Lovely place. It was perfect for our family of 16. Ages 10 months -72 years. Plenty of beach chairs, sand toys , bikes , and beach towels . The kids loved watching the wild life on the golf course behind our unit.

It was perfect for our family of 14. The Hilton day pool pass was great for the kids. The garage was stocked for a beach day too with beach chairs and sand toys.

Dream Vacation Home

Family Tides was the perfect home for our family vacation. We traveled with 11 in our group and the home had more than enough space and amenities to keep us all housed and entertained during our week stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Family Tides. We were a group of 12 (3 siblings and their families) ranging in age from 9 to 59. The set up was perfect. The kids took the 4 twin room and the adjacent king bedroom. The 3 adult couples then took the two separate Ohana suites and the primary suite. There was plenty of communal space as well as private space. The Lanai was enjoyed by all. The open kitchen and living room allowed everyone to participate in meals. The house is on the edge of the resort which allowed for amazing volcano vistas during the day, incredible stars at nights, and beautiful sunrises in the morning. The bikes that came with the house were loved by the kids. They enjoyed being able to get around the resort and going to the beach and stores on their own. The access to the pools and lagoon at the Hilton was ideal for the kids and adults. We did a lot of activities around the island including visiting coffee farms around Kona, going horseback riding near Waimea, visiting the Hilo side to go to the National Park, and stargazing at the top on Mauna Kea. The management company, Paradise in Hawaii, was outstanding. They quickly responded by phone and text when we had any questions. I would definitely rent from them again.

The sleeping quarters were excellent! There was great outdoor space, kitchen supplies such as plastic baggies, foil, dishes, etc. It was very clean!! The biggest challenge was parking with three large vehicles and insufficient garbage cans. We had a great stay!

Beautiful Spot to Gather

A beautiful, well appointed home for a family vacation. Everything we needed and more was provided to allow us to cook, eat, and enjoy the beaches together. The layout worked perfectly for our different family members. Look forward to coming back sometime soon.

Family vacation

The house was perfect for our 4 adult children and their significant others. The Hilton property is beautiful. Definitely need a car to go anywhere

Beautiful home with access to Hilton Waikoloa Resort

Great home for 10-14ppl. Outdoor area has large dining table and tv/sofas that were perfect for our family reunion. Amenities were high end and home is a new build. We enjoyed our time there tremendously.

Best place to stay with a large family! Fully functioning kitchen, lots of washers and dryers! No need to haul snorkeling equipment because there is everything you need for ages 1 to 100!! The daily resort pass was a blessing for the family on days we didn't go to the beach. Location was perfect for exploring and loved our 2 mile walks for delicious coffees at the Kings Market area. Super clean, great quiet evenings, and lots of parking. We ALL agreed, best place to stay!!! Mahalo

The Big Island

The house was perfect for 5 couples. Everything in the house was beautiful. Outdoor was perfect right on the golf course with goats showing up at dusk.

Fun in the sun

It was a great place for 4 families and 3 small children. Lots of room to spread out. Everyone was able to have their own space. We loved how quick it was to get to Hapuna beach. Overall it has been a wonderful week.

Family trip

We had 10 adults and a 9 year old. House was great! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor area for grilling and relaxing between adventures. House was well equipped with beach towels/chairs, etc. 10 out of 10

RELAXATION PARADISE

This home is beautiful, spacious, equipped with necessary amenities and more, ideally located and full of peaceful, quiet, magnificent mountain views. Extended family of nine, representing four generations; needed one level home and space. We had sufficient space to gather and retreat for solitude. A pool would have been superb. However, passes to the nearby Hilton resort pool were satisfactory.

Wonderful family gathering

We had 4 families with 5 children 8 and under. The house was perfect. Plenty of room for together time. We had an outdoor movie night. The 2 ohana’s gave us privacy when a quieter time was wanted. The twin bed bunk room was just wonderful for all the little cousins. We spent several days at the Hilton Pools which was enjoyed by all. We had a minor maintenance issue and someone responded very quickly. I’ve already recommended the home to others looking to travel as a group. Mahalo for a lovely family gathering!

Hawaii trip 3

Very beautiful place! I pictured it a little different though, I thought the picture showed the 2 separate rooms would be in the rear and elevated off the ground. Bathroom counters are very high especially for our little ones. Would have been nice to have a few more children friendly plates and bowls. Nice to have access to the pool, but was quite a journey with little ones.

Paradise

Perfect for a large family/group. Beautiful property and plenty of space to spread out. The lanai was perfect for family meals and gatherings. We loved seeing the goats on the golf course and around the property. The sprinklers come on at odd times, 6pm in the evening, while enjoying pupu's and cocktails on the lanai and at 6am, while enjoying the sunrise and coffee.(It caught us off guard a couple of times) It does list the property as wheelchair friendly,which it is, however there were no handrails in the shower or bathroom area, which would have been very helpful.

A slice of Heaven

A little slice of paradise. House was beautiful and perfect for our 12 family members. Location was perfect for our situation. Kitchen could not have been better equipped to support our large family. Having access to the Hilton facilities was really appreciated and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Only issue was with automated blinds in rooms. Several were inoperative and one actually fell to ground. Otherwise, the stay will be remembered by all as a most enjoyable vacation.

Family Tides was FABULOUS

This beautiful home was perfect for my family to stay together to celebrate my birthday. It had everything we needed plus a nice fruit and snack bowl birthday makana. Loved it! We just needed to bring ourselves, food, and have fun. Everyone enjoyed our entire stay. From the beautiful sunrises to the gorgeous sunsets. Evening visits by a family of goats on the golf course. Included the use of pool at Hilton Waikoloa Hotel. Perfect! It was nice to have the two outside rooms that had their own washer, dryer, mini fridge and microwave. We can’t wait to book it again!
