Family Fun at the Shore! Walk to Beach, Bay, Town!

Stone Harbor is a great family vacation spot on the beautiful Jersey shore. Located a quick drive from Atlantic City, historic Cape May, and wild Wildwood. The town has one quaint main-street and is family and kid friendly. Walk to beach, main street, bay. This property is one side of a duplex. It is located two blocks to the beach, a half block to the bay, and seven blocks to main street, which is 96th Street. Everything in within walking distance.

The house is located on 103rd Street between 2nd & 3rd Avenues and features central air as well as ceiling fans in each bedroom. There is a deck off the second floor living room, a private deck off the second floor master bedroom in rear, and a lower deck off the first floor second master bedroom. The second floor Master bedroom and bathroom, kitchen, and 1/2 bath were newly remodeled and updated July 2021.
Bedroom 4 (Master) and Bedroom 3 feature new queen mattresses and all beds have new plush Envirosleep hypoallergenic pillows.

The master bedroom (Bedroom 4) has one queen bed, Bedroom 3 has one queen bed. Bedroom 2 features two sets of bunk beds (4 twin mattresses) and Bedroom 1 features a new twin-over-full bunk bed.

There is a beautiful, spacious rooftop sundeck accessed by spiral staircase for fun in the sun and hour hour sunsets.

Weekly cleaning service is included in full-week (7-night)rental price. Renters provide their own bedding (linens,sheets,towels) and disposables. Full size washing machine and dryer provided.

The beaches are groomed every morning and designated for surfing or swimming and all beaches are guarded.

The town offers miniature golf, bike rentals, a movie theater, video arcade, and dozens of typical beach shops and ice cream parlors. The boardwalks of Wildwood are a short ten minutes away to the south, and Atlantic City is 45 minutes to the north.
Cape May County Zoo, which is free, is an amazing award-winning zoo and is located a few miles away. The Wetlands Institute is a real treasure and provides unique walking paths and hands-on demonstrations with local terrapins and other wildlife. Girls’ Beach Getaway

The upper story/ living space was very nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here. It was within an easy walking distance to the beach and to town. Tom was a responsive host and when he was contacted about a few minor issues, he noted that they would be addressed promptly.

Great Rental

One of the best locations in Stone Harbor for a young family. Walking distance to the beach, play ground, a small grocery store, and the best Italian and Cheese Steak hoagies on the island. The house if very clean and comfortable.

Nice week at the shore.

Nice beach rental overall We had a great week. Upon checkin, when we couldn’t find the keys, the owner was immediately responsive by text and all was seamless thereafter. We would certainly stay again, but to be fully transparent, Like any beach rental with heavy volume it shows signs of wear and tear. (Scuff walls, torn and some broken outdoor chairs, etc). Minor but noticed. The upper floor was clearly renovated a few years back so that was quite nice, with a lovely master, kitchen and common room there. But the ground floor could use a similar makeover to those bedrooms and bathroom which are now a bit dated. Nice location, and overall stone harbor is a nice family beach town.

Overall great stay

The place was simple but clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the decks! The only issue was that a realtor walked into the place while we were staying there and said they had a tour scheduled that day. This was especially concerning because of the current pandemic. We messaged the owner and he had no knowledge of this showing, however it was still a concerning event.

Great house, hot week -- central air was a lifesaver!

We had a great stay at the house, some really good memories were created here. Wonderful location, very close to the main drag. Plenty of sleeping room, and the living room was larger than it looked in the photos. Only drawback is the kitchen, which is cozy but manageable. This house will be even more wonderful once the roof deck is complete!

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay in Stone Harbor. This property was ideally located: an easy walk into town and a short walk to the beach. The place was well kept, clean and exactly how it looked in the pics. We were pleasantly surprised by the high tech AC and the water pressure (both excellent!). We had 3 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of space. Owner was extremely responsive to questions and very nice. Would definitely stay again.

What a find! Great town!

Came into Stone Harbor for a wedding. Never heard of the place before, now I'm booking my summer vaca there. This house was perfect for our family. It's very clean, close to everything, was stocked with everything we could want. We're excited to start our new family tradition at the Jersey shore!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this home. We found the property to be very clean and updated throughout. It had a very comfortable feel. We we able to walk our family (with young children) to the beach every day and Main Street every evening for ice cream and other beach treats. We have already booked for next season and hope to return many more. Thank you!

WOW!! What a fabulous place you have. It was so clean and roomy, I can't wait to come back. Stone Harbor is everything you said it was.... my kids had a terrific time. It was safe, quaint and sunny. We are NOT from the Philly area, but rather from a far-away place called Cleveland. Philly people think we're out of our minds for driving 8 hours to SH. Perhaps we are, but everything is relative. Everyone from Cleveland endures double-digit hours of travel time driving to Outer Banks or Florida because New Jersey beaches don't even register in their minds. HAH! Joke's on them.

My family started renting houses in Stone Harbor in 1975 and some members continue to this day. My wife and were able to buy this townhouse in 2005 and we enjoy it several times throughout the year with our family.

We've been fortunate enough to enjoy dozens of beach vacations up and down the eastern and western coast of the the U.S. as well as Costa Rica, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Australia, Virgin Islands and Bahama's. It's only through our travels that we can place Stone Harbor in the proper context. Through a combination of strict zoning and pro-active planning, the Borough of Stone Harbor has created a low-density, family-oriented beach town that is conducive to walking and biking with all aspects of the town within easy reach. We appreciate the lack of mid-rise and high-rise buildings, the concentrated business district of 96th Street, and the emphasis on uncluttered beach access. Stone Harbor has a unique charm and character that is all it's own, and from everything we've seen, it is second to none. We hope you can come and enjoy for yourself.
