Great house with plenty of room for the family. It's 15-20 min away from so many fun activities, hikes and towns in the area, you cant go wrong.

The view is relaxing and the covered patio is perfect! Make sure to bring your swimsuit. The hot tub needs to be part of your daily routine. The house is an hour and 20 minute drive to Olympic National Park if you’re planning to hike… though there are lots of closer trails. Highly recommend Hook & Fork on Hood Canal if you’re up for the drive. The view is breathtaking and the oysters and crab are yum!

Great property. Quite roomy. However, the tide was out during the day leaving a dank view. The photo a bit inaccurate.

Thank you for your feedback and overall I am glad your enjoyed the property. Rocky Bay is a tidal bay, so the shoreline changes dramatically throughout the day with the tides. Many guests enjoy low tide for the abundant wildlife, including frequent eagle sightings and shorebirds. We include photos of both high and low tide in our listing so guests can see the bay in its natural changing conditions.

We had a fabulous weekend! The home was beautiful. View was wonderful. Communication was great! The house is close to the road so we thought it might be noisy but you can’t hear a sound inside the house. A wonderful oasis! I highly recommend this getaway.

We are glad we were able to offer you early check in at no additional charge. We are sorry that you did not indicate that you were bringing a pet and that our pet fee surprised you-- I called you personally to discuss. We also didn't react to you bringing other people onto the property, exceeding our occupancy level. We also didn't charge you for the broken table.

This was a lovely spot! All the necessities were there, the beds were comfy, and the grill fireplace were awesome. (We didn’t try the hot tub). There was also a small selection of DVDs and games which we enjoyed. Only small downsides were proximity to the road, flies gathering over the patio furniture, and some unsightly junk at the edge of the property (perhaps the neighbor’s?). We loved the bay view, though. Complete with eagle sightings and native blackberries. Would return!

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the bay views, comfortable beds, grill, fireplace, and the little extras like the games and DVDs. Eagle sightings and fresh blackberries are definitely some of our favorite parts of staying here too. We appreciate your feedback about the patio and surrounding area. Pros: Nice property. Lovely outdoor area. Mitchen is well stocked. Cons: The dishwasher is underpowered and several dishes needed to be rewashed by hand (even from previous guests).Overall, lovely time anf would stay again.

Beautiful House and Property

The house is lovely with a nicely appointed kitchen. The view from the hot tub in the morning is amazing. It was very relax8ng watching all the wildlife in the bay. The hosts were very quick in responding to any questions that we had.

Great place for a family

We had 6 people with us. The house was very clean, great location. Bedrooms are roomy and beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was a great bonus. Great views of Rocky Bay. Lots of eagles. Kitchen was well stocked. Living room and dining area was very open. Everyone had plenty of room.

External area is great, house is good, hottub worked well, no steps inside on in the entry area making it wheelchair accessible (no roll-in showers though). Not much to do around, and it's very close to the road so one of the rooms gets noisy in the morning.

We are glad you stayed with us. Our backyard set up is pretty nice- patio, hot tub and the house itself. We do have a road close to one of the bedrooms and at times you can hear cars.

Had a great time!

House was very big and open. Yard was very large as well! Most of the time spent was in the Hot tub and bbq-ing. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook except the food. Only complaint would be the WiFi was a little spotty. Otherwise we had a great time.
