Welcome to your perfect South Lake Tahoe getaway! Our fully stocked home is designed for comfort and convenience—ideal for families, couples, or a group of friends looking to relax and explore.

This spacious cabin comfortably sleeps 8 adults across two floors:

First Floor: Relax in the inviting living room, cook up meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and rest in one of two bedrooms—one with a king-size bed, the other with a queen. A full bathroom and laundry area are also on this level.

Second Floor: The master bedroom features a king-size bed and plenty of space to unwind. The adjacent bedroom includes one king bed and one full-size bed, perfect for families or extra guests. Another full bathroom is located upstairs for your convenience.

Start your mornings with a fresh cup of coffee or tea on the front deck while soaking in breathtaking views of the base of Heavenly Mountain—a sight you’ll never forget.

Whether you're here to ski, snowboard, hike, or just relax, this home places you minutes from it all. And after a day of adventure, come home and unwind in the private hot tub, surrounded by peaceful alpine beauty.

We booked this cozy cabin last minute for our daughter’s soccer tournament in Tahoe. The host was SO accommodating and sweet. The house was perfect- great amenities, clean, and a perfect location. The spa was great after a long day at the fields, with a beautiful view from the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed and the rainfall shower was an added bonus. Everything was awesome! Would definitely book this home again!

What a perfect stay we had. The cabin was perfect for our family. It was very clean and had a slight modern feel to it. They had all the essentials which is so nice. I brought a lot of it but sometimes we forget. Things such as: shampoo, conditioner, sandwich, baggies, foil, spices, games, etc. It would be awesome to stay here during the winter if you want to go to heavenly, you cross the street and are literally in the heavenly parking lot. The host was very friendly, communicative, and helpful. The price was great for what you got and would definitely come back.

Perfect winter cabin

Our family of five stayed at the cabin for two months this winter with small dog so that we could ski at Heavenly. The cabin is very well appointed and the host, Angela, was amazing and very responsive. We were super comfortable there and loved that we could walk to skiing, have all the comforts of downtown South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Village nearby and have a nice yard for the dog. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would l love to stay there again!

Cozy cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this well-stocked, cozy cabin. It has all the amenities we needed for an very comfortable extended stay, and the location was amazing! A very short walk to the lifts was the highlight for me. Modern bathrooms recently renovated, Jacuzzi, washer and dryer were all great but it was the little things that I appreciated. Like how well the owner communicated, the gas fireplace, as well as moisturizer and fully stocked cleaning supplies. I definitely will be recommending this place to my friends and family..

Cute cabin in quiet neighborhood.

We stayed here for a month to get some skiing in. The cabin is located within easy walking distance to Heavenly in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The house is extrememly well stocked with everything you would have at home. It was very clean, the gas fireplace is cozy and the hot tub is great.

Porras Ski Vacation

We were so impressed with all the amenities there on the property. We only had to buy our food, which is great because we arrived by plane. The cabin is so close to Heavenly mountain so you don't have to deal with the parking. Parking to ski is very limited, we were able to just drop the skiers. The neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful, the cabin is very cozy and warm. We loved the gas fireplace no wood to deal with. We would definitely rent this cabin again. Thank you, Angela

Perfect house for all ages! Amazing views

This house was amazing and perfect for our family. It was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals for the whole week. The hot tub was perfect to sit in and relax and enjoy the views. The backyard was fully fenced in and perfect for our dogs and little children. We will definitely be staying in this house again everything was perfect. Thank u so much for opening up ur house to us.

Summertime Getaway

Perfect cabin in Tahoe

This could not have been more perfect for our family's trip. We had four generations of our family getting together for the first time in almost two years. That and an unusual amount of snow in May had us spending more time than normal in the cabin. The photos here are an exact representation of the home, there were no surprises. The kitchen was well stocked, I had no problem making dinner our last night. The hot tub was great, even with the cooler than normal weather. The owner was super responsive as well. I have nothing but great things to say about this cabin.

