Seagroove II - This contemporary yet comfortable second-floor guest cottage in Seagrove Beach has New York style in a laid-back coastal setting. A short walk to sugar white sand beaches and the unique town of Seaside, Seagroove II is the perfect couple's retreat.

With 3 rooms, including separate bedroom with queen bed, and a spacious open plan living and dining room with a fully-equipped kitchen including stainless steel appliances, you have the amenities of a boutique hotel with the comforts of home. Other features include flat screen TV with cable, DVD, granite and solid surface countertops and surround sound system. A large screened porch with additional seating and dining overlooks a serene forest.

Seagroove II is a separate guest cottage with private entrance situated just behind the main house of the property owners. Outdoors, a private pool and hot tub are available for the property owners and Seagroove II guests.

Take a short walk, bike ride or drive to enjoy the natural beauty of the area's state parks, nature trails and beaches. Or enjoy dining and shopping in the many locally owned, high quality restaurants and shops.

Seagroove II sleeps two adults. Minimum age requirement is 22. No children and no pets are allowed. Parking for one car is included. Arrival and departure can be on any day of the week. There is a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Making reservations: Payment of 50% of the rent plus tax and security deposit is due when reservations are made. The balance must be paid no less than 30 days prior to arrival. For reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the full amount of rent, taxes and security deposit is due at the time of reservation. Call me at the number listed to reserve Seagroove II. Perfect for two

We had the absolute best experience staying here. It was just my husband and me and the apartment was just the right size. It was the perfect distance from walking to the beach. It was walking distance to Seaside for the Fourth of July celebration. The neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this for couples who need a quiet getaway. Jack and Sally were the best hosts.

Paradise

One of the most relaxing trips weā€™ve taken. Scenery was gorgeous and the restaurants were amazing in the local area. The home was clean and comfortable. Publix was close by to stock up on TP, trash bags, detergent, etc, which was needed. Kind hosts who were happy to help and answer our questions.

Awesome Getaway

Just like to start of saying that our time here was wonderful. Not only was the accommodations great the host are very accommodating, with anything we needed. My wife and I have stayed in numerous vacation rentals in the past, but this one has been the best. We just loved the location and the carefree feel. I would highly recommend staying here, and we plan on returning!!

Great stay!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful guest home for our honeymoon! We had so much fun. Everything was perfect and it was just enough space for us. The area was really nice as well and we loved being able to ride the bikes. We will definately be coming back in the future!

Perfect for two

The place was very clean and neat. Very cozy. It was a quiet neighborhood, but close to the downtown area. We didnā€™t utilize the pool since the first part of the week was cool. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean & convenient getaway

Jack was very helpful and personable. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable with a unique style. It was easy to get to public beaches and shopping areas along 30A. My husband and I really enjoyed the kitchen and hot tub. Thanks so much!

So relaxing

We really enjoyed our time at "Walk to Seaside!" We literally rode the bikes that were provided to the beach and Seaside every day. The place was just perfect for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine on the back porch. Thank you for working with us on such short notice.

Perfect beach getaway

The apartment over Jack's garage was the perfect choice for my friend and I who both wanted a quiet beach getaway. His place is tucked in a peaceful neighborhood. It takes about 12 or so minutes to walk to the beach through the neighborhood and the beach access is directly across the street from the neighborhood entrance. Will keep Jack's place in mind for future beach trips. We loved it!

Great Experience for a Couple

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seagroove II. The carriage home is nicely decorated and very comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood yet very walkable or bike-able to the beach, DT Seaside and nearby state parks. Jack was excellent in terms of communication and recommendations. We both highly recommend Seagroove II for a couple looking for a nice relaxing getaway. Thank you Jack!

Great accommodations/location - listed amenities disappointing

We had a nice stay. I met Jack once. He was very personable and made some great recommendations. I would have rated our stay a 4-5, but neither the pool nor the hot tub were working. Having access to these amenities played a pretty big role in selecting the property for our stay. It was disappointing that neither worked and we had no idea until we arrived.

