Makana's Place can be rented in quaint Kailua Town. This Non-Smoking home is very spacious. Beautifully decorated with well quality furniture. Wonderful for children.

The beach, yes the beach. It is about five minutes away. It has been rated the #1 beach in 'best beaches' survey. Most people come to Kailua for Kailua and Lanikai Beach. Makana's Place takes great pride in making sure your stay in Hawaii is everything you expect it to be - and more! We'll help make sure your visit to Oahu exceed your expectations.

We offer a multitude of Hawaii vacation rental home properties, for your vacation lodging. Requirements on Oahu from studios to five bedroom homes. Most of our Oahu vacation rental houses are located on the tranquil windward side on the island. All of our vacation rental properties are highly maintained and elegant throughout.

**All homes come with a starter set of paper supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags. Should you run out it is the guests responsibility to supply themselves for their stay.

**ALL QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM - 8AM. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE NEIGHBORS THEY DO HAVE TO ATTEND WORK/SCHOOL.

The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 30 days and no one else may occupy the property during that period. The 30-day rental period will be communicated to guest upon booking. All rates quoted will be based on a 30 day period. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

In compliance with the Revised Ordinances of the City & County of Honolulu, the Property will be made available to you for your use and occupancy for a period of thirty (30) days. If you do not stay for the full 30 day period and stay for your scheduled dates the property will remain vacant through the end of the scheduled 30 day period.

Our stay at Makana's place was absolutely fantastic. Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids had more than enough room in this spacious home. Upon arrival we were greated by Makenna(not sure of how he spells his name). He was soooo polite and answered all of our questions. From the time we opened the front door to see the beautifully updated home till the time we had to sadly leave things could not have been better. The outdoor covered table was a great place to have dinners. The gas BBQ made it easy to make our dinners. The beach is a short drive away and the most beautiful beach we have been to in our 5 trips to Hawaii. Traveling with a 6 and 4 year old some beaches can be to difficult but this beach was perfect. In the words of a 6 year old Best Day Ever! Our only regret was we didn't book this spot for longer. Loved that it was close to town for evening strolls through some shops. Our only problem was navigating our large 15 passenger van into the driveway but this had nothing to do with the rental. Luckily our Nephew was very experienced at parking a large vehicle. If we come back to Hawaii we will definitely stay here.

Beautiful home right in Kailua, close to beach and amenities and the outdoors sitting and grilling area was very nice. Great service and absolutely no problems or complaints !! Will be back !

We enjoyed our stay

The location was great, Kailua is a small town with a great nearby beach. Being on the east side of the island was awesome because the mountains can't be beat and it was only a 25 minute drive to waikiki and Honolulu. I loved being forced to make that drive. If we had stayed on the west side we might never have seen the views on the east side. The property it self was nice because it was big enough to feel like more than a hotel room and gave our kids enough space to run around. The listing, when we made our reservation, said there was space for 6 and a DVD player, it was updated to space for 5 at some point later. We fit with some rollaway beds but it was a little tight. There was no DVD player. If we ever get a chance to come back to Oahu this is where we will stay.

A great place to stay!!

It is not on the beach but the next best thing!!! It was a great place close to everything, minutes from beaches and shopping. Great owners. Would stay again in a second!!!! Thank you Misty for everything.

Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean

This roomy rental was beautifully decorated and super clean. A cottage snuggled behind a large home, our family found it to be very comfortable. It's approximately a one mile walk or quick drive to cute shops, restaurants and bars and some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Hawaii. We will definitely be back!

W.O.W. - Wonderful Oahu Wonderland

This is was my family's first trip to Oahu and first time using a Vrbo property. We had a fantastic stay! Property itself is wonderfully maintained and quiet with working air conditioning units. Hosts were very responsive. Perfect spot, near the beach (7 minutes via automobile) and to city shops (Target, local eateries, etc.). Far/yet close enough from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki (25/30 minutes). Would highly recommend the property and hopefully get a chance to return. THANK YOU! :)

Amazing property!!

Our reservation was last minute and Misty was wonderful in accommodating us! This home was immaculate and perfect for my family and my parents with the attached studio. The decorations made the house so beautiful as well as giving it the perfect Island vibe! Misty was always available and answered quickly. The location was absolutely perfect and we found our favorite spots while the beach was walking distance! I can’t say enough about this home!!

Great House

I was happily surprised at all the space in this house. The location was great since we visited all areas of Oahu. Anytime I texted Misty she was quick to respond through email. She also has plenty of beach toys that my 14, 10, 6, and 2 year old used.

Enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay, the house itself is very nice. There is no yard or real private outside area. The gazebo and green space are very small area. Needed more wash clothes and kitchen towels. It was very quiet , spacious and appreciated all the beach items available.

Being from this island, we wanted to venture out to the windward side of the island. Got to see, eat, and explore various places that we have never done before. Coming back from our day of exploring to a comply home was fantastic.

Clean, well kept, well stocked, home away from home!

This home was absolutely amazing! My family, friends and I enjoyed our stay at Makana’s Place. The home is so beautifullly kept and fully stocked with bath and beach towels including laundry soap and ingredients to cook with, it even had a rice cooker! Safe neighborhood and plenty of room outside to gather with the kids, friends and family for a small barbecue. The only thing I would say is that the trash and recycling bins need to be marked, because we had no idea which one was which and that there were multiple bins some of which belonged to the neighbor which we were not able to identify and separate, so we truly apologize if we put our trash and recycling in the wrong bins. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this home! Thank you Misty and Makana’s Place! You made our vacation a wonderful easy going stay!

We enjoyed are stay. House is confortable and clean. outdoor installation & bbq clean and practical. very good and polite service. We communicated with them for Dishwasher fonction and BBQ gastank. They answer promply for dishwasher and gastank was changed even before we came back from the beach. It was well appreciated.

A great place!

We just got home from staying here for a week. We had a great time and really loved it! The house was a lot bigger than I expected. The bedrooms were really spacious the entire place was really clean. There were a lot of extra bedding and towels, which was nice! The garbage disposal starting leaking on us. We called the owners and Dean was there within an hour and it was replaced the next morning! I would definitely recommend staying here!
