Casa Besos was intentionally created to celebrate the community with friends and family. The owners' first journey to Nosara took place over 10 years ago and they have seen the town grow and evolve. They choose to build a very personal home to share with special guests and friends.

finished construction in early 2020 and is a modern, eco-friendly, luxury four (4) bedroom, four (4) bath home minutes from the main surf break in Section J in Nosara, Costa Rica.

The space

The main room wall is glass and opens to the tranquil pool and BBQ area. The gourmet kitchen offers a professional-grade stove to cook or to hire one of Nosara's well-known private chefs. There are 5 seats at the kitchen island to discuss the day's waves or yoga class and the dining room table is constructed from a single piece of Guanacaste tree wood seating 10. The Living Room has a 65" flat-screen Smart TV with Cable and popular Apps from the home screen.

It has a Sonos sound system that enables fun and relaxed vibe both inside and outside the home. There is a special BBQ area with a professional-grade grill next to the pool, complete with an outdoor sink to grill the day's fresh catch. Enjoy dinner on the patio and a relaxing plunge in the two-tiered waterfall pool surrounded by palm trees that are lit beautifully at night by professional lighting. The hanging swing over the pool is a great place to unwind or watch the howler monkey families cruise and play in the jungle canopy over the home.

Of Casa Besos 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned and 3 are King Size Master beds each with its own bathroom. The 4th bedroom is a kids' bunk room with 4 beds stocked with games and art supplies for the kids. Each bedroom is designed with a minimalist and modern focus. All bedrooms have custom sliding doors that open to the pool and each shower has beautiful hand-painted tile by a local craftsman.

The primary master bedroom on the second floor is stunning and tranquil with a rich indigo blue wallpaper, a large deck that overlooks the pool, and an added sun area with a day-bed and chairs to enjoy the beautiful morning sunlight, lazy afternoons, or quiet evenings reading or taking in the ocean and jungle sounds.

Casa Besos prioritized good design and security with its construction. A security guard patrols the property nightly during dinner and late evening.

Many visitors to Guiones opt to not rent a car. In fact, Casa Beso's location is ideal because it is a four-minute walk to the beach and within a ten-minute walk to the famous Bodhi Tree Resort, several bars and restaurants, multiple surf shops, bakery, gym, and market. Many families opt to rent ATVs or golf carts to cruise around town or venture to neighboring beaches. If a car is a must, there are multiple car rental options in Nosara - but by no means necessary given Casa Besos' ideal location in Section J.

While Costa Rica does have many of the conveniences you are accustomed to having at home, navigating a foreign country can feel a bit tricky. For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.

Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.

Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card.

Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.

Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).

Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.

Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from traveling or fulfilling Rental terms.

Gardening Policy: Routine garden maintenance is scheduled for stays of one week or more. Guests wishing to opt out of this service to ensure uninterrupted privacy may do so for a $75 fee, payable directly to the property manager.
