☀️ Parking for 5 vehicles in the driveway. (No parking allowed in street or yard)
☀️ Private pool is typically open from April through October and is not heated.
☀️ Community pool is typically open between May and September. Tennis courts open year-round.
☀️ Fireplace is not available for guest use

Justin, our host, was incredibly accommodating and made the check-in and check-out process seamless for us. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. In the mornings, we took a pleasant walk to the coffee shop, and a short 3-minute stroll led us to the beach. It was a delightful and relaxing getaway that we would highly recommend.

Excellent stay at Justin’s place! Our group included 4 adults and 5 kids and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house was super clean. The kids were entertained the whole time between the beach (super easy walk and all beach gear provided), the pool, and arcade games and activities all throughout the house. Gorgeous views from multiple level decks. Very convenient to the grocery store next door and strip of shops. Justin was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend. Thanks for the great stay memories!

Great stay!

The property was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. Excellent location- about a 4-5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute drive to the super market and food spots. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is absolutely fabulous. Lots of fun things to do inside/outside of the house, and the location was fantastic. The beach is a short, five minute walk, and there’s a buggy provided by the host that makes the walk with supplies/equipment even easier. Toys for the kids and beach chairs are provided with the house. We had five adult children and four grandchildren of all ages, and they all loved the house. It’s also super close to the grocery store. We all had a great time and couldn’t have asked for a better house!

We had an amazing stay in the Outer Banks! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and communicative—any questions we had were answered quickly, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.The house itself was perfect spacious, and very well maintained. The pool and jacuzzi were definitely highlights of our stay, giving us the perfect place to relax after a day out. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and you can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel comfortable.We truly enjoyed every moment here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great OBX getaway!

We stayed at Family Tides for the Memorial Day Weekend and everything was perfect! The house was super clean and exactly as described in VRBO. Everything was working. Awesome clean pool and hot tub. Toys and board games for the little ones. The beach is just 5 min away (walking distance) and in the house you can find all you need for spending some quality time on the ocean side: beach chairs, beach tent, beach toys and a very useful beach cart to help carry all you need. Justin was extremely kind and very quick in answering any question we had. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing house and a great host! The house was just as described! It was immaculately clean, in a great location, and had everything we needed for a great family vacation! What an amazing home! It was perfect for our large family. 5 beautiful bedrooms with their own bathrooms, plus a room for our grandson to sleep undisturbed. We were grateful for the baby gate upstairs and another bathroom on the top floor. We loved all the game options (board games, foosball, a giant sized connect four), the hot tub was perfect each night, everything was very cozy. We were also so close to shopping, the pier and restaurants. There were also wild deer roaming in the neighborhood!Justin was very responsive each time I had questions. If we are ever in town, we hope this house is available.Highly recommend! Thank you Justin!!

Great beach getaway

The photos and description of the property were accurate and we were pleased with the house. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 kids to spend time together or have quiet time. The wagons made it a quick and easy walk across the street to the beach and there was plenty of beach gear for our group.

Family summer vacation

Absolutely loved our stay at this vacation home. Location is great - short walk to the beach. They have beach chairs, sand toys and a wagon for use. House was clean. More than enough space for our group of 13. Most importantly check in and check out process went smoothly and our host was quick to reply with any questions we had. Would definitely come back.

Great location and beautiful home

Pros: lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, location was very close to beach but in a nice quiet subdivision with lots of privacy, beach chairs were a nice perk so we didn't have to bring ours, check-in and checkout were great, kitchen equipment was nice quality, the hot tub was great, WiFi password was posted in obvious locations, the foosball table was nice quality Cons: Pool was a little dirty, but the kids still swam even though it was 30 degrees outside, the BBQ grill was a small Weber charcoal grill, which is a little more of a project than just using propane. Overall: a great stay, and would recommend highly!

I can't say enough good things about our stay. The house is stunning, and the community is just as inviting. A perfect distance to the beach. I appreciate how quiet and safe the neighborhood felt. It made our getaway feel even more relaxing. We truly had a fantastic time, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next time! A happy 4th in Hatteras

Family Tides is exactly as advertised in the listing. It’s an excellent choice for a beach house vacation rental. We packed our family in the car to celebrate the 4th of July at the beach. There were so many highlights from the trip, but I’ll note a few that stood out for me. The detailed pictures of each room or living space were accurate and helpful for planning. The checkin process was smooth and communicated well in advance, which we greatly appreciated after a 7 hour drive. The host was respectful, incredibly responsive and proactive in sharing tips for food or access to community amenities. I highly recommend this listing for anyone looking for a clean and convenient place to stay in the Outer Banks.

Booked this property for vacation with my kids and grandkids. The house was clean and spacious enough for 5 adults and 5 children ranging in age from 6 months to 10 years old. The house is conveniently located with the beach being a 5 minute walk and the Food Lion and a few other shops right next to the community. The community is clean and quiet and everyone was so friendly! I had 2 minor issues during my stay, and Justin responded quickly and had them resolved immediately. I highly recommend this property and will absolutely book again.
