Chillax on the Beach or by the Bay!

Private beach on the Gulf. A community dock with bay access. This bayside condo was renovated in October 2023 and it provides you with everything you need for the best, most relaxing vacation ever.

The unit is a second-floor 2-bedroom condo located in a very quiet, well-maintained, beautifully landscaped, 30-unit condo complex on Manasota Key within walking distance to Englewood Beach.

Our unit includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and spacious living room. Bedrooms consist of a king bed (serta perfect sleeper -the only official mattress of the National Sleep Foundation engineered to help solve 5 common sleep problems) in the primary bedroom, 2 twin beds in the secondary bedroom (mattresses replaced 12/2021), and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Our condo has plentiful towels for the beach and bath, beach chairs, and other amenities to make your vacation as comfortable as possible.

We do our very best to decorate and maintain everything in clean, working order as this is a vacation destination for friends as well. We use what you use so the towels, cutlery, and place settings are all kept fresh and purchased specifically for the unit vs. hand-me-downs brought from home. For entertainment, there is basic cable, Netflix, and Roku on a 50" LED TV with high-speed internet so you can enjoy some evening couch time or have options to keep the kids entertained so you can relax on the screened-in balcony. Our friends live here too so we understand your needs.

There are also great restaurants, bars, and shops all within a 5-10-minute walk.

POST HURRICANE HELENE & MILTON UPDATE:
The condo was not damaged in either hurricane, but the Association grounds and buildings were. The hurricanes brought 4' to 5' surges, leaving a deep layer of sand, especially on the Gulf side. The pool was completely submerged, and the wooden decking floated off the foundation. In addition, the boardwalk and wooden decks on the Gulf side remain buried under several feet of sand and sections of vinyl siding were blown off most buildings. Much recovery work has been done; for example, the pool was repaired and is now open. All air conditioning units have been replaced since they were all submerged. However, there are still noticeable unfinished projects that will be completed soon. One thing remains: the beach is beautiful, and the sunsets are spectacular!

We had a wonderful relaxing time at this property! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, oil and spices, and there was a cart and beach chairs so we didn't have to bring our own! We loved having the doc on one side and the ocean and Beach just across the street. Highly recommend and we plan to stay again in the future!

Exceeded expectations

The condo was very nice and had everything we could need. The beds were comfortable and the kitchenware was in great condition. The area is still recovering from the hurricane but the beach is beautiful. I love this location with the best of both the bay side and the beach.

Perfect location

Perfect spot to be able to fish and enjoy the beach and pool. Short trip down to restaurants and stores and there is a golf cart shuttle local that will take you for a small donation. Couldā€™ve been a little bit cleaner like by the stove but overall a good stay.

Great place to get away

The condo was great! Had everything we needed and more. Whole family fit great in it. It was literally 250 steps from stairs to sand. Beach was great. Not crowded at all. Can't wait to go back!

We love Englewood beach and have been going there since 1971. Unit was clean and up to date with the times. Due to a lot of Hurricane damage to the whole area, there were parts of the outside still being repaired. Mainly cosmetic. Having a dock on the bayside and beach access are wonderful things to have. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Beautiful place to vacation

We have been coming to Manasota Key for 10 years and it is our favorite place to stay. We had always stayed in Bonita/Naples/Fort Myers until we found this beautiful place and we are never disappointed. We have stayed at Sunburst Condos a couple times and it is great for families. Nice pool area and access to both the ocean and bay is a major plus. We bring kayaks and fish and the dock and fish cleaning area are really nice. We had a fantastic time and no problems of any kind and will definitely stay again!!

House was very clean, location is great for pool and dock side. I personally hated walking across the main road with two 4 yr olds. The shower door would not stay closed and the only a/c vent that worked was in the primary. It blows straight at your face. But like I said it seemed to be the only one working.

Brit Invasion

Our family from the UK stayed here for our wedding on 4-24-24. Extremely clean, friendliness of the property owner was excellent, walking distance to everything, and a walk across the street is the beach. Beach chairs provided. We will recommend this property to all of our family and friends! Excellent communication and accommodating! I wish we could give it more than 5 stars.

Visiting Grandma

We were a big group. Myself, my husband, my two daughters and their 2 friends. We had plenty of space for everyone. The pool was right there. The beach is just a short walk and was beautiful. This is our second stay at these condos. First time for this one. So far we have had a great visit. They will be the first ones I check when going down to visit my grandmother.

This condo was just perfect. Plenty of room, clean, towels supplied, beach items available, and convenient to restaurants. When we first got to the condo, we could not find toilet paper. I reached out to Jim, and he got back almost immediately to let us know where them packs were stocked! Can not wait to go back! Thank you so much.

Relaxing and Wonderful Stay

We love Englewood and Manasota Key, and Sunburst is an amazing gulf to bay community. This unit is on the bay side (but still a short walk to the beach) and it's very calm and quiet. The pool is right by the bay and dock, and it is so relaxing. The unit is modern and clean with comfortable beds. Access to the unit was very easy via a keypad lock. Jim (property manager) is super communicative and handles any issues rapidly. The only issue we had during our stay was Hurricane Helene! Jim provided lots of helpful info, and we decided to evacuate, unfortunately cutting our vacation short. But Jim quickly refunded the days we missed. He's a great host, and we hope to be able to stay here again!

Our family loves Manasota Key and hunting for shark teeth on the beach. We bought this condo on the bayside to compliment the one we have on the gulf. The bayside seems to have a unique "chill" feeling that just lulls you into the whole laid-back feeling you get in Englewood. We love the fact you are within walking distance to great bars and restaurants frequented by the locals. And the short walk to a private section of the beach makes this condo very special.

If you want to people-watch, Englewood beach and park is a 5-minute walk or 0.2 miles away. Nature lovers will enjoy Stump Pass state park & beach which is 1.5 miles away. This is our family's favorite beach and one of the reasons we purchased on Manasota Key. Stump Pass is situated on the southernmost 1.2 miles of the Key and features a long hiking trail through the scrub and a quiet undeveloped beach. With very limited parking available you are guaranteed the most private, secluded, public beach experience in south-central Florida.

On your vacation, you will likely see dolphins and manatees, spectacular sunsets, and hear the calming sounds of the Gulf of Mexico on the private beach a short walk from the door.

Too much of the beach? Do what we do and take a break and relax by the heated pool or on the dock just outside the unit overlooking Lemon Bay, the intercoastal waterway. High-speed Internet access extends well outside the unit so you can get caught up on emails or surf the web while at the pool or the beach.

Enjoy fishing? If you don't want to charter a deep sea excursion at one of the local marinas or fish off the pier, just relax and fish off the private beach or bayside dock. It is all just a few steps away on private grounds.

There are also a number of great restaurants, bars, and shops all within a 5-10 minute walk. Many of these establishments feature live music and are also frequented by the locals so you know the quality of food and entertainment you can expect. Being within walking distance of restaurants, beaches, the pool, and the dock means you will go days without getting into your car for that relaxing resort-type atmosphere.
