We really enjoyed ourselves during our stay. The host was easy to get a hold of. House was beautiful and plenty of room for every body. Just I was out of shape to be climbing up and down the little stairs that lead to the top. Beds were nice and comfy and enjoyed the chocolates that was left on the bed wait for our arrival. The alligator was cool at night to see. Was a nice birthday get away.

Our stay was wonderful. Everything you could need for a successful vacation was provided and the house was beautiful. The 2 docks were great for fishing and the view from the large living room windows was fantastic. Only 13 min from topsail beach. Riverview Cafe however not very good so I would suggest going elsewhere for a good seafood dinner.

Beautiful stay, picturesque home

We had a lovely stay in this Sneads Ferry home. The house has so much character, and is beautifully remodeled. A picturesque setting looking over the river and the fishing boats. Stephen and Teresa were excellent hosts! We are so grateful for a restful family time together in this retreat!

Hidden gem

This house is beautiful! The property is large and peaceful. It’s even better if you have a boat. Absolutely relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable!! We loved our visit here and will definitely be back!!

Great stay

Loved the cabin and the view of the intercostal waterway. Any issues were very minor and host made themselves available for concerns. The host actually left thoughtful treats for us upon our groups arrival.

The curb appeal landscaping needs some work. The sliding glass door to get into the house was difficult to open due. The sliding glass door bottom track need some attention. The rear porch has a working sink and a Coca-Cola cooler for use, but both were filthy, if you wanted to use them you’re gonna have to clean them. The kitchen has an ant problem. The third level loft has two beds, and the mattresses are extremely uncomfortable & thin. One of the guest that initially was bunking up there went outside and slept in his truck for two nights, maybe a child would be OK up there. It is a pretty cool unique house on a nice location, but it’s actually only two bedrooms with a second level open loft and a third level open loft, rather than the description expressing four bedrooms. I rated it four stars on a stretch because me and my wife was the only couple and the rest were all men that were happy with a porch to hang out on and lay their head down at night to get some sleep.

Saying Goodbye

My daughter, son in law and two of my stepsons and their wives spent a long weekend in Sneads Ferry to meet with some of my late husband’s Recon Marine friends and spread his ashes. The house was a perfect place for us to relax together. We loved the views and enjoyed the pie and fresh eggs left for us by the host. The house was well stocked with anything we needed and it was a bonus that it was so close to one of the gates for Lejeune. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Our Family Weekend Getaway

Our family did a last minute get away weekend for my Birthday. We had a wonderful vacation. The view from the house was breathtaking out of every window. One day, it rained and we still had a wonderful experience, just enjoying the view by the fireplace from the living room and master bedroom. Our teenagers enjoyed the games provided. The local seafood and beaches are lovely! Our host even welcomed me with a Birthday cake. It was handicapped accessible on the main floor.The house was very clean and made us feel right at home. Honestly, the best Vrbo we have ever stayed at!

Wonderful stay in Sneads Ferry

My husband and I stayed here for Labor Day. Our daughter is 8 months old, so this was her first beach trip. The house is beautifully updated with high end finishes. We loved watching the boats go in and out of the marina. We also saw so many birds. We didn’t fish, but we saw lots of fish jumping in the water. Our 2 pups joined us and they enjoyed the ample yard space. Host was quickly responsive to questions. We had an amazing stay. I just can't say enough about this beautiful house and property. We went to Topsail one day, a very short drive. Thank you Stephen for a memorable trip!
