Nearby downtown Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, and Captiva are easily accessible by car or boat. You will have fast easy sailboat/boat Gulf access with no bridges or locks to contend with. Feel free to bring your own boat or rent one and tie up to the dock. Also, while on the dock drop a line in the water and catch some of the many great fish in the area - sheepshead, snook, snapper, redfish, etc.
