FREE BEACH GEAR INCLUDING CHAIRS, UMBRELLA, PADDLE BOARD, KAYAK, BIKES, BEACH CART, TOWELS, TUBES AND TOYS! ALL YOU NEED IS YOUR SWIMSUIT AND SUNSCREEN....Want to get "Back to the Beach " the house is only 50 steps to the beach boardwalk, and you have a private tropical oasis with spectacular water views! Tucked behind lush tropical foliage. Located in a gated community. This home boasts an oversized living room with panoramic water views. The living room is large enough to enjoy playing games or watching movies on the 57in Flat screen TV with your family and friends. The beach is just down the sandy driveway, 50 steps to the boardwalk! This makes it very easy for families to travel back and forth to the beach with all the beach toys, chairs and umbrella and paddle Board that are included in this rental (you must supply your own helmets for bicycles and life preservers for paddle board use) The kitchen includes updated stainless appliances and an oversized sink to make cleaning up a breeze. There are two identical owner suites with new comfortable king beds, walk in closets and 42in flat screen TV's. The bunk room is equipped with two full size beds (Bunk Bed Style) and a 47in flat screen TV. All TV's have Netflix to watch your favorite movie. The home is stocked with games and puzzles to enjoy after a long day on the beach. We include a beach cart, beach towels, beach toys, bicycles (you must provide your own helmets), a paddle board (you must provide your own life preserver) The community offers great amenities which include a fitness center, pickle ball and tennis courts, and 2 pools. These amenities are easily accessible with only a 2-block walk/bike ride or a 2-minute drive. The vegetation on this tropical 1-acre property makes this home a great place for bird watching! We loved staying at Back to the Beach! The house was very clean and spacious and the owner has thought of everything to make one feel right at home. The property grounds are beautiful and make it feel like you are tucked away in a private oasis. The owner was very communicative and easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again!

Wendy is a wonderful and attentive host. The cart to take items to the beach was appreciated by all. We enoyed the bikes, kayak, toys, and games provided. We visited the pool which has the graduated entry and it was perfect for the younger kids. The quiet beach is just what we were looking for. Thank you Wendy for sharing your home at the beach.

We had awesome communication with host and she was highly responsive. Loved the house and property. It’s so shady with seating areas. Enjoyed the bikes so much, as well as beach and pool. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great, grill was great and sofas comfortable. Area under the house is great as well and we sat there often! Living room has windows that allow the outside trees to surround you. Great seating areas on deck. We had an awesome time and would stay again. Welcome gifts were huge surprise and such an appreciated touch.

Love love the place. Be prepared to walk stairs, there are 2 flights but nothing terrible. If your handicap maybe not so great. I will definitely stay again.

Wendy was wonderful to work with. She was in touch with us several times to make sure our stay was going well and to answer any questions that we had. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the house was well stocked with everything a person could need. We will return!

A great family trip to the beach! Our host, Wendy was thoughtful and a great communicator.The house and location are wonderful. The home is well appointed and so welcoming. You can tell this is a home meant for families to enjoy time together. Between games, a kayak and SUP, bunk beds, restaurant recommendations, blocks, smart tvs (perfect for watching college bowl games after a day at the beach), this was the perfect spot to unwind. I loved that the decor was thoughtful and fun and not a sterile and bland like some beach rentals.The beach is easy to get to (which i say from a perspective of traveling with 3 small kids). Definitely recommend this VRBO space!

Great stay at Back to the Beach

Our family had a great stay! We loved the spacious living area, privacy and proximity to the beach. The home was well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our vacation. We hope to stay here again.

We had a lovely time staying at Back to the Beach. The home is beautiful and inviting. The owner is very attentive and quick to respond to questions. The walk to the beach is easy, but definitely more than 50 steps. I did really like the location. We experienced high winds on the beach front, but we could still sit on the porch and enjoy the outdoors as the house sits back from the ocean behind some trees that kept the wind down a good bit. I had a bit of a stressful surprise after we arrived home and I received an email from the owner asking for extra money with no explanation and an email from the property insurance claiming damage. Later it became clear that the extra fee was for having a pet because I hadn’t stated we were bringing our dog upon booking. I assumed I had- honest mistake. I paid the extra fee as it was for a legitimate service. However, the property damage claim for a new rug was not damage caused by us or our dog. It didn’t cost me extra as I bought the property insurance, but it did cause stress as it came as a surprise. So I guess there can be an honest mistake on both sides of the rental partnership.

I’m so happy you found our home, Back to the Beach, beautiful and inviting, and that you enjoyed relaxing on the porch. I would also appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few details for future guests. The walk to the beach boardwalk is very short, and while counting steps can vary from person to person, our home is the first house off the boardwalk, which we feel offers the best of both worlds…close enough to make beach trips easy, while still providing the privacy of not being directly on the boardwalk. The trees and natural foliage surrounding the home create a peaceful, private oasis and are one of the things many guests love most about the property. Regarding the pet fee, it is listed in the rental information and helps cover the additional deep cleaning needed to ensure the home remains comfortable for all guests, including those with pet allergies. I understand the omission was an honest mistake, and I appreciate you taking care of it once it was brought to your attention. Extra fees are typically labeled by purpose, so I’m so sorry this caused stress. I take pride in communicating clearly and addressing concerns promptly. I’m glad you had a wonderful stay and hope you made many special memories during your time at Back to the Beach

Super location that is secluded but just a minutes walk from the beach!The bikes that came with the property we're great! As a family we probably spent more time on those than in the water! Such a peaceful place! We're in love with the island and this property!

Great location! In plantation gated community. 2 min walk to the beach. Had excellent amenities, as well as the plantation club house. Kids loved the bikes to ride. Clean house with a beautiful view. Loved the surrounding foliage that gave some nice privacy as well. Definitely would come here again!

Family Spring Break Trip

Great House

Lovely time at this house. Clean, comfortable, and well stocked with anything you can think of. Wendy was wonderful. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic

Back to the Beach has a great vibe. The lot is beautiful and secluded but it is just a short walk to the beach. The owner was great to work with. The house was perfect for our family, very clean and in great shape.

Back to the Beach

Back to the Beach is an excellent vacation home. The home is lovely inside and out. The home is nicely furnished with plenty of room for a large family. The space under the house is very nice also and a great place to hang out when tired of the sun. Wendy is an excellent host and so nice to provide beach chairs, umbrellas and a beach cart. I highly recommend this home and hope to stay again.

My Husband and I met 43 years ago as high school sweethearts in New York. We then moved to Atlanta for him to attend Chiropractic college at Life University. Atlanta became our home where we raised our 4 children. We have always loved vacationing with our children and creating memories together. We truly enjoy spending time together as a family! My husband and I always promised each other one day...we would get back to the beach! The time finally came, our dream became a reality "Back To The Beach". After 9 years of ownership, many fun trips and countless memories. We decided we wanted to share it with others so they could experience St. George Island as well.
