Wonderful place

We absolutely loved staying here! My daughter had stayed here and recommended it to us. The building is in a perfect location close to the ferry dock and the best beaches. The apartment itself is very spacious and well kept. Miriam greeted us when we arrived and was very responsive to all of our needs. I highly recommend this property and will definitely book it again in the future.

Casa Missy was in the perfect location that allowed us to walk to the beach and all the restaurants and shopping spots! Private pool was a bonus!

Always enjoy our stay

This is our third time staying at Casa Misy and second time in this specific apartment. It is close to everything including tons of restaurants, a grocery store and the beach. Although youā€™re in the bustling area, you still feel a bit secluded when in doors or hanging in the pool. Weā€™ll be back!

Overall good stay

No major issues with the unit, typical issues on the island with limited internet, wish there were more comfortable seating, location good if you want to be in the middle of the action. Place was clean, Miriam who met us and showed us the place was a welcome hostess.

Perfect location

I canā€™t say enough good things about the rental. The house is so spacious, the shower has both hot and cold water. Every thing was very clean. The location canā€™t be beat we were steps away from Hildago street. Reynaldo and Myerium were excellent to work with.

The stay was great, place was excellent, location was perfect!

Got to the island late, they met me there with a smile! The place was clean, had everything you would need. Clean drinking water, washer and dryer! The condo was super nice on 1st floor with its own pool. Met the rest of the tenants and we chilled out on 4th floor where there was another pool with a great view. Location couldn't be better. Everything very close. We loved our stay, and would highly recommend it.

Great location

Right in the middle of downtown; everything is within walking distance. Normally when we go to Isla we get a golf cart but didnā€™t have to by staying here. This place is close proximity to the ferry and the marina if you want to go on a fishing trip. If you get a chance go to the Tiny Gecko Bar, which is on the boardwalk, great guacamole, food and cheap beer. Restaurants, convenience stores and grocery stores are all within easy walking distance. Every time I made contact with the owner I received a response back within the hour and many times within minutes.

We all enjoyed the Casa Missy in Isla Mujeres. It was great having a full size frig. and a washer/dryer on site. We didn't have a single problem. The only downside was the dipping pool and patio never get any sunlight. And you can't see anything outside on the patio, but I'm not sure how that would be solved. We all enjoyed our stay there for the 2 weeks.

Perfect!

We had 3 nights here before heading to a resort. It is exactly what we wanted. We wanted walking distance to beach, restaurants, local spots and this gave us it all. Casa Misi was the exact local experience we wanted. The bedrooms were great size, with plenty of space in each. The outdoor area was small and quaint. Since we were there only a brief time we didnā€™t utilize it as we had hoped. Hidalgo street is so close! The coffee shop catty corner, Cafe Cito is great and the owners so kind. Their breakfast looked amazing too although we only had coffee. We did a golf cart tour around the Island and had so much fun. Picks you up right at your place. Would recommend and canā€™t wait until our next Isla trip.

Great location!

Great location just a block off Hidalgo, the walking avenue and center of activity. The flat could have been a little cleaner as the lamps and such were very dusty and the towels could have been a little newer. The furniture in the living room was not very comfortable for hanging out. The ā€œclubā€ next door was very loud, like the dj was in the room. Staying in centro, noise is to be expected, just wanted to Inform future renters. Loved it was a first floor location. Miriam was lovely greeting us and communicating. Great location for celebrating new years and being downtown.

Likes: Great location, in the heart of downtown. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Conveniently located with shops all around. Dislikes: Property condition really needs improvement. Needs major remodeling. House is not clean, mold on shower curtains. Toilet barely working. Bed sheets and towels needs to be replaced. Sofa chairs are uncomfortable, and accent pillows needs to be wash.

Nice location. Felt safe even leaving kids there for massages.nice locked gate. Several times we came home to people working on pool/pump problems without our knowledge. Few sanitation issues-could have had dish soap and a new sponge. It definitely wouldnā€™t cost much to make this property way better. The hosts were fine but this house needs cleaning. Begin by tossing out the dirty old throw pillows!!! Over all good enough but because it would be so easy for these hosts to correct things I am leaving this partially bad review. No disrespect just being honest for future renters.

The location is a TEN, but the accommodations....

Casa Misy is in a great location. A short walk will get you to the beach, ferry, shopping, and food. In the VRBO listing they use the word "new". There is nothing inside that has been replaced or painted in over 10 years. The interior has seen better days. We were lucky enough to have good weather and not have to spend much time seated inside. The couch is like a church pew with a thin homemade cushion and pillows. The clothes washer was unplugged so they knew it was not working prior to our arrival. This was not mentioned. Since we were staying for 7 days we used a laundry service. There is something up with the building plumbing. When we walked in there was a distinctive sewage smell. There is a piece of plywood covering a hole in the floor so you can listen to the building plumbing in use. We would stay here again for 2-3 days and then oddities may not have been so noticeable. Staying here for a week allowed or the flaws to become obvious. The pool was nice!

VRBO on Isla Mujeras

Our party was 6 adults. The host was very responsive to any questions. He responded promptly with though explanations. The check in process was flawless. We had communication with the onsite manager Mariam. She sent me a location pin and was waiting to show us in and how to work the lights, etc. There was filtered water for us to drink and then we could refill our water bottles for when we went out. The house is small but adequate. We werenā€™t there much as there is so much to do out and about. The mattresses were on the firm side which I liked but if you like a softer bed this may not be to your comfort. One of the couples has a sleep number bed home and found this mattress not at the right number! šŸ™ƒ For me I slept like a baby. Bath towels and beach towels provided. Washer and dryer worked well. The pool was a plus and we used it a couple of times. This location was minutes walk to the beautiful north beach. Shopping near by, good restaurants and a 7-10 minute walk to the ferry. Golf cart rentals close if you want to tour the island. I would definitely rent this location again.