Excellent carriage house with great privacy and outdoor (deck) space

Super property located in a very nice neighborhood with great space both indoor and outdoor...even a private outdoor shower which was very handy! Using a bike, both the beach access and restaurants in Seagrove and Seaside were just a few minutes away. Beach chairs and umbrella are a very nice amenity along with access to the main house pool. Begin your day on the screened in back deck w coffee and end it with a bourbon after dinner! Owner is very responsive to text/email but also respects your privacy. Highly recommend...

Great Place to Stay!

This was out third time staying at Seagroove. It is a great place and cannot be beat for many reasons. The carriage house is well appointed and has everything you could want while at the beach! We love the location and it is only a short walk to the beach. We normally park the car on arrival and then do not use it again until we leave. Seaside and many other restaurants etc are all within an easy walk or bike ride. Unfortunately we had rain all three days but we did not let this get in the way of being at the beach and having a nice relaxing time at Seagroove! We hope to be back for our annual trip next year! Perfect and Quiet and Private Seaside/Seagrove Stay!

My husband and I highly recommend this sweet treasure! We just recently stayed here for a weekend wedding we attended in Seaside. As for us, we do not like to be in the middle of tourist hotspots, but rather enjoy finding the gems outside of our fun destinations. This place is perfect for that! Although Seaside is precious and fun to visit, this carriage home is a walk/bike ride/2 second drive away. We enjoyed Seaside's restaurants and entertainment; however it was wonderful to return to our quiet and secluded room. The screened-in deck is AMAZING with a beautiful view of the lush greenery surrounding the area, perfect for a morning coffee and late evening glass of wine! The carriage home itself is very well decorated and taken care off since it is part of the owner's private property. We felt more like guests, rather than renting some condo found on the internet:) The owners have provided two chairs, an umbrella and bikes for beach use, which is an added bonus! We loved our stay and will definitely return! Thank you!

PERFECT Labor Day Weekend ...

I'm hesitant to write this review because I want to keep this awesome secret for myself! We've been visiting this area for many years. Because we have the flexibility of not having children, we can go pretty much any time we want - and would not normally choose a holiday weekend (for obvious reasons!). While the roads were jam packed with tourists, we were tucked away in our little natural paradise for the long weekend. You would have never known there were a million people on 30A this past weekend! Don't let the words "carriage house" deter you from making reservations at Seagroove 2 because you think "carriage house" means small. In this case, it is anything BUT small. In fact, I was wondering how they got all the comforts of a large apartment into the space above the garage: A great sized bedroom - not once did I trip over my bag - with plenty of lighting for reading on either side of the bed. A super cool bathroom with HUGE shower and large vanity area (again --- I didn't trip over anything & had plenty of room to spread my stuff out to get ready). A GREAT kitchen. We like to cook. Had I realized the SIZE of this kitchen and all the amenities (yay for nice wine glasses - always a plus and hardly ever the reality), we would have brought groceries and never left the place. There is a bar with counter stools, plenty of room for watching the chef as you enjoy your wine and cheese. The living room was perfect! We are still in awe of the buildout! The porch is the kicker to this place. The property backs up to a nature preserve, and it's the most peaceful place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or your morning coffee and a book. We picked the hottest days of the the year to visit last weekend (or so it seemed) and that porch was cool and comfortable after a day on the hot beaches! It's well appointed with chairs and a table. The bikes were a nice touch too! You're so close to Seaside and the beach - you don't have to get in your car - RIDE! You would never know that the owners are right there on site except that they take care to provide special touches for your stay and make sure that you have everything you need. Jack is one of the friendliest people I've met, and took the time to introduce himself (and to even call us when we left something behind!) and stressed that he was available if we needed anything for our stay. If you're looking for the perfect getaway for a few days or a week - book Seagroove 2. You'll love it!

Week at Seagrove Beach

Carriage house in back. Owners live at the main house. A lot of people in the area. You felt out of the rush at this property. Very quiet, easy bike ride to a beautiful beach, and a modern and clean place to stay. Owner was available and very helpful. TOP NOTCH place!

Great stay for couples

Enjoyed our short vacation in Seaside. The bikes were perfect for riding to the beach and in to town. Good amount of space for two people with a spacious kitchen, bathroom and living room. Loved having a place to wash beach towels too. The internet was a bit slow which made it hard to stream to the AppleTV, but there was cable available too. Overall a great spot for two near the beach.
