Den Laman apartments is a beautiful apartment complex right at the ocean with stunning views! Den Laman consists of a total of 16 beautifully modern furnished apartments and is very close to Kralendijk, Bonaireā€™s capital. All apartments are fully air-conditioned and ideal if youā€™re looking for privacy and independence. Den Laman is a great vacation property or Bonaire dive resort for those looking for oceanfront location with one of the easiest access to the beautiful underwater world right off your doorstep!

From Den Laman itā€™s only a short walk to some amazing restaurants and nightlife Bonaire has to offer, but you donā€™t have to go far as there is a restaurant on site with a terrace overlooking the beautiful Caribbean sea. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner and are host of the famous Wednesday Burger night!

This spacious one bedroom oceanfront condo is unique and beautifully located on the waterfront on the third floor.Ā 

The spacious private balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the stunning sunsets while sipping your cocktail! Your home made dinners can be prepared in the well equipped kitchen. The living room and bedroom have AC and ceiling fans.

Housekeeping will clean your apartment once per week. Beach towels are provided and fresh ones are available at the SunRentals office, where you are also welcome 6 days per week for any assistance. Thereā€™s a manager on call 24/7.

The on-site dive shop operated by Dive Friends and the restaurant Breeze & Bites makes this apartment complex a nice and cozy small dive resort. Absolutely Amazing Property

My wife and extended family just stayed at the Sunset Villa and we had an amazing time. The property is immaculate with a beautiful garden. It is situated in the most perfect spot where you have a wonderful dive and snorkel spot down a few stairs from the property. Thank you so much for a absolutely perfect Stay!

Perfect Dive Base camp

House was amazing, had everything you could imagine and more! Perfect spot to dive right out back door, with all the amenities to setup and break down gear. If you got a big group this is the place to be. Caught a firework show in the roof top one night, couldnt have picked a better spot!!

If youā€™re looking for a place to stay, a vehicle, and even a dive package, theyā€™re all too happy to make arrangements. Our trip to Bonaire was anything but simple, but they made it smooth and seamless. I would highly recommend SunRentals to the closest of friends for an absolutely perfect Bonaire vacation!

Wonderful Vacation

We had a great vacation at Bonaire Sunset Villa. This is our second stay at this house. Both times we have had 4 couples and weā€™ve always had plenty of room, nice accommodations, bedrooms are very private with their own private bathroom. There is parking for two cars. The kitchen has everything you need, modern appliances and plenty of room to work. The back porch area is large enough to seat a large group for a meal and also has a seating area. There is an area for washing diving/snorkeling equipment, hanging it up to dry, and lockers for securing it. The back yard is landscaped nicely with shaded areas for seating. There is a large table for meals right along the water as well as lounge chairs with pads and a hammock. And you canā€™t beat the view. Some of our best snorkeling this trip was right beyond the house including an octopus and a lionfish. There is a nice swimming pool with lounge chairs close by that we are permitted to use. Wifi and many TV stations including basic American networks (out of Miami) were available. Lamber, the owner, is very attentive to your needs. I canā€™t say enough about the place. I would highly recommend it.

Honeymoon with family on Bonaire

We came to Bonaire with a big part of our family (including our 18 month old child) and got married on Klein Bonaire. Actually the villa was just perfect for us: Lots of space for all people to sleep and recover, various possibilities for sun bathing and the ocean (and one of the best dive and snorkel sites of Bonaire) right in fron of the house. ('Cliff' is a really nice dive site with a smal cliff underwater, lots of morey eels and big tarpons that accompany divers while night diving. This also means that from time to time (not often, but regularily) other divers use the entry right in front of the villa's garden). We had a nice wedding ceremony on Klein Bonaire and afterwards we had a party with 10 people in the garden of the villa with a good catering service that was also partially organised by the owner of the villa. The place is also great for childreen, as the access to the ocean is separated by two fences (that still do not block the view to the sea). There also was a children's bed organised. As we had also three divers with us, I also have to mention that there are very nice storage and cleaning facilities for dive gear in the garden of the house and a filling station for Nitrox and air is only a 60 seconds walk away. For a night dive, you just walk out of the garden into the sea (and after the dive you just drop your gear into the cleaning bath and take your 'decompression beer' from the fridge ;-)). If you like lizards, birds or hermit crabs you'll find lots of them in the garden - we also had a short visits in the garden from iguanas and frogs. Overall perfect for divers and families. After our visit the owner asked us, what to do better in the house... well there was not much to say: it was just perfect for us.

