Great vacation spot

Great accomodations in the quiet part of Kauai. A short walk from the supermarket, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Central location to visit sites all over the island. Well stocked. Coconut Marketplace right next door for food and groceries. The fronting beach is about a quarter mile walk. The two ac's were good for keeping the condo nice and cool. One caveat, if you are going at a time of the year when you do not need the ac, both lanais face the main highway, which is only about 50 yards away. However, with the ac running, I had no issues with road noise.

Nice place to stay on east shore of Kauai:)

Overall we enjoyed our stay @ Hale Plantation condos.Location was great, & amenities such as beach chairs/cooler/umbrella/towels & such were welcome.Kitchen seemed to have most of what we needed.Our lanai facing gardens/pool area was very enjoyable every morning for breakfast, & later in day for dinner/drinks.Main complaint was the beds - very small for 2 normal size adults, & they were very uncomfortable, my back has not been happy every morning:(. Hope you consider purchasing new beds soon.Thank you

Perfect Kuaia Kication

Well equipped and very cute decor. Pools nice. Great location, if you have car, to any area on island. Beach at condo is a nice view but not our fav for a beach day. Within a few miles, though, there are great beaches. Loved having Coconut Market Place next door for restaurants, groceries and shops. Would stay here again. This unit C8 has two double beds in one bedroom.

Great location and all the comforts

We enjoyed 15 nights here as a group of 4. It's a 5-15 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and groceries and perfectly situated on Kauai to allow north shore and south shore adventures. The condo is well appointed with beach chairs, cooler, wagon and towels. Even the knives were sharp! We were bummed at some light road noise and full sized beds. Property mgt was very responsive via text, but be aware they only supply 3 rolls of tp for 4 people over 15 nights and won't resupply. We'd stay here again - we'll balanced value

Well equipped and nicely decorated. Lots of kitchen utensils (though the blender leaked). A very nice lady came to make sure we got off to a good start. The gecko tactfully stayed out of our way. Nice spot!

Great location. Pool hot tub jets were not operative. Condo smelled a bit musty. Otherwise—perfect!

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the pool hot tub jets not working, we quickly reached out to the AOAO once you reported it and they were aware that it needed attention. As for the musty smell, the carpets were just cleaned, but do the a/c being run a lot, sometimes this can aid in this. We will look into this further. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will address these issues to ensure a more comfortable experience for future guests. Perfect location to see both north and south Kauai

Great location to travel around from. Pool hot tub jets were not fully operative but it was sure nice to have a soak after the Napali Coast hike. Great kitchen and bathroom for the 3 of us. Condo smelled musty until we turned on the AC or maybe we just got used to it. Be sure to explore the beach - a walk through the path is well worth the effort! Thanks for the excellent/quick communications by the manager!

Mother Daughters Trip/ Birthday

Great condo in a central location with everything you need. Beach chairs, towels, blankets all there. Everything needed in the kitchen to cook your meals. Spent a wonder week here enjoying the walk to Coconut market place where you can purchase all your souvenirs and shop for food and coffee. Close to the beach but the issue is the beach you can walk to is not swimmable and has a small homeless camp so we only went there our 1st night Always felt safe and the condo was very clean! Enjoyed our stay

Regarding the lack of sunlight, the resort does a great job at keeping the property immaculate and unfortunately while maintaining the beauty of the grounds, some trees and shrubs are lightly trimmed down making natural sunlight harder to come in. It's OK

Didn't know it was sooo close to the highway and vehicular noise. We stayed two weeks and were not aware that we had to wash our bathroom towels or purchase toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, etc. when we ran out what was provided. Condo is ok for a short stay but not longer than one week.

Sweet condo with a pool and a beach

Aloha, We absolutely loved this condo. The proximity to the pool, beach, and coconut marketplace were fantastic. With the central location, we were able to visit waimea canyon, koloa town, hanapepe, kapa'a, and tunnels beach. The unit had a well stocked kitchen and everything we needed. We loved that the house had sliders with screens and we never had to use the a/c. The cooler and beach chairs were a huge plus. The laundry is in the building but you do have to pay for it, $2.50-ish per load. We loved our stay here and would stay here again. Mahalo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at this condo! I think the lighting in the photos doesn't show just how cute it is. The bathroom is gorgeous and the convenience is amazing (pool steps out the back door, beach just across the street and grocery story a short walk around the corner). We will definitely try to stay here again when visiting Kauai!

Old condo, sliding doors in poor condition hard to open or close. We had a handyman come out to repair disposal, he also removed trip hazard curled up worn out throw rug. We also noted, bathroom inner door lower hinge is not secured. Shower needs serious cleaning looks like blackened grout on walls. Light and fan in living room and bedroom have a show an unsightly amount of soil on the ceiling. AC units need cleaning and filters replaced the moldy odor is not going away until then.seamstress

Mom and Sons' 4-night Stay

Things we enjoyed/Positives: Fun decor, especially the bathroom and living room Great TV/Streaming set-up The supply of beach chairs and towels The treats that greeted us Responsive resolution to a clogged drain Close proximity to the Coconut Marketplace, the Island Country Market in particular Areas for improvement/negatives: The double beds are extremely "springy", not particularly comfortable Plantation Hale as a whole needs some TLC. It looks worn. The advertisement for the property touts the quick walk to the beach through the field. So yes, I was completely aware that it wasn't ocean front. To get to the beac directly across from Plantation Hale, we would have to pass through an unhoused encampment. I fully understand that unhoused doesn't equal "bad" or "menacing", but even one of the employees at Plantation Hale told us not to go through there in the evening/night.

Heaven at Plantation Hale

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely amazing property!! I would definitely stay here again!! Our flight arrived after 7PM at Lihue and by the time we got our rental, it was past 8PM at the property. Easy to find with GPS, no reception staff there that late, but security was at desk and registered us in and gave us our door cards with no problems. Beautiful condo, plenty of room for 2 adults. One bedroom with 2 full bed, great bathroom with separate toilet area, his and her sinks and walk in shower. Kitchen with all appliances needed including full size fridge (no ice maker though), toaster, blender, pots, pans, coffee maker and beautiful dishes (I absolutely loved the dishes with the beach themed designs). Lanai accessible by living room or bedroom and pool is literally 20 feet from doors. Laundry room in each building with great Speed Queen washers and dryers (2 of each) and extremely reasonable prices for washing clothes and even an app to notify you when your clothes are done. We stayed for 11 days and took part in horseback trail, plantation railway, doors-off helicopter tour, Smith Family Luau, visited the lighthouse, and a Na Pali coast boat tour. Drove up Waimea canyon road for beautiful views of the natural canyon. Coconut Marketplace within walking distance of condo with shops of all kinds of gifts and mementos. Overall the best vacation I have had my entire life!! I hope I get to go again.
