location. Nothing in the little game room was working (we didnā€™t use any TVs so canā€™t speak to that), needs towel hooks in the second bath for sure, and the beds were extra firm (pro or con depending on your needs). But the house was in a perfect spot, the kitchen super well equipped, and the beach here was amazing & clean. I had no trouble with cell service either. Watch for snakes anywhere in west beach/end of Galveston in the dunes- I would appreciate a bigger note about that in the rental as I found out day threeā€¦ overall I would say the rental was a 4.0 rating.

We enjoyed this house and the location. Being able to walk right onto the beach was a huge plus. The dowsides were minimal - lack of drawer space/places to put suitcases, and the beds were so-so. All-in-all a great house, which made for a great trip to Galveston!

Awesome & Relaxing

Great communication and check-in process. Property matched pictures. Location was perfect and secluded. Just a few steps and you are on the beach. Grandkids didn't want to leave! Fully stocked kitchen..... Everything you would need as far as utensils, cookware and appliances. Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful View!

The air conditioner is apparently on a timer. We like sleeping at about 68-69 degrees and woke in the middle of the night both nights and it went back up to 73. We only stayed two nights, so I suppose the one roll of paper towels and one trash bag were enough, lol! Nothing to sweep up the sand, no mop to mop up water from the bathroom or kitchen area. No cleaner or wipes to wipe off the kitchen counters. The beds were uncomfortable and squeeky. In the master bedroom, there are sliding doors (which makes for a beautiful view) but our first morning I attempted to slide open the vertical blinds and three of the slats came off. Believe me, I am 60 and my husband is 68 and we did not run rampant and try to destroy things. Bath towels are limited to one per person. There is a lift and hot tub pictured but they are for the owners only. Why put it in the picture to entice renters? Also, there is a game room pictured with various chairs, umbrella and wagon but those are not for your use either. Location is very, very quiet which was nice. We only saw a few people jogging, or walking their dog. We rented a golf cart from a company that knew where we would be staying (Sea Isle) and were told that we could ride the cart on the beach. When the gentleman dropped it, he said that we could NOT ride on that part of the beach. There are signs posted that you could face up to a $500 fine...not worth it. Just aggravating that the money spent on the cart was wasted, but that has nothing to do with this beach house. I'll take that up with them but as for the review, just know that this area will not allow golf carts. Good luck to you! God Bless!

Beautiful location, terrible accommodations

When we arrived at the property, the inside was swarming with mosquitoes and other various bugs. We sucked it up because itā€™s Galveston and understand that sometimes that comes with the territory. However, after sleeping on what have to be the most uncomfortable beds possible, we all considered packing up and heading home after the first night. It was a disappointment given how much money we spent renting the place out.

Breath taking views šŸ˜

The deck and view is as beautiful as it looks in the photos!! Great beach access right off the downstairs patio along with a downstairs full bathroom, and an additional outdoor shower.. which is great for the kids! This home was one of the cleanest beach homes Iā€™ve stayed at. When you stay at a beach, you expect to see an ant or small bug or twoā€¦ not at this house! The beds were very comfortable, some type of memory foam I believe. They do sit lower to the ground though, and bed is a tad squeaky. All the appliances work great, minus the fridge which never fully cooled down. The kitchen came with almost everything you could need, just missed a hand mixer (for baking or mashing). The kids hung out in their den every morning and evening! The air hockey and foosball table were a hit! Loved this place and would stay here again.

Relax and unwind!!

What a location! I listened to the waves coming in every night and had some of the best sleep I have had in a long time. Really easy check in and the communication was really easy. We made dinner every night but did see a lot of options as we drove to the property. Absolutely loved the property, the cleanliness, and the thoughtfulness that was put into every part of our experience. The porch is everything!! Sit on the porch and grab a book, cup of coffee, or just relax looking at the incredible view. Thank you so much for allowing us to experience Galveston in such an incredible way.

Everything you want in a rental

This house was right on the beach with everything you need and want. The outdoor shower/bar were a great amenity and the teens loved the game room. There was great communication from the property management companyā€¦they are very friendly and responsive.