Gorgeous and Relaxing Villa

My family had a wonderful time at the Sunset Villa. The location was perfect and the diving in the backyard was one of the best sites. Conveniently located next door to Dive Friends allowed us to go back & forth for snorkeling and scuba gear. Each room has an en suite bath which is nice for privacy. We traveled with our 83 year old father and oyr youngest was 14. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and would rebook in the future. Peter was very responsive when we had questions. Love this place!!

Awesome place to stay

We love Bonaire and have been 6 times. This was by far the nicest place we've stayed and most convenient. The dive shop was a quick walk away from the villa. One of the better dive sites was right out the back gate! Can't wait to return!

Can't imagine a better place and nicer host

This is a vacation rental that tops all vacation rentals. First, let me say a word about the owner and host Lamber- he is an extremely nice and generous person who really went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and special. We enjoyed meeting and interacting with him. The house itself is perfect- large, well-equipped house followed by a lovely garden and then down to the large palapa with a perfect view of the ocean. The house is also well-set up for diving with rinse tanks and lockers. The dive site (The Cliff) is right in front of the house and one of the best on Bonaire. You put it all together and it was a perfect vacation!

Absolute Perfection!!

Eight of us, 6 divers, 2 non-divers, had an absolutely wonderful week at this unbelievably beautiful house. We had to make a special effort to sit in all of the many lovely nooks and crannies of the botanical garden. Shore diving was a breeze. The owner responded to everything as soon as I hit the send button. The AC in the bedrooms was perfect. Great setup for diving. Nice location. Nothing but wonderful things to say. Hoping to come back next year.

Absolutely Perfect

This house is immaculate and more beautiful than the photos. The location is perfect, and in walking distance of a great restaurant. In addition to many excursions to dive sites across the island, we dove the reef out back every day. Every detail of how people function on vacation has been considered. We were 3 adult couples. With the double basins, the long bench, and an abundance of hooks and hangars, cleaning up after diving was a breeze. We had 4 people doing prep for dinners fitting easily in the kitchen which is stocked with every dish and tool imaginable. There are 2 gathering and eating spaces with plenty of room for 10 people. The fixtures and appliances are top of the line. 3/4 of the way through the stay Lamber asked if there is anything we could suggest to improve the place, and I couldn't think of a thing. We will be back and will probably invite another couple because there was so much space and convenience.

Heaven on earth

My husband, 5 year old daughter, mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law, and 1 year old niece and I enjoyed a wonderful stay on the property. The location was wonderful and we really enjoyed the restaurants which were within walking distance. We also enjoyed grilling out next to the ocean! We spent most of our time outside under the shade or sunbathing next to the sea. The snorkeling right off the steps of the property was amazing. Itā€™s also right off a dive site called The Cliff where my husband and I enjoyed a couple dives. It was a wonderful, relaxing trip and Lamber and Jacqueline were great hosts. They met us at the property where we all enjoyed a cold beer upon check in and they even had a flamingo and a turtle stuffed animal for the kiddos. They were so thoughtful. We love this island and loved our stay in the sunset villa. Canā€™t wait to come back ASAP!

