Peak season rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Off season (Nov to mid May) long weekend options and shorter stays available. This spacious 5BR beachfront duplex unit is ideal for the large family, and offers over 2000 SF of living space, larger than most comparable Southend rental options. This elevated mid level unit has nice furnishings and fantastic upgrades. Features include 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, Elevator, gas fireplace, hardwood floors, large covered deck across the ocean side with teak rockers. Small private decks off the master BR and back corner BR. Beautiful open floor plan kitchen, fully stocked with all cooking items that you would expect in your own home, and gas range. Big kitchen center island to gather around and socialize, while enjoying the ocean views. Dining room seating for 11 people. The Kitchen, LR, and DR all have big ocean and beach views extending all the way north to the Atlantic City skyline. Off street parking with garage and up to 2 additional spots. Enclosed cabana shower room just off the beach. Weber grill. Beach tags included during peak season. Direct access to the large Southend beach just over the mid block walkway in front of the home.
Optional in-house linen services also available upon request at small additional cost.

Family vacation

An excellent property. Easily accommodated our family of 10 of all ages. View from the deck is priceless. The location is outstanding, easy to get to all parts of the island.

Great view

This place had an amazing view and was in a great part of town. We really enjoyed staying there! The property manager was easy to communicate with as well. The only con was that there were little gnats all over the kitchen and dining area and bathrooms. With that said, we would still stay there again!

The property was very nice, clean, and comfortable. It had a great beachfront view. The owner provided tons of information in advance about the area and checked in via text to make sure we were comfortable. It was one of the best rentals we have used

Wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved the location right on the beach! Awesome porch to drink coffee on in the morning & watch the full moon rise over the ocean in the evening. House was spacious, clean & well stocked. Minor glitch at checkin but worked out just fine. Would definitely go back!

Great location/view

The place is fairly spacious and has great front porch view of the ocean. The beach is only a few steps away. Place was clean and host was responsive. Be aware you need to rent linens for an additional fee, and host didn't provide hand soap/toilet paper in some of the bathrooms.

Stunning Beachfront Home

Our stay at this home was outstanding. The property itself is beautiful and the views of the beach are stunning. Every detail for your comfort has been considered and the home was immaculate when we arrived. The kitchen is very well stocked, we were able to make meals with ease and enjoyed the open floor plan. Communication with Scott was great, he was responsive and provided all of the information we needed for a great stay. I am very hopeful we can return again next year as we enjoyed our stay so much.

Wonderful getaway

My family of 9 enjoyed our stay in OC! The house was immaculate and very well appointed. Well stocked kitchen. Access to the beach was top notch as well and the owner's recommendation to get a beach wheel chair buggy for our elderly grandmother was a real game changer. If you have someone that finds it challenging to walk on the beach over a distance, the town of OC has wheelchair buggies that you may rent for free, make it possible for them to get down to the water. Really appreciate the recommendation. Would rent this home again.

Lovely Location…

Location was perfect. The layout for privacy with four adults, was excellent. We had our own bathrooms and privacy. The elevator was fantastic! The kitchen was equipped and very comfortable. The only hold back to the trip was that we didn’t realize that there was a condominium above us. The noise from above when the people were there was, distractive, more than just footsteps and opening and closing doors. The owner was very attentive and receptive to our concerns. The owner’s management of the situation was exceptional to our needs. We would definitely go back to this location.

Nice family time

This property was very nice but I didn’t notice in the description that it was a duplex. That normally would not been ideal for us but the unit above us only had one gentleman occupying it so the noise was minimal. The positives of the property were that it was very clean, it had 3 bathrooms, it was oceanfront, it was roomy, and it had an elevator which was necessary for my handicapped husband. The owner and his sister who was the property manager were very accessible and helpful. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing time in Ocean City and the weather was exceptional!

What a view!

We took a winter vacation at this house, and it was just lovely. The house is really right on the beach and the views are spectacular. The house is big and cozy and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. A few things to note if you are staying here: 1. The property manager sent us a contract 2 days before we got there and asked for another security deposit. We did not ultimately give over more money, but it was stressful right before we left on vacation. 2. In that same email we were told that there were no linens or towels provided. When you have 7 beds of varying sizes, that’s a lot of linens to quickly gather right before everyone leaves. So think about that well before you get the email. Also all those towels (we had 10 people) also take up a lot of extra room, especially if people are flying. 3. If you’re there in the winter, the heating is a bit tricky. The beach side of the house gets way warmer than the street side, and the thermostat is located on the beach side. So this meant that the street side rooms were always pretty cold. Other than that, this house is really lovely and especially good if you are traveling with people who need an accessible home. The elevator is a huge plus! We would come back for sure.

Glad that you enjoyed your stay. As to your situation with the security deposit, we typically use a credit card "hold" on all our rentals to prevent guests from having to purchase the damage protection policy (thus saving our guests $$). Regarding linens, this is something that is common in Ocean City, where linens are not included with rentals, however, we do offer an optional full linen service for future reference. Thanks again. We had a wonderful week with our family at this property. The proximity to the beach, size, amenities, and proactive and responsive communication with the owner during our stay were exceptional. To be clear: this unit is on a floor below another unit. There is a line on VRBO stating this and we missed that. We thought side by side duplex. That's on us. The price we paid was higher than we've ever paid for a beach house. We thought we were ocean front, with top floor views of the ocean and potentially bayside sunsets. It wasn't until just a few days before our stay that we were clearly made aware that we would have upstairs neighbors, We heard feet running up and down the halls and furniture scraping above us all week and our views weren't what we'd anticipated. There are beach chairs at the property, which is not in the listing, fyi. When I messaged the owner asking about beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards to see if we needed to bring those [we were traveling from Texas] he never responded to that inquiry. Again, during our stay communication was exceptional. We had issues with the elevator which we had counted on for our 92 year old father. I followed the very clearly provided instructions faithfully, but it didn't work for us. It's operation is dependent on the other tenants and you having all the doors etc just so. Owner checked it out: it worked for him.I would absolutely recommend this property if you don't mind being on the middle floor.

Pre Summer Getaway

My family and I (10 of us, kids, spouses, grandkids) needed a long weekend getaway and my wife found this house on VRBO. It is a great house with a great location. Scott was very responsive to any questions/requests. Only thing bad was the weather but we made the best of it hanging out and playing games. Pretty cool watching the storm and waves looking out at the ocean. Would definitely recommend.

Rare find! Perfect house for a person with mobility difficulties.

This home was everything we could have asked for. My mother came with us for her first trip to the beach in years, due to her being wheelchair bound. The elevator was perfect for our needs, the layout was spacious enough that she could maneuver through the whole home, and the balcony let her enjoy the ocean at any time. The homeowner was very responsive, the home was very clean and the well stocked. We had thanksgiving there and had everything we needed to cook the meal. Every single bed was comfortable and the master was like a little oasis for us. Everything was wonderful and up to date! We will certainly be returning, as the house fit our family’s specific needs perfectly! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay :)

Spectacular Views

The house was so comfortable and clean with incredible ocean views. We saw dolphins and a red fox and there were butterflies and bunny rabbits right on the beach. The sound of the waves an night lulled us to sleep. Being on the beach in October was perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. We were welcomed with a fabulous bottle of wine and cookies! The best ocean front Ive stayed in so far!! LOVED IT

A great property for families self contained and open for least entertaining. Short walk to the beach.. Our first trip to the Jersey shore, but we will be back!
