Mid-Island Charming Coastal Townhouse

Emmons Realty is proud to add #1 Gascgoine to our rental collection. The two-story townhouse is conveniently located mid-island with access to some of the islands finest restaurants such as Halyards, Tramici's and Delaney's, Redfern Shopping Center, and much more. The Coast Guard beach access is 2.5 miles away and the Village and Pier is located 2.8 miles away from the home. There is a deck that overlooks lush greenery and is adjacent to the Retreat Golf Course, a perfect spot for you to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

As you walk into the home there is a large galley kitchen to your right. The kitchen is well appointed with stainless steel appliances, a drip/k cup coffee machine, and a full-size washer and dryer unit. As you continue through the home, there is a dining table with seating for four, a living area with two sofas seating for six, a 42-inch TV, and a decorative fireplace. There is a half bath on the ground floor.

The second story of the home contains all three bedrooms. On your right, you will find the first bedroom with two twin beds, a 32-inch TV, and a closet.

The second bedroom has a full-sized bed, a 32-inch TV, and a closet. The first bathroom has a single vanity sink with a step-in tub/shower combo.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, 32-inch TV, and a closet. The ensuite bathroom has a single vanity sink and a walk-in shower.

There is a community pool located within the complex with enough space for lounging and relaxation. There is enough parking space for 2 cars in front of the townhome.

Every one of our properties is furnished with a “starter kit” of supplies so that you don't have to run to the store at the start of your vacation.

Cancellation Policy:
60+ days from arrival - 100% refund
31-60 days from arrival - 50% refund
0-30 days from arrival – 0% refund

Inside of 60 days, reservations cannot be rescheduled for any reason

Cancellations will be charged a $65 cancellation fee
(without exception, even for same-day cancellations)

To protect your vacation investment and avoid deposits lost to cancellation, Emmons Realty strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance.


Deposit Policy:
$500 will be charged to your card at the time of reservation, a deposit which will be applied directly to your rental cost. The remainder will be charged automatically, 30 days prior to your arrival. If you’ve contacted us through Homeaway or VRBO, you will be responsible for their additional fees. Our online calendar is updated automatically, and all quotes are accurate and include all fees. No refunds will be granted for early departure.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This 3 bedroom condo worked out well for us. There were a couple of glitches in the very beginning which were taken care of very quickly. Otherwise, it was all good. Great location: Shopping a 2 minute drive, beautiful Neptune Park with its pier and nearby Coast Guard beach each just 5 minutes away. Smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms. Easy access to a variety of good restaurants. We stuck with seafood for most of our dinner outings. And Jekyll Island with all its interesting history is just south of St. Simons; about a 20 minute drive. We would certainly recommend Gascoigne #1 to family and friends.

Island getaway
This property fit the needs of our family. It was clean, well laid out and decorated tastefully. Finding the place proved to be a challenge. It is on the edge of the road and the noise made it hard to rest (and the frogs in the water are pretty talkative!). The beds, all three rooms, are uncomfortable which meant most of us didnt rest well. They indicate that towels are provided. That is true but we had five, which meant i did laundry every day just to have bath towels. Aside from that, everything was as described.

Comfortable and clean, the complex itself is a bit dated but we were on the road a bit so it wasn't a big problem. The condo itself really fit our needs.it was for sale and an inspector needed access to the property but we were out that day and the company had worked with us because we had to arrive late so that was also no problem at all. Great realtor who were a phone call away at ALL times

Fantastic time! Wonderful place
Our family of 5 stayed here and it was just absolutely perfect for us. The bedrooms are comfy and a nice size and on the second floor so anyone still awake downstairs would not be bothering anyone trying to sleep. The master bedroom is also especially nice. The pool is nice and not too busy. There's a really cool little pond type thing across from the place and we saw tons of wildlife, including soe very large turtles. Everything you could need is nearby. The beach is a short trip, and many of the best local shopping and eating establishments on SSI are nearby. It's also extremely easy to go off island as well if you desire to at any time. Really can't say enough about our stay. we absolutely would come back.

1st time at St Simons
The townhouse was clean and convenient to everything St. Simons has to offer. It was plentifully stocked with kitchen supplies and towels. It was our family's first time visiting the area and i definitely plan on staying here again in the future.