Beautiful cabin to enjoy Heavenly!

Had a great time visiting Heavenly for the first time. Cabin is walking distance to the lifts and a great launching point for exploring south lake tahoe and the surrounding area. Nice and clean and everything went smoothly for our stay

Love this cabin

It was an amazing experience, this trip was our first trip with my family and I can said we had a blast!! We share all together in the cabin and we all love it we make a barbecue and we could seat all together in the dinning table it was amazing

Quaint cabin in walking distance to slopes. Hot tub was awesome after skiing! Cabin was spacious with 4 BR. It’s a drive or shuttle to the village. The shuttle was great from California Lodge to the village.

Yearly ski Trip Feb 14, 2020

Hi there, I am that the kind of a person that doesn't write reviews, however, I was compelled to write a comment on this property. I just wanted to say that the place was clean and in good condition. All amenities were find and the hot tube was great. We had an incident with the hot tub but the owner resolved it right of way. I and my 5 friends have been going on yearly ski trips all over out west, Canada and UE for over 35 yrs. We typically rent ski-in-out properties. We selected this particular property because it stated ski in-out. I would like to say that it was very disappointing to find out that the property certainly was NOT ski in-out. That is my only negative comment on this property. All in all we had a great ski vacation. The place was very comfortable and all 6 of us enjoyed sleeping on beds! I would have given a 5 star rating if the property was accurately represented as a ski in-out.

Cozy cabin in the woods!!

My family and I loved our stay at Angela's Gunbarrel Lodge. It felt like a cozy home away from home. We stayed for 4 nights and wanted to just move in it was so comfortable. The location is very Central and close to stores, Heavenly is right up th street in walking distance and the lake is within 2 miles. The neighborhood is perfect for walks whether with a dog or without. The WIFI was very fast for Zoom calls for me and my kids to be able to "work from home". The hot tub had an issue from a previous renter's stay but Angela stayed on top of it and we were able to enjoy it two nights of our stay. On the last night it snowed and we were able to play in the front and backyard in the snow. My teenagers and almost 2 year old loved it. We can't wait to come back next year!!

Perfect Tahoe Getaway

The property is awesome. Plenty of large beds and kitchen space. Nice for winter with the hot tub and lights on the deck as well as the fireplace. Easy communication with Angela and she was very nice and helpful! Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay!

We had the best time! We loved the cabin and the location. We went hiking, had some great dinners, and enjoyed the jacuzzi. The fireplace was very cozy! The best part was we could bring our dogs! They loved going on hikes with us and being out in nature. The backyard was great! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Angela was very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!

Comfortable clean house near everything

7 adults stayed here and had plenty of room. Clean, comfortable, well stocked with linens, towels, flatware, dishes etc. Had everything you could need. Great hosts too. Less than 5 minute drive to Everything. Will stay again. Thank you.

Our goal was to find a cabin that not only we would love and cherish but one that we could invite others to come stay at and create memories of their own. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

This property was absolutely perfect for what we wanted! When choosing a cabin in Tahoe you either want to be lakefront or close to a ski resort. I feel like we have the best of both worlds because we are right next to the California Lodge at Heavenly (literally a stones throw) but we are also under a mile to the Lake. We have the wildlife and mountain feel that we wanted but we can hop right down to the lake for a fun jet ski ride or lunch at Riva Grill; which we frequent often!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I think I covered it above but I will list a couple things that make our home special. 1) You can literally walk to the mountain within minutes, pop on your ski's or snowboard and begin your day! 2) Our front porch looks up at Gunbarrel for a breathtaking view to sip on coffee and/or cocktails. 3) Our cabin is backed up to the woods which gives you the opportunity to see wildlife from time to time (bears and coyotes). 4) You can stumble right over to the Himmel Haus for authentic German beer and food. 5) A very short drive to the lake, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, casinos and golf. Trust me.... you get the best of all worlds which is what we truly love!
