Beauty and the Beach!

With a pool gazebo added, La Salamandre was built and decorated in traditional West Indian style. This charming island hideaway provides maximum privacy, for one couple or two, or a small family getaway.

Le Salamandre is comprised of 2 bedrooms with an ensuite bath, a spacious living room, two intimate dining areas, and a kitchen with all the modern amenities. Enjoy the screened veranda or lounge poolside on the patio or the newly built gazebo. A minute walk (or less) away, sip your favorite libation as you relax with your toes in the soft sandy beach.

Nestled in the heart of the private Leeward community, Salamandre is just minutes away from pristine twelve-mile Grace Bay Beach and Grace Bay Road, the main tourist hot spot of Provo, where most restaurants, nightlife, tennis, golf, casino and shops are located.

The beach at La Salamandre is the perfect place to relax and take in the tropical sun in luxurious privacy, with chairs and loungers - great for relaxation and tanning.

Our stay was great!! We loved the house - the beds were comfortable, the place was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked and we had plenty of fresh towels. The pool was perfect for our little family but it was shaded in the afternoon so it stayed pretty cold. We ended up spending more time at the beach than anything else which was just a short walk down a path by the main house. The water was crystal clear and we even saw sea turtles swimming by on multiple occasions. The beach is on a main thoroughfare for boats, but the kids enjoyed the waves it created. Our area was a very desired area by tours and locals, but our beach kept very private! We highly recommend the family restaurant - Le Bouchon Du Village! Best meal on the island:)

Our hostess, Justine, is a new friend for life! She was so thoughtful and welcoming and friendly, and we truly enjoyed ataying in her beautiful home nestled in privacy with direct access to a calm and serene beach near the marina. The house, pool, landscaping- everything were amazing and exactly as described! We'll visit hopefully sooner than later- and often! Cheers to you and your family, Justine- wishing you a blessed and prosperous New Year!

Magical Paradise

My family (parents with 2 boys, 11 and 9) had an amazing stay. The location and house are fantastic, and the beach is unmatched (literally a 1 minute walk from the house). The property is beautiful, and Justine is responsive and friendly. My husband and I especially loved having coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening on the screened in porch while our kids enjoyed in the pool. Highly recommend booking a boat trip with Caicos Dream Tours...we did the snorkeling trip and it was great. Really can't recommend this property enough...we can't wait to go back!!

55th Birthday

This was the best place to celebrate my birthday. Justine and her family are just wonderful. We ate at their restaurant for my birthday and they made it a very special event. The house is perfect and has more than anyone would need for a great vacation. We will be back.

Ideal oasis

It was the perfect, relaxing getaway for our family of four. We loved how secluded it was and the option of a private pool or an almost private (gorgeous) beach that was steps away. When we needed some activity, we took a short car ride to the restaurants of Grace Bay. It was a trip we will never forget.

Peaceful!

Loved our stay. The house has a very peaceful vibe and the beach is to die for! Justine is so friendly and easy to communicate with. Loved the welcome rum punch and be sure to check out Rumeurs Boutique in town!

Fabulous place, fabulous location!

We loved our stay! Two teenagers and their parents truly enjoyed this gem. The location is wonderful: quiet, safe, private beach, pool, spacious, and well-equipped! We brought inflatable paddle boards and a kayak, which made crossing to mangroves and Iguana Island perfect. It's also close to the marina, where we boarded the ferry to North and Middle Caicos, as well as a boat for a fantastic snorkeling tour. Justine was extremely responsive and attentive to our needs. Everything was just as beautiful as the photos. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We cooked in the kitchen and enjoyed our meals on the screened-in porch. The very cute and sweet family dog, Memo, came by for some pets and scratches. We felt very welcomed. Overall, this is a great property in a fabulous location. We highly recommend staying here and would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for wonderful memories.

On Leeward, so peaceful and run into very few people yet close to all the conveniences of the island. Justine (and Memo!!) are fantastic hosts!

Beautiful beaches

La Salamandre was perfect for our week getaway. The beach was a few minutes walk down the path and was beautiful and for the most we were the only ones on it! The cottage was as pictured. Couple of notes: the AC works great! There are no condiments there, so make sure to bring with you.

Best short term vacation rental ever!!!

Turks & Caicos is a breathtaking island and this Villa made our birthday vacation the best ever! Justine is wonderful, attentive, and very helpful. The Villa (Le Salamandre) is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood (Leeward) that is in a very close driving distance to Grace Bay and all which that neighborhood offers (restaurants, shops, beach, etc). The Villa was immaculate and beautiful, well decorated, and had a fantastic layout. The two bedrooms each had their own bathrooms which made life so easy amongst the four of us. The screened in area was idea for meals, late night hanging out, and even allowed a great location for home massage therapists to give treatments. The kitchen was just the right size with all the amenities. We were even able to have a chef prepare us a gourmet meal in the kitchen. The pool was a great touch and the beach entrance on property was the most perfect private oasis for daily use. I’m already trying to plan a return vacation at Le Salamandre! Thanks Justine!!!

Would absolutely recommend!

