Two brand NEW homes directly adjacent each other and directly on the Sea of Abaco. Both can be rented together as one.
STARFISH BAY is a 3 Bedroom 2 Bath and MERMAID COVE is a 1 Bedroom open plan villa.
Multiple large outdoor decks and covered patios with stairs that lead directly into the Sea of Abaco.
Kayak, paddle board and snorkel without leaving the property (Equipment included).
Two docks are included, each up to 50 foot boat.

A unique and central location offers access by car and boat to our private peninsula surrounded by water.
The perfect getaway for families looking for island living.

The Property

• "Starfish Bay" and "Mermaid cove" are part of our larger property called LUSEA which consists of a private residence, marina, power and water plant and both rental homes.
• Two private and protected guest Docks for up to 55 foot boat with 100 Amp power and water (Please ask owner for dockage electric and water details)
• Separate seating area on the Lagoon side of the property where marina is located with Chairs and tables and fish cleaning station
• Two completely different water views and experiences. From the outdoor decks looking North is Sea of Abaco and from the Marina docks facing south Is the Sugarloaf Canal and Lagoon (This allows use of water activities on either side of the property and great of winds are prohibitive one side or the other for water toys)
• High speed WIFI throughout the property including all decks and docks
• The entire property including "Starfish Bay" and "Mermaid Cove" is off the grid. A large SOLAR power plant guarantees constant 24/7 power! Two diesel generators serve only as backup. All this forms part of our properties very own "green" power plant
• Being off the grid we also have our own water plant. We collect our own water called "Rainwater harvesting". In addition, we have Reverse Osmosis water as backup. Quadruple filtration system and UV treatment ensure water is drinkable from every faucet. No need to buy drinking water!

• 1600 Square foot outdoor upper deck with infinity ocean views. Furnished with 4 Lounge Chaises, 4 Adirondack chairs and Outdoor dining table for six. A fun cornhole set is also located on the upper deck

• Large lower deck with stairs that lead directly into the Sea of Abaco and an outdoor shower
• Outdoor Kitchen with Weber Gas grill, outdoor sink and preparation area
• Water Toys include 2 Kayaks,2 Paddle boards, water mat and snorkel equipment for six , toys available on both the North and South side of the property allowing allot more flexibility for weather and wind as one side is almost always protected .
• Wide deck and stairs make launching the water toys easy and convenient
• High Speed WIFI on all decks and outdoor areas

• Weber gas grill
• Water toys include 2 paddle boards, water mat and snorkel equipment for two
• Wide deck and stairs make launching the water toys easy and convenient
• High Speed WIFI on all decks and outdoor areas
• The outdoor space has two distinct areas for outdoor living , the 2nd floor 360 sq ft area with covered patio and the 450 sq foot lower deck with grill, water toys and ocean access
• Enjoy the water activities without leaving the property

Guests have complete and private access to "Mermaid Cove" and "Starfish Bay" with private parking, entrances, patios, decks and stairs leading into the Sea of Abaco.

Guests also have access to the private marina and docks on the south side of the property. A pathway leads from “Mermaid Cove” and "Starfish Bay" to the dockage on the canal between Sugarloaf Cay and Eastern Shores.
Comfortable Adirondack chairs and tables are set up on the deck together with a fish cleaning station and private dock for up to a 65-foot boat.
Enjoy a completely different water view and vantage point with amazing sunsets.
Always available whether you bring your own boat, rent a boat, or just want another beautiful area to enjoy.

Guests are also always welcome to use the water toys including Kayaks, Paddle Boards and Water Mats on the south side of the property where the docks are located. This is a huge advantage as it provides a completely different area to explore by water in addition provides protected waters when the winds are blowing from the north.


* A rental car is recommended for movement around Marsh Harbour. Our property is at the end of a peninsula and easily accessible by car plus there is allot do do and see by car.
(Once booked we will send you our digital guidebook packed with information and things to do by land and sea)
* Taxi Cabs are available and always waiting at the airport for your convenience.
* The Ferry Dock with regular ferry service to surrounding islands and cays is less than a mile away located as you enter Eastern Shores. This makes it very easy to island hop around Abaco if you don’t have a boat.
* If you plan to rent a boat we recommend renting early as the rentals are very busy especially during season.
* For those that are bringing your own boat, please ensure you provide details on requesting your booking.

The entire Island of Abaco is still rebuilding after hurricane Dorian in September 2019, but the natural beauty of the island, ocean and beaches remain.

“Mermaid Cove” is a completely private and separate Villa and "Starfish Bay" is a three bedroom home situated on on our larger property that incudes a private residence. "Mermaid Cove" and “Starfish Bay” are located adjacent each other, both directly on the Sea of Abaco.
Both “Mermaid Cove” and “Starfish Bay” are also available to rent separately. (Subject to availability)

Our property also includes a private residence with multiple buildings including a guest house, water plant, power plant and private marina.

Abaco Wedding

Rented both homes to accommodate our family for our wedding. Plenty of privacy at Mermaid and room to stretch out next door at Starfish. Kids enjoyed fishing and all the water sports kept them very busy. Host has this property set up perfectly and communication was never an issue. Can't wait to come back!

We love the water and Bahamas. We have travelled Bahamas for over 25 years and visited every island .
Originally we cruised Bahamas for first 20 years on various different boats we owned. We typically would cruise all the Bahamian islands for 3-4 months every year while living onboard our 80 foot boat. When we sold out boat we purchased the property and named it LUSEA , same name as all our boats.
We knew eventually we would purchase a property in Bahamas and Abaco was the perfect location blending beautiful Bahamian waters and beaches with excellent boating and conveniences.
We live between our out homes in Fort Lauderdale and Abacos.
We are very active on the island especially with Animal welfare and taking care of both dogs and cats on the island. After Hurricane Dorian we donated over one hundred thousand pounds of pet food for dogs and cats so the animals would not starve .We also actively support the local dog shelter and donated a mobile animal clinic to the shelter. We continue to work closely with the animals of Abaco and people supporting this cause.

When we found this property we immediately knew how special it was.
The natural beauty of this property is hard to beat anywhere in the world.
Eastern Shores is a private peninsula on great Abaco island that is surrounded by water. This sea to sea location offers the Sea of Abaco direct oceanfront on the North side and protected waters on the South Side where a lagoon forms between Sugarloaf Cay and eastern shores.
This allowed us to build our dream property having a Marina on the South side of the property with protected dockage in all weather conditions and oceanfront on the North side.
Views from north where Starfish Bay and Mermaid Cove are located are spectacular. Montage Cay (formerly Matt Lowes Cay) is less than a mile away forming a protected bay and clam waters in most conditions . Man O War Cay can be seem just 2 miles away .
Another amazing feature of the property is that water will always be protected on one side of the property, so that if it is windy on one side, typically the other side is calm and will allow for water sports in almost all weather conditions.
The property also has amazing natural vegetation and is elevated to allow excellent views and natural protection from the elements.
