This private, smoke-free, beautifully decorated Southwinds two bedroom condo with balcony is a nicely secluded oceanfront property. A full kitchen with access to all appliances for cooking including cookware, dinnerware and utensils. All linens and bath towels provided. Property amenities include two pools, private beach access, outdoor grill and picnic areas. Laundry facilities and outdoor showers and restroom located at pool areas. Second floor unit (stairs, no elavator) with ocean views from bedrooms and balcony. Fort Macon State Park, restaurants, shopping, fishing, etc are all within minutes. Unit was decorated nicely, plenty of extra blankets if they were needed. The kitchen table as cute as it is, is not meant to be used by tall persons we bang our knees on the sides of the table! The house cleaning company needs to do a deeper vacuum on floors, baseboards, lots of accumulation of hair and dust. The commodes were sort of cleaned. the bowl was but not the outside, if you live with men you what I mean. The target is not always hit!! Its a lovely place that we really enjoyed! Thank you!

This is our favorite condo at Southwinds! Very roomy, super clean and loved that it had a minimalist beachy decor. I hate when rentals are overly decorated and cluttered, so this was awesome. We loved that it had 2 large couches and 2 comfy chairs. Plenty of seating which many condos lack. THE BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE. My husband has a bad back and never sleeps well on vacation. We were all shocked at how great the beds were. This alone means we will book them a next year. South winds is a great property. Right on the beach so you don’t have to drive. Plus there are 2 8-ft pools. The property has a guard shack and was quiet and safe. Close to Beaufort and radio beach. Great condo and we will be back.

Just Right

Easy check in, easy parking, everything was clean. Perfect for a couple of 8 year olds. Go to the beach, waves get to be too much, hose down and jump in the pool. Quick response times from the owner.

Family Vacation- 10/10 recommend

We absolutely loved this condo! We've stayed at Southwinds for the past four years, and this was by far the best one yet. Everything was so clean, beautifully maintained, and just steps away from the pool and beach—it couldn’t have been more perfect. Monica was amazing to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. She made everything so easy and stress-free. We felt so relaxed and at home here, and we’re already looking forward to booking this same place again next year. Highly recommend—it was truly wonderful!

Excellent Location & Unit

We just got back from a great stay at Southwinds! This complex is so well-maintained and has two pools and easy access to the beach. The unit was perfect - everything we needed, and it felt like home to me, my husband, and our five year old. It was super easy to communicate with Monica. We would absolutely stay again!

A week with hurricane Debby

Even with the rain during our week, we were able to enjoy some beach and water time. On the rainy days, the aquarium and Mac Daddy’s were entertainment for the “tweens”. The location of Southwinds is great, being near Fort Macon and out of the main crowd area. The beach is large and good for playing and walking. The condo building I was not a far walk to the beach, and directly across from one of the 2 pools. The condo was decorated very nicely and had everything that was needed. The soft blankets in the living room were great! The beds were comfy, sheets were soft. One negative was that with the heavy rain, the front entrance to the building flooded, and it took some time for the prop manager to resolve with the pumps. So walking through standing water was needed. Another negative was that the windows leaked with the heavy, driving sideways rain of the storm, and there was nothing in the condo to use except our bath towels and beach towels to line the window sills to soak up the water. There was a W/D in our condo so drying wet towels was possible. I did enjoy the week we spent there, but would recommend new non leaking windows as this is definitely a hardship for renters to deal with.

Lovely Beach Getaway

This bright, clean and stylish condo was spacious and comfortable and filled thoughtful touches that truly created a relaxing, peaceful getaway. It was quiet throughout our stay. The location to parking and the beach was convenient. I was grateful for the the hospitable nature of the owner!

Short stay at the beach

Clean. Somehow I misunderstood and thought it had 3 bedrooms. No internet. Nice pool. Ocean view of 20 degrees an eight of a mile away. Quiet. Friendly guard at gate. Other guests super friendly.

Great Stay!

We stayed in the condo for 5 days. We had a great time and it was hard to leave! Monica was very responsive with any messages and the condo was so clean and comfy. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again! So close to the beach and the condo and property were clean!

Relaxing

This area is my favorite at Atlantic Beach. We have been coming to the area for years. Monica was the best with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again the condo was updated and decorated perfectly. Melanie Charlotte, NC

Neutral Bliss

Not one thing about the description of this home is wrong! The pictures are on point with what is posted here in the description. The neutral color pallet was very pleasing as you entered the front door. Love that there were coffee filters to use as I forgot ours. Yall, Monica even had 2-ply in each bathroom!! No one ever does that!! :-) Monica was extremely responsive to any question we had! At the last minute we were able to add a day to our reservation which we were so very happy we did! This home is lovely and we can't wait to stay again!! So...if you want a comfortable and quiet place to stay just a few minutes walk from the beach...Then stay here!! You won't be disappointed!! Wonderful and peaceful stay

We loved our stay. Condo was clean, and decorated beautifully. It had all the necessities to cook, games etc. Short walking distance to the beach. First time booking with VRBO and Monica made it so easy and was very responsive.

Amazing Property and Great Location!

We had the best time at this Southwinds condo for the long holiday weekend. It is just a short walk to beach access! We spent most days either at the beach, pool or hanging out on the porch. It was our baby’s first beach trip and it’s the perfect location if you have a little one who may need an afternoon nap but the rest of the family wants to hangout on the beach. Monica was VERY responsive and helpful when we had WiFi connection issues. She was incredible to work with. We’re very thankful for the memories made on our trip!

Cute spot

Stayed with a girlfriend for a long weekend. This spot is super cute and very clean. Walk is not bad to the beach and you have two pools to use as well. We liked the fact there were two bathrooms and didn’t mind the one shower. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Monica!

Just Perfect

This location was everything promised and Monica went above and beyond to make this experience so pleasant. I can't say enough about how responsive she was to any questions that we had. This condo is an easy 3 minute walk to the beach on the private access ramp. It was the perfect location. You really don't need to bring anything. You'll find the house very comfortable, extremely clean and the beds were really comfortable. There are plenty of places to have a meal in the immediate area but only a brief drive to Morehead City and Emerald Isle. A foray into Beaufort provides lots of unique shopping but don't worry because Morehead has traditional shopping (Target etc.). Just remember that the condo has 1 1/2 baths which was fine for our group of three. We just needed to do a little planning with regard to showering. You can't miss with this one. I use VRBO a lot and this is absolutely one of the best experiences I have had. Thanks to Monica for sharing this jewel on Atlantic Beach.

Wonderful condo and owner!

This place is just adorable, was super clean and had more than everything we needed (towels, sheets, etc.). Communication with Monica/owner was fast and easy, she was very responsive and flexible. We've rented other Southwinds condos in the past but this one is the best so far. We loved it. Highly recommend, we will be back!!
