Located off the main road, the home is in a private location with great views of Heavenly Valley slopes. However it is less than five minutes to either Boulder or Stagecoach ski lodges. There is a kid's ski school at Boulder Lodge. There are children's plastic sleds and room to use them on the property depending on snowfall.

The Casinos, movie theaters, elegant dining, shopping, grocery stores and golf are all within 5 to 10 minutes away. A small market, restaurant, and the world famous Charthouse are just 3 minutes away. Lots of off street parking and a single car garage. Boat launching, several of Tahoe's best public beaches, horseback riding stables, summer music concerts, and world famous Edgewood golf course are just minutes away. Hiking in the U.S forest is just around the corner.
