Wonderful Place to Stay!

Loved staying here! The place is clean, well stocked and decorated cute! Loved that it had a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys for kids. They thought of everything!

Convenient and clean

This place was easy to check in and was clean and ready for us. A beach is directly across the street so we went every day even if we explored another part of the island for part of the day. The host was very responsive and friendly. The home was comfortable and quiet.

Guest parking is crazy far. But everything else is great. The host is very accommodating. Will definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

Aloha, Bruce!We are glad to hear that you and your extended family enjoyed the stay! The dedicated complimentary parking stall is located just in front of the unit. Unfortunately, we do not have control over location of guest parking stalls when the guests come with multiple vehicles - those are assigned by the Association. One is located in front of Building A (next to our unit) with the rest next to building B.Mahalo!

pesky neighbor but harmless, super clean, sept 2022

the neighbor downstairs was ridiculously nosey and a pest, other than that the people were good. very clean unit. we just smiled and went our merry way with the pest and enjoyed each moment of our stay

Anna, we are glad that you and your family enjoyed the stay and the beach and found the unit incredibly clean! Our on-island team works very hard to maintain the unit in top shape and well stocked! Sorry about the noise which you mentioned came from the guests staying one floor below - Association strictly enforces noise guidelines. Just let us know if it happens during the stay as its an easy fix! Hope you consider another visit to the island!

Nice Unit, Great Location to Beach - Worn Down Property

The condo unit itself was very clean, updated and overall in good condition with a few small, very minor complaints. For example, the kitchen was very tiny and could have been better supplied-- it did not have a pot big enough to boil water to make pasta for 4 people and one of the non-stick pans was rusty/old. Further, the sheets on the beds were quite thin; the beds moved easily around/were small; and the lock on the front door was finicky (we once left with the door unlocked unwittingly). The starter pack was good and the unit was well stocked for a day at the beach (beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards, etc.). Also note, the AC unit in the main living room area does not work well, and the apartment could feel quite hot and muggy, overall because it lacked central AC (but this seems fairly common in Maui). The one significant downside to me (and thus a 4 star review) is that the unit itself is part of a condo property that itself is quite worn down, and the pool/hot tub area needs refurbishment and the pool/hot tub itself needs a good cleaning. The water felt a bit slimy and a film on the sides of the pool. It is also small and fairly crowded (despite its condition). The location to a very family friendly beach was the best part of this property. It is more of a 5-7 minute walk from the unit, but the beach does not have big waves and is gorgeous. You can easily walk to casual restaurants and a Foodland grocery store. Carl, the on-site manager, was very responsive to texts, and we appreciated very much an early check-in due to traveling with small children.

Sarah, we are glad to hear that your family had a good trip and enjoyed one of the best family-friendly beaches on the island, which is right next to the unit! July is the high season on Maui, and this year has been even more busier than usual, which puts additional strain on all public common areas of the complex. As you mentioned central A/C is not frequently available in residences on the island, and this is the reason why brand new A/C units were installed in each room earlier this year, when the unit went through a complete remodel. The beds are brand new, standard size queen and full size beds in each bedroom, with the new full-size sleeper sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress in the living room, per description of the unit. We appreciate your suggestions about adding additional larger size cooking pot - our on-island team has already dropped it off at the unit, together with several extra non-stick pans. We hope your family will consider another trip to Kihei to enjoy everything is has to offer when it is a little less crowded.
