Sharing our Beach Front Beauty with you !!!

Welcome to Blue Crab - Your vacation home on the island. This lovely home has it all! Centrally located, you can walk to shops, restaurants, and the SGI Lighthouse Park. Relax and unwind while watching the dolphins. Vaulted ceilings with beautiful tile flooring complement the spacious great room / dining / kitchen. Blue Crab has been tastefully decorated with your comfort in mind. A well-stocked kitchen makes meals a snap.

Oversized master bedroom has a private deck overlooking the sand and waves. Queen bedroom with ensuite bath allows for privacy and separation. Cool loft boasts twin beds perfect for children or adults.

Outside living is easy with two large decks that offer both sun and shade. Charcoal grill is ready for your fresh catch. There’s also an outdoor shower (hot and cold water) for rinsing off after a day on the beach. Bring your basketball as we are only 6 homes from the court and Lighthouse playground.

Truly one of the best beachfront values on the island.

It was great in every way. The only thing we did not like was that the thermostat was not able to be turned very low. Kind of hot for sleeping.

What a little gem right on the gulf with stunning views and decks to enjoy the sunrises and the stars at night. The house is well laid out and very clean!! Becky was always quick to respond and oh so helpful. Welcoming and charming decorations added to the ambience. Kitchen VERY well stocked, furniture comfy, fans galore, and AC controls for each floor. It was a celebration of our friendship of 40 years and this was the icing on the cake! If ever in the area again, I would definitely book again.

Family Vaca

The Blue Crab was perfect for my family. I have 17 year old triplets. They each had their own bed and slept comfortably. The location of the property is very convenient. You can walk to most anywhere you want to go. The pickle ball court is literally a few yards away. We stayed the week of July 4th and was able to sit on our deck to watch the fireworks at the Blue Parrot restaurant. Ms. Becky was extremely responsive and accommodating. We had a blast and would absolutely stay there again!

Relaxing and Wonderful

We had a wonderful time at the house. It was perfectly located. Loved being able to walk directly to the beach and able to walk to the store and restaurants. Becky was good at communicating and check in was so easy. The house had plenty of room and had everything we needed.

Nice property

We enjoyed our stay however it would be nice to have a few extra towels and wash cloths as we had to do laundry everyday. The ceiling fans in king bedroom and living were not working.

Perfect week

Loved the fact that the proximity of the house was close to everything within walking distance. The house itself was clean, stocked with everything that we could have needed. My only request is that there could have been tvs in the extra bedrooms in case we had brought our children. All in all, I would say, was ten out of ten, highly recommend.

Perfect location

Perfect stay!

This was our first time on the island but it definitely won’t be our last. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and is in a perfect location. It was stocked with everything we could have needed. The beach is a very short walk with most of it being on a wooden walkway. The owner is very easy to work with and was quick to respond to any questions I had. Book the Blue Crab! You will not regret it!

Nice beach stay.

We enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect! The view was perfect. Plenty of space for our family. We only had a few complaints and they weren’t a big enough deal for me to contact the host. The floor was not cleaned well when we arrived. My toddlers socks and feet were very dirty after walking around in the house. There was a broom and basic swiffer mop but no wipes to go with the swiffer. The house would also benefit from a handy man working on some things. Like some of the light switches did not work well, knobs and fixtures were loose. I noticed the air vents on the ceiling had black spots. Like I said previously these were not enough for me to contact the host about and we still enjoyed our stay.

Awesome family beach week!

Loved the on-the-beach location that was close to restaurants and shops. Also happy there was no noise issues with being close to the rec area and the retail areas. Found what we needed in the rental to cook a few dinners, too. Communication was great with the host! Spent a few of the rainy afternoons exploring Appalach and Port St Joe.

Perfect location!

This was our second stay at the Blue Crab and it was just as enjoyable as our first stay. Perfect location within walking distance to coffee, ice cream at Aunt Ebby’s and several shops and beach rental places. Perfect location if you are bringing your dog as most of the restaurants are dog friendly and there is a park with plenty of space for walks and potty breaks. This location has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

Loved the location and house. Enjoyed our time with our dog on the beach. Emailed owner about an issue and it was immediately resolved.
