The vacation rental was very clean.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

We had a great time using the home and enjoying SGI. Pros: The view and peacefulness from and around the home are remarkable. The layout of the home and the furnishings are great. Comfortable beds and sitting areas. Great dock with loads of birds and jumping fish. We saw a dolphin two times cruising the docks. We managed to catch a few fish, which was a bonus. Cons:We found a lot of dishes that were not left clean. Most likely due to the previous renter not using the dish washer correctly. We found the detergent pod laying in the bottom of the washer that had never dissolved. There was no washing machine detergent that we could find to wash the towels as requested by instructions in the home. These instructions were not mentioned in the email we received. This is probably my biggest issue. It states in amenities that there's is a beach cart provided. We didn't select a cart in our 250.00 free gear for that reason. The next day I couldn't find the cart. I called the company that provided the free gear, they own the house. I asked if I could swap the corn hole board and bikes we rented for a cart. I was told no and that I would have to rent it at a 110.00 rental minimum. Seems they would have granted us that wish. At least the listed cart should be removed since there isn't one. Long haul to the beach without one. With that said we would most likely rent again and make sure we get a cart next time.
