Beach Club Cottage 28 - Great Stay

This cottage exceeded our expectations. It looked beautiful in pictures, and it was even better in person. The hosts checked in and responded immediately to any questions we had. It was a great place to stay and a great place to vacation.

Fantastic Cottage & Property!!!

We loved it did not like we didn’t have access to the resorts pools without paying and the kitchen could use more serving bowls but other than that we loved it felt safe.

Loved every minute of our stay in cottage 28! We didn’t mind the rain on one of our days since the others were perfect! Can’t wait to go back!

Cozy and comfortable

Very comfortable for family of four. Condo was clean and had everything we needed! Loved the private pool and walking trail right behind the condo. Would definitely book again!

Fall Break

We stayed 5 days at cottage 28 and it was amazing. We are going to try and make it a yearly thing. Our only complaint was the pillows( easy fix). Thanks for sharing the place. The rental company was fantastic and quick to help.

Wonderful Cottage

We were very pleased with the cottage at the Beach Club. There was room to spread out, the space is beautifully decorated, and there is a private parking spot. The beach is just a short walk across the parking lot and there is a nice walking path behind the property. We worked with Beachball Properties as the management company and they were super helpful with any questions or issues we had. We will be staying there again!

As described. Very clean. Walking distance from the beach and the pool was awesome to jump in to cool off after the beach.

Awesome Beach Cottage

Beachball Properties was simple to deal with for scheduling and sending us the door code, which was really nice. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need… kitchen accessories, blankets for the sofa, and great TV channels. The master bed and pillows were absolutely dreamy as was the covered patio next to the private pool which was perfect for morning coffee. We are so happy to have found this property and will be back!

Stayed here for the second time.....Amazing views, simply gorgeous. Tucked into a jungle mountainside, so plenty of privacy. Great breeze, great pool and rooms are spread out and private. All the kitchen amenities you need. AC in all rooms including the common areas. Plenty of parking. Easy access to all the North shore beaches and Midway grocery. Nellie and owner both very responsive to any issues (though there are rarely any issues, minor if there are)Thanks again for a great stay, see you again next year :)

The house was beautiful and clean. The pool was not working or cleaned when we arrived. After traveling all day we really just wanted to go for a swim. It was all resolved by the next day. The grounds and resort were beautiful and the path behind our rental was a wonderful bonus. The only room that had issues were in the kitchen. We took photos of damaged things and submitted to the booking agency. They promptly resolved the problems they could. We celebrated my 70th birthday and 52nd wedding anniversary at this beautiful home.Thank you Breachball and VRBO for being so great!

Loved every minute of our stay!

We had a great experience renting this property. We will certainly be back! The location of the cottage is very easily accessible to the beach, clubhouse, and the market/restaurant at the front of the property. We took MANY walks on the trail behind our cottage to see the turtles and baby alligators with our son. He loved seeing all the wildlife on the beautiful walking trail. We ate lunch and dinner at the Hideaway Grill countless times. We never had a bad meal! Our cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. The master closet was a perfect size to comfortably fit a pack-n-play It was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool every day!

Beautiful, private and quiet!

We had a wonderful stay at Cottage 28! We loved the proximity to the beach and clubhouse pool but enjoyed the private pool as well. The outdoor grill and patio are a huge plus for our group. Everything is beautifully decorated and cozy! We had 7 adults (parents and college teens) so we had to utilize both pull out couches. We may end up renting one with a third bedroom next time but even so we had plenty of room. I would suggest adding a small stash of cleaning supplies and a new broom just to keep things tidy day to day but other than that we had everything we needed. I left a note on the fridge to make the back doors easier to lock. This is a beautiful, quiet and updated property for a group of 4-6. I think it would be perfect for a family with younger children because of the pool and private outdoor area. Thank you for a wonderful week!

NIce Location and Beach House

We did not know what to expect, as this was our first beach house rental in Gulf Shores and on a resort. Getting to the beach house on the resort is pretty easy, as it is in a gated community. The house's location within the neighborhood is off the beaten track and close to the beach. Our first impression of the house was that it was clean and well-maintained. The amenities that came with the house were very comfy. The management company (Beachball Properties) was very responsive to some minor requests and had our inquiries resolved by the next day. The pool was just the size for relaxing after a hot beach day, and our kids loved it. We also enjoyed being in a well-maintained resort with extra perks, such as food and a few shops within walking distance. There was one factor I would like to mention when accessing a resort beach. There were rules on where to place your cabanas or umbrellas if you were not renting the resort's chairs and umbrellas. Although some may like this feature if you choose not to bring beach equipment, for us we bought a new cabana for this trip and could only set it up in the designated cabana area (in the back of the beach). It was also strictly enforced, with resort workers making folks move their cabana if they did not set it up in the right location. I only mention this because we have young kids and prefer to watch them in the ocean from our cabana, but we are unable to, given the rules of the resort.

BEACHBALL MANAGEMENT HORRIBLE: Property Great

BEWARE if you are considering renting from Beachball Properties! We rented a cottage in the Beach Club Resort in Ft. Morgan, Al for 7 nights (it was just a few minute walk to the beach, had a private pool, and 2 bedrooms). We rented for the private pool with shade for our daughter who has severe Crohn’s and her meds require her to be in the shade. It unfortunately flooded due to a water line break our third day there (Saturday) Beachball told us their ONLY available place was the Hideaway Bay (3 bedroom, no pool, no beach access, on the bay). They said this was an upgrade and would only give us $139 refund even though this “upgrade” rents for $1,000 less a week. We accepted this as emergency shelter that night and had asked upper management call us back the next day, but since Easter was the next day we had to wait until Monday before anyone that could do anything would call us back. When we finally got ahold of upper management they offered the $139 refund plus another $140ish, we asked to speak to someone higher than that. We spoke with someone who was higher up because we had found when looking at their website that they had other properties but that were of higher quality that they just didn’t want to give us. They said they could only give us equal or lesser quality even though we were put out on our vacation and spent several hours packing, moving and had items damaged in the flood. He said he’d call us back with what he could offer us. It was $139 plus $417.70 which d
