Thank you for your review. When we see there is impending and potential treacherous weather, it's important to us that we keep in constant communication with incoming guests! In this case, our team called several times before you arrived to make sure we properly alerted you to the winter storm we knew was hitting on your day of arrival. The safety of our guests is always our top concern. In our listing we let our guests clearly know “This home is meant to be a rural, country retreat away. While we do provide free internet, we also advise guests that internet may not offer optimum connectivity for those working from home or streaming/connecting from multiple devices.” We hate your guest could not receive the proper cell service she needed. Had the wifi not gone out in the storm, we believe you would have had a different experience. Our team on the ground was reporting severely icy roads throughout the area which impacted our ability to get to several homes, yours included. We worked round the clock to support all of our guests staying with us as timely and safely as we possible could during this storm and, as I'm sure you can understand, prioritized our efforts based on the most emergent situations.
