Sea Cave is tucked into the hillside overlooking Coral Bay, Lagoon Pointe and portions of Johnsons Bay. Listen to the ocean waves below all day and take in the constant breezes and views from the covered deck. Recently remodeled complete interior and exterior. Host was good at responding, kitchen was stocked well for cooking, with bottled water and coffee for morning. Mattresses could use update or at least have a mattress pad. Hand towels need update as well, body towels were fine. A/C units could also have filters checked/cleaned. Overall was a great location.

Amazing private house

We had everything we needed and then some at this house! Incredible sunrise views and ocean waves seen/heard from the deck and bedrooms!! Absolutely loved our stay and hope to return some time soon!

Great Property!

What a great property! 4 in our party stay 4 nights. Nothing was left out from an air fryer to beach chairs. Appearance is much better than the photos. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay there again.

The house was beautiful, very clean and nicely updated and decorated. we enjoyed the views from the deck and the kitchen was beautiful to cook in. we were very happy with our stay and didn’t need anything

Sea Cave Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Cave during our vacation on St. John. The view is really nice with good breezes. Listening to the waves on Johnson Bay at night was very relaxing. The kitchen is beautifully redone and well appointed. It was great to have all the necessary kitchen products to prepare meals and salads. We were very comfortable during our stay and look forward to returning.

The host Kevin is super Kevin’s place is fabulous and he and his manager Theresa were wonderfully communicative and helpful. I was the first guest and they were working to make sure everything was just right, and it was. It is a lovely spot with a great view and sea breezes. The house is very comfortable. The kitchen is excellent. The shower is great. Parking is above the house (steps lead down to the house) along the local back road and very easy by St John standards. I am a long time visitor and loved the house, location, and proximity to Coral Bay. You will want a jeep or similar to get around. Coral Bay offers a small grocery store and restaurants and a few shops and it is a great location for heading out to all the different beaches. I hope to return!

Sea Cave in beautiful Coral Bay

The property had EVERYTHING needed for a wonderful stay. The pictures do not do justice of the lovely view from the deck where we ate breakfast everyday and hung out for cocktails later. The condo was very clean with updated kitchen, bath and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again! One note: you need to be able to climb several long flights of stairs to access the condo. Not unusual for places on the islands. Worth the trek!We loved the Coral Bay Area with local restaurants close by and wonderful snorkeling at Trunk Bay, Maho Bay (great shrimp tacos from the local food truck) and Francis Bay. We did not make Salt Pond but will on our return visit.

Great views and ocean breezes

Nice balcony with outdoor table overlooking a pond with lots of birds and the sea. Loved the ocean breeze and sounds of the sea. Kitchen is very functional and well-appointed for cooking and baking. Large bedroom opens to the balcony. The second bedroom is small. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. It was fun to walk up the road to see the views, look for birds and the red-footed tortoise.There are almost 30 steps down to the house and a step down from the kitchen to the living room so this house is not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues.

Very clean and recently updated private home with beautiful views of Coral Bay and BVI. Comfortable beds with new linens and large pillows. Kitchen had nice appliances and everything we needed during our stay. New washer and dryer if you are island hoping and need to do a load of laundry. Good free Wi-Fi for watching TV, using phones, or logging in to check on work. Nice size bathroom with large shower. Nice new deck for enjoying evenings listening to the ocean. House stayed cool at night with 2 AC units. Parking on side of street in front of house. Would recommend a Jeep or 4-wheel drive. Overall a great stay and would book again.

Pros and cons

The house seems new and is very well stocked. Comfortable beds and beautiful view. However we were not contacted with arrival information or directions. I reached out and finally got directions. We arrived at night with no way to get in the house when we finally got in touch with someone for a key code and got in we were treated with a horrible smell that seemed to get worse over our 5 night stay.

Staci, we have had over half a dozen people to the property trying to locate and identify a "smell". After speaking with you after your departure, you mentioned you had to wash your suitcases as they had the smell you were concerned about. Our best guess is that you rolled your suitcases through something or picked something up in a taxi or? You mentioned the smell was in the bedrooms and there's absolutely nothing that could smell in there. If you could give us a description of the "smell" that would help us to try to figure out what it is. We just aren't able to identify any type of scent or smell. We're glad you had a great time on St. John, and thank you for staying with us.

Beautiful home

I have been coming to St John most of my life and this is the first time staying in a VRBO. The house is very easy to get to, just off the main road in Coral Bay. There is only room to park one car in front of the house, but that's all we needed anyway. The house seems to be freshly remodeled and they did an incredible job. It feels like you're staying in a luxury home in the Caribbean as opposed to a Caribbean bungalow. The beds and the couch are very comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets, and the mini splits in the bedrooms make it comfortable to sleep in any weather. The appliances seem new and are very nice. The house is stocked with pretty much everything you could need/want so all you have to do is bring your loved ones and have a great trip. We will 100% be returning to this property.