My family and I had such an amazing stay. What an incredible house in such a great, safe location! Loved that we had a pool and the beach all to ourselves (along with Memo, what a great dog/companion for our beach walks)! We enjoyed renting a car so we could explore the island and check out all of the great restaurants. Would recommend this house and stay for all!

The most wonderful place!

We loved our first visit to the beautiful island of Providenciales, made all the better by Justine's wonderful property, her family's hospitality, and their most adorable little dog that visited daily. Justine's directions to the house were perfect, beginning with a suggested stop at the grocery store on the way. It's wise to pick up essentials to get the week started, and we would definitely recommend renting a car to take full advantage of the island from the Leeward Settlement area. It was truly an authentic island experience from the moment we arrived at La Salamandre! The house is in a beautiful setting and very private; the pictures and description are perfectly accurate. Without air conditioning in the main area it did get a little warm during the day, but the house is designed to maximize airflow with the fabulous porch, fans and island breeze. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms were all we needed for sleeping, adding to the comfort of the beds and rooms themselves, which were lovely! Having a private pool to enjoy was fabulous and the private beach is literally a 2 minute walk down a sanded path. The rest of the island is easily accessible by car. We enjoyed several great restaurants, our favorites being Cocovan, Somewhere Cafe (fun beach location) and Salt - this one is very close and we highly recommend! And do not miss their boutique store, Rumeurs - treasures to be had! We hope to return to Provo in the near future and would love to stay here again!

Spectacular cottage on the beach

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Private pool and beach! Amazing owner and staff! The walks along the Long Beach front were spectacular. The cottage is in a beautiful area close to everything and amenities were perfect for us! We will definitely return. Can’t say enough! We also used Caicos catering 3 nights for dinner! They prepare the food and delivered to the cottage hot and ready to eat! Amazing.

Best Vacation Ever !

Le Salamadra 2 Bedroom / 2 bath cottage located at 44B, Prince of Wales was exactly like we imagined! A spacious cottage with plenty of privacy, 18 x 10 ft private pool with gazebo for shade. It has a gated entrance with remote control, and our own private shaded beach / open deck located just steps away from the back door. It’s located around the corner from the main oceanfront / Emerald Beach. Justine welcomed us with helpful advice, tour, and refreshments! You have a local phone, fast internet, smart TV’s , AC unit, walk in closets, and ceiling fans in each bedroom. You also have very firm king size canopy beds and plenty of storage.The living room / kitchen / dining area is large with plenty of chairs to sit and relax. This area has large sliding screened doors that go out to the screened porch for extra relaxing or playing games. The screened porch goes out to the private deck / pool / gazebo. The property is beautiful and maintained by the great staff. IF you want a place with total privacy this is the best place in Provo. Due to the private homes on Emerald Beach / near Blue Haven Marina (just steps away on either side), the only people you see are owners / renters. We literally had the entire beach to ourselves to relax, watch the boats, and sleep. We will be back soon to make more memories!

Great little slice of heaven

My husband and I really enjoyed this space. It was so nice to have our own private pool and beach. It’s very hot inside the villa during the day but the AC in the room at night gets nice and cold! It makes you get out and enjoy the windy beach! It’s nice to have a rental car to explore the island. We ate at Da Conch Shack, pelican, and one night at the cave bar at the Rock House. That was such a cool experience. The sunset was stunning and they even had fireworks on the beach in view it was so nice! Highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back! Justine and her family are incredibly thoughtful and nice. No one was checking in right after us so they offered to let us stay and hang out until our flight. I was surprised at the lack of bugs in the villa. Being in the jungle, I thought we would see bugs dead and alive but didn’t have a problem inside at all! Just a friendly baby lizard that hung out by the sink. La Salamandre was the perfect tropical getaway! It’s gated and well lit and we both felt very safe the entire time. Thanks for a great stay!

Home in paradise!

Can’t speak highly enough of this property! We’re back home and already planning our next visit, this time longer! The house is very comfortable, decorated in a contemporary, pleasant way. The amenities are all there. The kitchen is well equipped. The pool area is so relaxing and very private. Location wise, it is in an upmarket community, sharing a large plot with the owners home too. But fully private. There is even a private beach to relax on! The host met us at the arrival time and offered us a welcome drink, and even started us out with drinks in the refrigerator! A lot of memories were made there! Thank you Justine!

Total relaxation

Wonderful host. Very relaxing and private. Absolutely love the private beach. We stayed on a business layover but both of us want to bring our wives back for a longer stay. Bring your own soaps. Baths had shampoo and conditioner but no soap. No big deal. I'll recommend this to all my friends as a secret getaway!

Daphne and Pierrik, long time French residents, are the owners of the famed Le Bouchon Du Village Restaurant in Grace Bay and Rumeurs Boutique in Caicos Cafe Plaza. They searched high and low looking for the perfect home, combining privacy and beach living. And they found their jewel, nestled in the Leeward community. The couple added La Salamandre, a very private cottage on their land, so that they can share their oasis with visitors to these shores. As well, these eco enthusiasts founded a bird sanctuary on their estate. The most beloved of these, is a Mollucan Cockatoo name Oli. Children and adults visiting over the years, have come back time after time just to enjoy his antics.