Family Vacation in Bonaire

We had an absolutely wonderful and amazing first diving vacation in Bonaire. Celebrating the New Year with our 3 adult children, we reserved the Villa a year in advance. The pictures do not do the property justice - all rooms were clean, the bedrooms were equipped with comfortable beds and an appropriate sized bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil, pot, pan, and storage container you would need to prepare your meals. Lamber and Jacqueline were wonderful hosts. Sunset Villa is ideally located north of Kralendijk, which is a bit less crowded than the southern part of Bonaire, with direct entry to the water and the Cliff dive site. Although we dove at different sites around the island every day, we also spent most afternoons diving the Cliff and relaxing in the back yard well past the sunsets. When dining at the villa we ate all our meals outside to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We did utilize the air conditioning while sleeping but otherwise had the windows open all day and found the house was not uncomfortably hot. Coordinating the logistics of our first visit to Bonaire was easy and Lamber arranged for our rental car, night dive, and our equipment rental for the week. Lamber checked in with us often to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and provided excellent suggestions for the two nights we ate out and even made the reservations for our party of 5. In addition, to ensure we didn't get lost Lamber drove us to a local fish market so we could enjoy fresh caught Barracuda on our last night in the villa. Since we were visiting during the New Year Jacqueline made us some authentic Dutch pastries to enjoy on the 1st. This is truly a 5 star property, 5 star experience, and 5 star hosts. When we return to Bonaire we hope to stay here again.

This villa and owners go over and beyond expectations in all aspects. The cleanliness the decor the gardens and the hospitality! Kitchen is wonderful with excellent gas stove/oven ,side by side refrigerator, great dishwasher, everything you will need to cook if you so choose. Also convenient to multiple restaurants either to walk or drive. Our location was in the prime spot to have great access to diving and snorkeling both being steps away The view from our garden and outside area to watch sunset was fabulous!! The gardens were filled with gorgeous native flowers and colorful birds. We have already booked 2 weeks for next year. You will be exceptionally happy by staying here!

Fantastic place - great communication - exactly as advertised

This was our family's first trip to Bonaire so we had to rely on on-line research and reviews. We selected Sunset Villa because it was an ideal location, the right size and had good reviews. We had several email communications with Lamber and he was always responsive and helpful. He assisted us with transport, rental vehicles and dive equipment weeks before we arrived. When we arrived, all went smoothly! Lamber met us at the property upon our arrival, showed us around and even set us up with snacks! The house was great! It was stocked with an ice machine and coolers that we brought to dive sites, a place to clean and securely store our dive gear, several outstanding outdoor seating areas, and a great view of the water! One of the best dive sites on the island was literally steps away from the patio! Overall, we would recommend Sunset Villa and especially Lamber andwe plan to visit again!

Fantastic Stay

From the initial communication to checking out, everything was absolutely top notch and fantastic. The property is everything you could want. The gardens are beautiful, the house is clean and inviting, the attention to detail is amazing, and the dive facilities rivaled some of the hotels I've stayed at. We had 10 people and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. It is located in the perfect location on the island. Close to town without having to be in downtown. Thank you Lamber for all your hospitality. The only downside was having to leave.

We live on Bonaire since 2015 and in February 2020 we got the great opportunity to take over Sunrentals Bonaire. This well known rental agency on Bonaire (since 1999!), known for its outstanding and personal service, offers a great variety of vacation accommodations on Bonaire. From oceanfront apartments to luxury villas and group accommodations. We represent home owners from Europe, the USA and Canada and make sure their houses are in the best shape so you can enjoy it during your vacation!

Por que o anfitriĆ£o escolheu essa propriedade

Bonaire Sunset Villa was added to Sunrentals' portfolio in 2021 when the villa was sold. The previous owner was already renting out Sunset Villa for many years and had the pleasure of welcoming new and returning guests year after year. We are so happy to be the ones to meet all these returning guests now and we hope to welcome many new guests to enjoy this beautiful property!

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

We can arrange Stay, Drive and Dive packages for you. We closely work with the dive shop of Dive Friends, which is located on the resort just around the corner from Sunset Villa. We also have great deals on rentals cars for you, feel free to ask us for a quotation.

There is free wifi to stay in contact with your family and friends.

We have made an arrangement about using the swimming pool of the Hamlet Oasis resort which is just behind us. When you rent the villa you can use the swimming pool whenever you want.
