Excellent location and very nice. The owner was very responsive to our needs. Landscaping has not been attended to but we saw lots of wildlife on the property.

Nice Place to Recover

We stayed here because our daughter had surgery. It was quiet and conveniently located. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and seeing the Christmas Lights on the harbor.

Great Location

This a very nice place in a great location. Nice view of the harbor and walking distance to food and drink. The unit is sparsely furnished, which is the reason for only giving it 4 stars. There is only a couch for the living room and is not comfortable for 3 adults. Another couch or a chair would be nice.

Winter visit

Prooert was okay. Spacious but a bit dated. A couple small things like dirty shower liner and a stained comforter. Upstairs was quiet for the mist part and wasnt an issue. A no frills place that is well located.

Perfect for our family of four

This worked out perfectly f or our family of four. My two boys stayed in the room with the two singles, and my wife and I in the other bedroom. They had plenty of space to move around, and it worked out well for us to visit with family in the area. A central location to visit from. The place was clean, and comfortable, and had the amenities we needed to make it a successful trip.

Great for Seniors

Except for 3 steps up to the deck, this house is great for seniors. We are in our 70ā€™s and 80ā€™s and found the hall bathroom with a higher toilet and walk in shower accommodating. Great location. Good parking. Fully equipped.

This property was more affordable compared to many in the area. It has simple decor and minimal flash. Still we enjoyed the space and everything we needed was available. This is a first floor apt so you will hear signs of life above you. This wasn't a problem for us. We would stay again. heahear

What luck! Same great place as last year

Property was just as described with all the amenities we needed. Location close to the Harbor including a view is perfect. We appreciated easy walk to watch the Turkey Trot which 4 members of our Gig Harbor family participated in. Proprietor is quick to respond to any questions and/or needs. FYI: Perfect for a family with kids. 1 queen plus Twin beds available for the kids who generally don't like to share a bed! Two full baths also a plus! Easy access for elderly family members.

Perfect location

This is our second time staying at this property, and it was just as enjoyable this time. Everything was clean, easy to find/use, and comfortable. Last time we visited, there were thick trees covering the driveway and entrance area, making it difficult to find easily. This time, those were all gone and it was much easier to find the driveway and see the road to turn out. Beautiful views of the harborā€¦this is a great spot. Jason is a very considerate and communicative host!

Peace in Washington's Most Tranquil Harbor

Jason was the perfect host for us. Helpful and quick to respond. Coffee made down the hill a quarter mile from the house every morning at Wildwood Waffles! On a perfect day, you could see the harbor in its many variations of clouds, rain, and sun from many places in the house. The house was perfect for us in everyway. Two showers, one with a tub, three beds, and a TV for your down time at night. The house, location, and views were all calming and serene. From Gig Harbor you had access to the whole peninsula to include Olympic National Park and a drive east to route toward Seattle or Mount Raineir National Park. Jason, we are coming back next summer and we plan to stay longer! <3

Our 2bedroom apartment is the the lover lever of home. It was very clean and neat with all the items needed for a good stay! Only thing we had wrong with the home is no tv remote!! The tv was hooked to antenna that did only have 2 channels that came in scrambled when we watched at night! We did not use the Tv that much. Fantastic location to jump off and do daily travels around the southern part of Seattle area, port towns, and Olympic National Park area! Gig harbor is a very beautiful area.

Great Price, Great Location, Super Loud If Someone Is In the Apartment Overhead

Overall this was a great place to stay and the best location for a wonderful price. Unfortunately the first of our 3 night stay someone was in the apartment overhead on the second floor and it sounds like a herd of elephants when they're even just walking around. They had a noise machine or fan or some such that made a lot of noise coming through the floor. This did not bother my wife and I am a very light sleeper. However, it was an awful night sleep that night and was very thankful they weren't there the next two nights. The owner was super helpful and the property was clean and like I said location is second to none with a view of the harbor and within easy walking distance as well.

Excellent location

Super easy check in process. Beautiful view, convenient location. Ground floor duplex was basic/dated but very clean & had everything ( plus some ) we needed. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again. A few minor things to noteā€¦ (these did not change my rating as they were minor & our most important needs were met). This is a ground floor apartment, every now & then you will hear your neighbors upstairs. It wasnā€™t disturbing, just something you notice. Pets were allowed, that was a must for us. But, when we arrived the house rules were confusing. They state ā€œGuests with pet must bring potty/toilet. Pet pooping/peeing on premises (floor, carpets, lawn etc) is prohibitedā€. At 1st I found this frustrating, my dog doesnā€™t have a potty/toilet. There is a nice little lawn, we always clean up after our dog. But, I walked her across the street (neighbors yard and public right away by sidewalk). Had the weather been bad or it not been as lit (street lights) I would have been concerned walking my pup off property by myself at night.All in all a great little place & weā€™ll definitely come back.

Gig Harbor Suite

This was a very safe, wonderful and convenient basement suite with a wonderful view of Gig Harbor. A short walk down the sidewalk gets you to a host of wonderful restaurants and shops. If you want a great breakfast, try Devoted Kiss (no reservations, but not too long of a wait on a weekday). A nice dinner can be found at Anthonyā€™s Homeport (they DO accept reservations, and Iā€™d recommend making some). Perfect since harbor parking is limited and usually full. The property was meticulously clean and very attractive inside. Thoughtful things like a stocked coffee/tea bar and some instant oatmeal ready on the counter, nice, quality utensils, dishes and cookware. Beds are comfortable with nice bedding, and plenty of fresh, clean towels and other washing amenities. I appreciated the extra pillows and en-suite master bath. Dedicated parking, but be aware that the driveway entrance is a bit narrow and easy to miss. My only complaint, which isnā€™t a complaint so much as something worth noting, is that the master bedroom seems to be directly below the main living space of the upstairs residents. So muffled noises like their TV, talking, and walking around can be heard. Itā€™s not disruptive, and they arenā€™t being intentionally loud, but they do seem to be awake/up at all hours. I could hear talking at late hours, after midnight, 4:30am, etc. So again, not a complaint but a minor annoyance that just comes with being on the bottom floor of an occupied residence.
