“Worcester Lodge” is a quaint and comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath with game room/lounge area house nestled underneath the pines on Park Hill, just steps away from the Fiscalini Preserve. Centrally located in Cambria, Worcester Lodge is a 2-minute walk to the Fiscalini Trails, a 10 minute walk to the ocean, a 15 minute walk to Shamel Park and 15 minute walk to the Cambria’s West Village. Worcester Lodge is also less than 5-minute drive to Moonstone Beach. Worcester Lodge is a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy all that Cambria and the Central Coast have to offer.

The neighborhood was amazing! Wild turkeys walking all through the streets and front yards and the deer doing the same. when looking north at the mountains you feel you're at a mountain village then turn around and your at the ocean coast. Fantastic, we had a great time.

House was immaculately clean although we had to wait 40 minutes to check in. Kitchen was very well appointed except for scratched Teflon pans. Upstairs king suite is lovely but downstairs bedroom has comfy queen and useless sofabed/couch, leaving no place for clothes except a few cubbies in the closet. Towels were plentiful but poor quality.

Staying in this property made me want to retire in Cambria. It is such a great neighborhood with both a forest and beach feel. I loved how it had a really big couch for the whole family!

Wonderful Stay in a Charming, Updated Home

We had an amazing stay at this home! It was impeccably clean and had clearly been recently updated while still maintaining its original charm. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and dishes, making it easy to cook meals, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The updated garage was a great bonus—it featured a dartboard, shuffleboard, bar, and TV, making it a fun space to hang out. Plus, the home is located in a lovely, charming neighborhood. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

Beautiful area. Definitely hilly but can get to a flat area easily. Went to San simeon and Morro Bay. Plenty of dog beaches.

Clean, fairly well appointed. Quiet location. Sheets on both beds are worn; fitted bottom sheets do not stay around mattress.

On the first floor, bedroom, bathroom and garage makeover with couch and bar. The living room had a large couch and TV. Upstairs was a larger bedroom suite with bathroom and open lofted area. Plenty is space four people. Kitchen is completely updated. Great front area to relax, have drinks or dinner outside. Lots of wildlife to view from patio alone. Highly recommend.

Quiet Getaway

Clean, compact property a short walk to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, and situated close to beautiful Moonstone Beach. Deer and wild turkeys roam the neighborhood. The king size bed upstairs was very comfortable. Nice and quiet location to rest up and recharge.

The dusty covers were still on the outdoor furniture so first impressions were not the best. But the house was very clean with stylish furniture and well-equipped kitchen. The main bedroom is upstairs which could be a problem for some. The walk to the reserve and the ocean was amazing and close if you don’t mind steep hills.

Lovely Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean and well maintained. The house layout is good with a bedroom downstairs, and the steps were wide for a comfortable climb. The rooms were very spacious, and the area was very quiet and restful, close enough for a short drive downtown and/or the beach. The 2 TVs were about 65” making it very comfortable for the family to view in the living room with that large lounge sofa and the main bedroom upstairs. There is an oscillating fan upstairs and many windows throughout the house for cross ventilation. The stove is electric (taking some getting used to), and the BBQ had not been cleaned in a while. The bathroom downstairs would benefit from handicap railing mimicking the bathroom upstairs. The 1 car garage has been converted to a playroom. The driveway is a challenge with its steepness and lack of lighting, but there is a flight light readily available for the walk down the driveway. Since there is no parking on the street, it would be nice to have a parking spot at the bottom of the driveway as an additional parking option. Overall, great place to stay! Enjoyed our time there.

Very nice house

This property is lovely and clean. Not planning to have to work on the trip but my husband got slammed with unplanned work. Thankfully there is a very nice desk area in the upper loft with good chair. The only other tables in the house are a snack counter and a coffee table. Having to work at either would have ended up hurting his back. That was much appreciated. The house is in a nice, quiet area but is still a quick drive to town for any amenities and/or meals. The kitchen has appropriate pots, pans, dishes and silverware. But no colander (my husband’s pet peeve) There were items like oil and salt/pepper that were most likely left behind by other people. Toilet paper supply good but no tissue at all. Small low quality emergency toiletries are provided. No dishwasher so all dishes dirtied have to be washed by hand including any dishes you use the last morning. You may want to eat breakfast out on departure day. The house is in good repair. The Heat/AC worked well. Decent furniture. Living room skylight is peeling. Fridge is nice, big. Cooktop is old induction but working. Washer/dryer are very old water/elec wasting machines. In a gorgeous area with extreme water shortages it’s upsetting that landlords don’t have new HE machines that help the planet. Sheets don’t stay on bed. Elastic is shot. They need items that turn a decent stay into a lovely one. New appliances, sheets, paper goods needed. Decent toiletries a plus. Otherwise a nice place.
