Family Beach Get-a-Way Just 4 Houses from the Ocean!

This is a great family house done in the traditional upside down style used to take advantage of beach views. The north deck has an octagonal picnic table to seat the whole family as well as a high top table w/chairs and stools to better see the ocean and assist the cook! It is a great place to check out the morning waves while sipping that first cup of coffee, or for enjoying a home grilled dinner (watch out for those seagulls though, they are fast!) The east deck is covered and a nice place to escape the midday sun or a rain shower. It's breezy and cozy all at once!. Both decks are great places to watch the world go past by air, land or sea.
The dining room has a huge historic table that seats all guests at once. There is also bar seating for 3 and a beverage fridge to free up space in the main refrigerator for food stuffs. The living room has a unique built in bar area complete w/keg fridge and Margaritaville Blender. It's great for adults but our kids love the bar area as a place to snack and play games. The top floor also has a full bathroom and utility closet. There is plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen for all your goodies and we supply two drip coffee makers so there is no waiting in the morning for that crucial next cup!

There is a newly renovated master bath. The other downstairs bathroom is separated into two rooms, one w/two distinct sink areas and the other comprising the toilet and tub/ shower. This configuration is especially useful during rush hour! To me the best shower is found outside, where all the sand and salt can be washed off under the sun or stars...depending on how late you are. There is a downstairs deck as well, where beach toys and chairs can be found, and where you can rest while waiting for the outdoor shower. The side yard has a good, old fashioned clothes line for sandy towels and wet suits. Almost all of the beds are new foam mattress beds, making for a great night's sleep! The driveway has parking for four, or use the street and let the kids use the drive way for games and biking.
The house is perfect for two families or for multi generational get togethers. The beach is 4 houses away and a block behind us, off of Second Ave, is a great kid's park.
