Pelican Beach is a beautiful 4BR/3.5BA private home nestled in the heart of West Beach in Gulf Shores. It's perfect for the whole family with beds for 15!! We got the littles covered with a pack-n-play, baby gate, and outlet covers! All of this within a 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants, & shopping! Don't forget the PRIVATE HEATED POOL...perfect for evening swims!



Bring the whole family...TONS of parking!



The Space:

The main floor holds two master suites, both with private bathrooms, king-sized beds, and smart TVs. These two masters share a deck with a view of Little Lagoon. Upstairs offers a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds - twin beds as the top bunks with full sized beds on the bottom - plus it houses a 2-player arcade game. The other upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and smart TV, and its own private deck with the BEST views of the Gulf of Mexico. The main living area is open to the kitchen and the dining room. There is a pull-out sofa, a pull-out love seat, and a recliner to enjoy the 50 inch smart tv. In-door dining table seats six with an additional 4 more seats at the kitchen island. Off the main living area is the back deck with an additional dining table that seats 6 and overlooks the pool.

Getting Around:

Free parking under the house and in the driveway for 8 cars or more!

Once you're parked, you can walk or bike to multiple restaurants and retail shops.



Other Things to Note:

The true GEM is the fully-covered, ground-level entertainment space - The Nest. With seating for 10+, corn hole, a gas grill, and an oversized hammock overlooking the private heated pool, The Nest is one-of-a-kind!

There is a heavy-duty beach caddie to make the 5-min walk to the beach even easier! Use it and keep it in good shape for the next guests!

We loved our stay! They had everything we could need… the owner stayed in contact and was quick to reply to any questions… the house was great! The pool area and nest/hang out area was amazing… 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be booking again!

Pelican Beach Perfection!

We loved this place! The hosts were great at communicating with us and the house was exactly what we needed for our first time in Gulf Shores. Comfy beds, lots of space, outdoor entertainment with umbrellas, wagons and toys for the beach.

We had a wonderful stay here! There was a total of 8 of us. We wanted to do something non-traditional for Christmas as we are from the north so we booked this with a “Grinchmas on the beach theme” in mind. The location was prime for family activities and a short distance from grocery stores and fun.The house was very clean and had plenty of space for us all to share. It is the “off season” so the heated pool was lovely and the quick walk to the beach was short and enjoyable as well. They provided plenty of pool toys, and beach equipment, free of charge. My kids enjoyed the sand toys and we used the beach chairs to enjoy the sunsets. There were two areas for family dining, one inside and one outside so it was nice to have the option. The kitchen came well equipped minus a pair of scissors which we left as a thank you gift! If you’re looking for a cozy, clean, and comfortable stay, this house was great! The host went above and beyond to accommodate and make communications easy. Even though we had packed one of our own, as a special unexpected touch, there was a Christmas tree already put up and decorated when we arrived! We thought this was so sweet and you can tell the host really cares that you enjoy your stay here.

Family Vacation

The house had plenty of space for our group of 14. The 3 1/2 bathrooms were a big plus. There was also beach toys, chairs, and 2 wagons to help with your walk to the beach.

Workcation

We throughly enjoyed our stay at your house. We don’t get to take a vacation like we won’t to so we turn our conference each year into a mini vacation. Beautiful home and all the amenities that we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for responding to any questions I had as promptly as you did. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

Awesome Vacation Spot

The house was a perfect spot for our family and friends Memorial Day weekend getaway. Close proximity to beach, restaurants and shops. Quiet street one block off the main road. We didn’t want to leave the patio and pool area! Sam was a great host, easily accessible and helpful with tons of suggestions. Can’t wait to go back!

Spring Break

Our family plus a friend stayed at the house over spring breaK. We had a great time, close to the beach and the pool was nice! The house was great plenty room for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms are great, and outside patios were amazing! There a few things need to be replaces, bur nothing major. We would definitely come back!

Amazing Property, Amazing Trip!

We had an amazing stay at Pelican Beach! The property was very well maintained and exactly as advertised! The pool was a welcome amenity and the selection of outside chairs, pool items, and wagon for the beach were great! The owners were welcoming, responsive and helpful. We truly enjoyed every minute of the time we spent at the home-both inside and out. Looking forward to a return trip very soon. Thank you, Sam and Robin!

Our family beach trip!

