This house was just completely remodeled as of 8/10/22!) The Sea glass house is an amazing river front property close to the Chesapeake Bay. Relax on the white sands with family and friends. look for shells, sea glass and sharks teeth right on the Beach. Fish right off your own private dock, build a fire on the beach at night, bring your boat ! Boat slips are available to rent at the Marina . You get access to the Coles Point Marina pool included in your stay and just a short bike ride away. There is an indoor fireplace for those chilly Fall and Winter nights. Out door hot tub that seats 7, two screened in porches and an enormous private beach with dock. This house is an incredible year round Vacation Home! Quite neighborhood on a peninsula by a full service marine. If you have a boat, you can rent a slip at the marina for the week! It is a 2 minute drive from the house. There are two incredible waterfront restaurants within minutes of this house! There is plenty of parking at the Sea glass house. We have bikes available for you to use. We also provide kayaks and Paddle boards for guests to use at their own risk. Be one of the first people to stay at this house after it was completely remodeled with new furniture, bathrooms, paint, hot tub, landscaping, the works! Pets welcome with a $150 pet fee due at the time of booking.

We spent most of our time on the beach. October weather makes for a comfortable quiet stay. Our pup was delighted by the large fenced yard area.Very happy long weekend!

Great Getaway!

We booked this house for New Year’s Eve with our friends and couldn’t be happier with it! Beautiful location, very spacious, and clean. Great fenced in yard for the dogs as well!

Perfect Trip

This was a short trip for part of our granddaughters spring break. House was exactly what we hoped and accommodated 7 of us with ease! Well stocked kitchen which was perfect! Beach is amazing and the weather was perfect!

Great family get away!!

Really nice layout and decor. Lots of spaces to hang out in with views of the water. We all loved swimming in the water, so refreshing and hanging out in the sand beach and on the dock!!! Kids and dogs had a ball!!! The hot tub was a great bonus!!

Lovely little hideaway

Beautiful views for a relaxing, refreshing girls weekend away! The house was filled with everything we needed, and they were very quick to respond to any questions. Would absolutely come back!! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay!

The property was exactly what we were looking for. The house had all the amenities and was set-up perfectly for our visit. It was a short walk from the house to the pier and the setting was just beautiful!! It was very difficult to leave when our vacation was over. I would recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a relaxing time on the water.

Anniversary stay

The house is truly amazing and beautifully decorated. It’s safe to say we enjoyed our stay. Home is fully equipped with everything you need. Host was really helpful with making this trip special. Hubby enjoyed fishing and took a stab at crabbing. I would recommend and would stay again.

Will Definitely Book Again!

I was in charge of booking my very first family vacation and I really wanted to be near water and trees. This location was perfect as the kids loved being on the beach (and utilizing the Kayaks, Life Jackets, and Floaties provided by the host) and the adults loved the serenity of the area. The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had which definitely set the tone for me before even arriving!

Perfect house for families right on the water.

Really lovely house that had everything you needed and then some. Great furnishings, plenty of space. Hot tub. Beach. Fire pit. We had two families for a few days in December and loved it. Summer must be amazing.

We had such a great experience at the Sea Glass Beach House. Frank was easy to communicate with and provided quick responces. Making memories one adventure at a time

This marked our first family vacation without the presence of extended family and friends. It was extraordinary for us as we enjoyed cherishing each other's company and creating unforgettable memories. We enjoyed ourselves at the beach, engaging in indoor and outdoor games, boating, and so much more. Each of us departed with heartwarming memories, eagerly anticipating our next family vacation. Remote, clean, pet friendly house on the Potomac

Frank is a wonderful property manager. The house was well decorated and clean. We spent the majority of time in the sun room or outside on the patio. There were jellyfish near the doc, so we didn't get in the water. We did take great pictures of the Osprey, who would often sit on the pier pilings.Pet friendly and can sleep the whole family. Note, while the house can sleep 14, there are only 2 bathrooms, which could be odd if you aren't all family. (we had 6 adults, and a 2 year old). Always great to find somewhere that is pet friendly.If you are looking for a remote family vacation, this is it.Food Lion is about 25 minutes away and is the closest grocery store.

