Oceanside Escape for Two

ā€œMini-Margaritaā€ is a spacious studio apartment overlooking the ocean from the island of Hans Lollik to Jost Van Dyke, Tortola, St. John, and beyond. From the cliffside deck you can enjoy fresh ocean breezes in this tropical getaway. The studio is furnished with a king bed, futon, a bistro set, a compact kitchen (two burner gas cooktop, micro/convection oven, and full-size refrigerator), and a small BBQ. Relax and sunbathe on the deck or discover the islands many treasures. Beach towels and a cooler are provided if you wish to explore some of the islandā€™s beautiful beaches, including Magenā€™s Bay Beach which is only 2 miles away.
The studio has its own staircase from the parking area to its entrance, along with a private deck. The ocean trade winds keep the apartment cool, but air conditioning is available if you feel the need. Wi-Fi is available, TV with DVD player, no cable TV. Modest accommodations for a modest budget.

The studio is located in a private, gated neighborhood, so all guests must have a rental car.

All guests are required to provide ID and sign our rental agreement.

Mini-Margarita made for perfect getaway. You will enjoy stunning views of Leeward Passage and some of the surrounding islands; we sat outside on the balcony nearly every night to soak in the sea and the stars. The property is well-equipped with beach towels, a cooler, soap/shampoo, and a gas burner, and we found it superb for two travelers. Navigation to the property is somewhat challenging the first time; however, the host is very communicative and youā€™ll quickly learn thereafter. The community is private and residential, making for great privacy, and the famous Magens Bay is just a few minutes down the road. We would highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a St. Thomas getaway!

Seaside Bliss with Stunning Ocean Views

We recently returned from our second stay at Mini Margarita and it was wonderful. The unit has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay while exploring the island. Small but perfect studio for two

Beautify quiet and relaxing studio with fantastic views. Roads leading to studio are rough and recommend arriving during the daytime, but this was the perfect place for us. We even saw a pod of whales swim by during our morning coffee.

Excellent getaway with tons of privacy. I was pleasantly surprised by how many touristy things I accomplished daily. I did everything except Red Hook and Saint John. I spent the extra time visiting Magen's beach an extra day which I could have done every day. The trick is to turn left after you pay to get in. Everything in Peterborg was paved unlike in St. Croix so the Jeep wasn't needed, but a nice touch to alert other drivers, I'm a tourist. The most underrated part of the stay was the night sky, it's an amazing view of the stars. I'm hoping to have the opportunity to stay again.

SERENE AND PEACEFUL OCEAN VIEW

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the serenity and peaceful setting of the studio apartment. Having morning coffee on the patio as the sun rose and with a water view was outstanding. The studio had all the amenities we needed. We had breakfast everyday and made sandwiches for the beach every day. The WiFi was excellent and we did have adequate Verizon cell service. From earlier reviews we were aware of the steps down to, and up from, the villa. We are both in our 80ā€™s and had no problem. Also, the road down to the villa is a series of switchbacks that we found an ā€œinteresting" drive. We were literally 5 minutes from Meganā€™s Bay Beach (our favorite) but Sapphire Beach is only about 20 minutes. Also, driving to Red Hook is easy (25-30 minutes) and you can get the ferry to St. John for some really good beaches. We were going to buy beach chairs locally (rentals on the beach at Meganā€™s Bay are $20/person, with an umbrella) but we found 2 folding beach chairs & an umbrella in the villa. There was one thing that we found a bit uncomfortable and that was that the bathroom only had a curtain for privacy (and it was not really private). We mentioned that to our host and was told that the addition of a door was at the top of the improvement list. Diane is an excellent host and prior to our arrival had provided details about the villa, local restaurants and stores, and very good driving directions.

Breathtaking views

My Wife and I stayed here for our 20h anniversary. First time in St. Thomas. This home had a beautiful view of the ocean. We had everything in the home we would of needed for our stay. Very affordable and a gated community. The host was very prompt and we had absolutely no issues as she sent us everything that was needed for the stay and the island. She even helps her guests with information for the island. If you want a affordable, amazing views, and a responsive host no reason to stay anywhere else but here. Awesome awesome awesome. Did I say awesomeā€¦. Beautiful awesome place and host. Thank you Diane

Beautiful Seaside Getaway for 2

We had an amazing time staying at Villa Margherita and Diane was a very accommodating host. The room was comfortable, clean and included everything you could need for a week on the island. Conveniently located close to Magens Bay in a safe, gated community. The perfect place to escape the crowds after a long day exploring the island. Enjoy some of the best oceanfront views in the Caribbean from the private patio. 10/10 recommend and we canā€™t wait to go back! Thank you

Simple but clean/complete with stunning view!

This place was absolutely perfect for my stay in St. Thomas. The studio was clean, well-equipped, quiet/private, not fancy but with simple/lovely decor, a small but fully appointed kitchen, and a spacious shower bath. The most striking aspect was the AMAZING view. The entrance is down 2+ flights of outdoor stairs to a small deck landing where you can sit, and once inside you have a full wall of windows to the breathtaking views of water/cliffs/surrounding islands. The bed, chairs, and table all face these windows (which open to capture the constant breeze) so you can enjoy it all the time. The studio has air conditioning but I only rarely needed to use it because of the breeze. The location makes it utterly private and serene. Be forewarned that itā€™s definitely true you should have a car, and the location is about 1/2 mile inside a gated community with very twisting/tight/steep roads. Itā€™s doable for sure - Iā€™d never driven in St. Thomas before and I did just fine! But be prepared.