We had the most wonderful and delightful time at this house. It was all we ask for and more. We loved the 2 wagons to get our beach "stuff" down to beach. My grandson is a chef, so he was able to prepare huge meals for in the kitchen! The pool was lovely. I will consider staying there again. Loved the area because it was more family environment and away from so much tourist attractions. Hats off to our hostesses!

Beach Vacation

The property is in a perfect location. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 3 minute walk from a convenience store, restaurant and seafood market. The property is extremely well maintained and my kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We needed a few minor items during our stay and the property owner/manager, Sam, was immediately responsive and provided the needed items. He is a class act and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from him again. Thanks for a wonderful vacation experience!

A relaxing beach stay

We had a wonderful time here. We visited at the end of February. The pool was heated, a little chilly, but was very nice, especially after a dip in the cold ocean. We spent a full day just hanging by the pool. The house was clean and inviting. We celebrated my boys 10th birthday. Spent a day at Tropic Falls as well. It seemed to be the perfect time to visit the area. Crowds were minimal, weather was still warm when the sun was shining. The property itself was amazing! We would absolutely stay here again!

Gulf Shores Spring Break 2024

Sam is a wonderful host. Great communication before, during, and after. The house is beautiful, the pool perfect, and the location is amazing. A short walk to the beach, restaurants, convenient store, ice cream, shopping, etc. The house has everything you need! Beach toys, chairs, games, etc. We had three families, and the kid room upstairs couldn't have been more perfect. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone for a perfect beach getaway.

Perfect in every way!

The booking process was easy, efficient, and prompt. Pelican Beach House is just as it appears on booking site. Just lovely! Beachy decor… love! Great location to beach…5 minute walk. Backyard pool with a privacy fence is an extra bonus. Downstairs patio as well as uppers level patios. Well equipped with everything one might need. The hosts were so responsive and friendly. Superhosts in every way. Will be back! Becky

Pelican House

My family of 10 (5 adults and 5 children) had a wonderful time at Pelican House. The house was perfect for us in many ways: number of bedrooms, sizes of beds, number of bathrooms, the pool, etc. The pool was enjoyed by all and the walk to the beach was just the right distance! We loved that the house offered the Ms. PacMan game in the kids room, which kept them occupied when at the house, as well as the beach/pool toys, beach chairs, and 2 beach wagons to haul all our stuff to and from the beach! (Most of the houses I looked at didn't offer all these extras.) Sam is a very responsive, friendly host! If we are back in that area, we will definitely stay there again!

Peachy pelican vacay

The Pelican beach house was wonderful. Top notch cleanliness, amenities were as listed. Kitchen easy to maneveur in with essestial cooking needs. Plenty of dishes and silverware. Dishwasher to die for. Gas grill and utensils were great for grilling. Wonderful use of space. Shelves and more shelves for storage. Decor lovely and tasteful. All slept well. Kids room just right. Great showers. Towels and wash cloths not the thin ones. Nice! The host had a great welcome bundle to get you started. The nest and pool area were a great hit. Theres plenty of beach toys and chairs of varying sizes left there. You can go through the beach stuff and see if you want to borrow for beach play. The wagon was a big help for getting stuff to beach. Walk to beach about 5 minutes. Host very considerate and helpful. Family loved the Pelican and would love to stay again. Thanks for the memories!

Great Vacation Spot

Property was great. The house was clean, rhe pool was clean. Check in and check out were easy. Host was great at replying to messages! Great place would recommend! My only suggestions would be to make sure the couches were cleaned, when we pulled out the beds crumbs came out too. (No access to a vacuum, so we swept it up) The pools lights were not working due to electrical issue which made night swims impossible due to the darkness of the pool and area. The "nest" area was a mess, and very dirty, same with the outdoor couch, could have been because of weather. Also a lot of the floats, boards, etc were torn and broken. (Not a big deal for us, we just bought our own) Just very minor things, would still highly recommend!

Great location with contemporary feel

We had a great 3 night stay here in Gulf Shores. The property is clean, updated, plenty of parking, and only a short walk from the beach. The amenities provided such as the wagon for the walk to the beach, cornhole boards, and the carport communal area was the icing on the cake that made the trip that much easier and memorable. The beach location is a little more open with plenty of space available as it is a handful blocks away from the high rises. If I were to request one thing, accent lighting such as solar lights on the fence around the pool or a flood light for the pool area would be a great touch. Overall, a great home with plenty of space in a favorable location. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had! Thank you