Thank you for having us. Pros: Good spacious property, quiet place and very private. Great dock for fishing and boating, and beach for swimming. We enjoyed the fire place for s’mores, good WiFi signal, hot tub, boats, screened patio, outdoor grill.Come: wooden walk way to the river had some nails that were sticking out. Kitchen needs to have updated pans (and pots), pans aren’t non-stick and burn easily, real struggle to make food there. Things like lighter is missing (for the firewood). Near gas station so called Erica mall is far from fully stock place, it only had one frozen pizza from food, while it was advertised as mini market near by. Otherwise good place for a large crowd to stay for a few days

Thank you for your feedback! We have taken care of the nails popping up on the wood walkway and dock. We do not provide lighters, they tend to walk off with guests and it is hard to keep up with restocking them. Unfortunately you went to the wrong store. Erica Mall is a gas station. General Dollar is 8 min away and has a full grocery store with milk, eggs, lunch meat ect.. everything you would need except fresh vegetables. Thank you for your suggestion for nonstick pans. We will add a few to the kitchen. So glad you has an incredible time! Hope to see you back.

Beautiful hidden gem!

If you're looking for a quiet place on the River to unwind that is off the beaten track, then you will be impressed! Recent Family vacation was a perfect retreat from crowded & over-populated locations in the Mid-Atlantic region. Frank was a great host - easy to communicate with, and always prompt in replies. Recent renovations provided very homey feel...Location on the River was amazing. Be sure to do a little advance planning for: rainy days/nights and young children. No brief trips to any nearby restaurants - they're unreliable at best. Look forward to returning! Thank you for your Hospitality!!

Wonderful!

What a beautiful house and grounds! I grew up in Annapolis on the water and this vacation was a great reminder of that time. The Ospreys put on a show and the Great Blue Heron flew past with such majesty. The house is so well done. The smoke from Canada limited some outdoor activities but with so many wonderful views from the house it was ok. The porches which allow time alone are a great peaceful place to relax. The OBX is represented as well and I really loved that too. The Corolla and Bodie lighthouse cats meow style decorations and the other decor is so well done. Like so much, prices are going up and my traveling is becoming limited. If this is one of my last times on the water, I will cherish it. Thank you! Yours, Robin

Catch your breath in a breathtaking environment

The drive to this home is as relaxing as the stay itself. I needed a moment to pause and celebrate my youngest child's birthday and this place made it magical. The hundred year old trees. The oversized cushy couches. Technology at the touch of a button for teens and kayaks and bikes and paddle boards when we needed to unplug. The hot tub is everything! The showers also phenom. Was truly a great moment to catch your breath in a home that takes your breath away. Best of all worlds.

Awesome!

we stayed here for 3 nights. We had a great time! Easy access to the private beach. Plenty of rooms for casual dining! House was very neatly maintained and well equipped! Frank was great. He answered all my questions and made us very comfortable. we also enjoyed taking a bike ride. There are 3 restaurants close by and more in a 20 minutes drive. We had an awesome stay!

There is nothing like the Northern Neck of VA. There is endless wildlife to view from Eagles, Swans, Ducks, Deer, Hawks etc.. The water views are amazing. The Seaglass house has a private dock that you can fish from, A beautiful beach you can walk right into the water and cool off, firepit for roasting marshmallows, a full service Marina that is just a two minute bike or drive away where you can rent a boat slip for the week and bring your boat! You will have full access to the Marina pool. There are 3 restaurants within 2 miles of the house and two are water front. There is a brewery in the town of Montross and several wineries in the area. In the Fall and Winter time you can cuddle up in front of the indoor fireplace. This is really a year round vacation home. Once you arrive you will never want to go home!
