The Yellowfin Inn is a relaxing, newly updated home that welcomes family, friends and pets. Enjoy mornings or evenings on the back porch with great views of the large yard and the sound. Tucked away Down East, you'll enjoy your private vacation or getaway. Perfect for duck hunting or fishing groups, the Cape Lookout National Seashore is minutes away. Plenty of parking to bring your boat or kayak to explore all the area has to offer. Near Harkers Island and the Downtown Beaufort waterfront is a short 15 minute drive from the property with many excellent shops and restaurants.

Spacious & clean home stocked with anything you could possibly need, comfy beds, beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, family & pet friendly. Host is very nice & quick to respond. No issues and hope to return.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful home with water views. Great outdoor seating space. Appreciated the amenities provided for our convenience. Quick drive to the Cape Lookout ferry.

Ladies Retreat

We Had a delightful time. The home was wonderful, and my friends even commented how very nice it was when they walked in!. The home was Welcoming and well stocked. The owner communication was excellent! Thank you for a great stay!

Great location

Really loved sitting on the porch watching the sun rise! Great communcation with the owner. Beautiful house! We definitely want to come back! Took the Ferry to cape lookout and we loved that also! Highly recommende.q

Short getaway

Overall stay was great, Jason was a great host. If you like quiet and secluded, this is your place. Not far from Beaufort or Morehead city.

Lovely house with beautiful view

Overall, a good stay. The view from the upstairs bedrooms was lovely, the beds were comfy. The kitchen was very clean and they had plenty of cookware for us to use. There was enough space for everyone to sit down and eat, including an outdoor table on the deck with a very calming, enjoyable view. The house is a short drive to Harkers Island (to take the ferry) and Beaufort which is where we planned to spend most of our time. There’s a pier 6mins away where we enjoyed the most amazing sunset. They have a binder where they recommend local restaurants. We tried crossroads pizza and it was great, and very close by. If I had to say anything negative, and this is very personal, we arrived on a rainy night and the living room lights were on so it was scary getting there bc I thought someone was living there or I was trying to get into the wrong house. Other than that, the house was very clean, except the bathrooms needed some work and the outdoor chairs had a lot of pet hair, as well as one of the throw blankets on the downstairs bedroom. The white couch upstairs could really use a good cleaning, but it’s just details that could easily be taken care of. We would definitely stay there again. We really enjoyed it.

Beautiful home

It was a beautiful house with a great yard for the kids to play. Very spacious dining and hangout area inside with plenty of comfortable beds. Sound is almost in casting distance with tons of local spots to fish. Absolutely the best host we have ever had in a vacation home!!! We cannot wait for our next trip thanks so much jason for all your hospitality until next time!

Best VRBO stay ever!

The property was beautiful, clean, peaceful and the views were breathtaking. The owner communicated well and was so accommodating. We came with a large group for a bachelorette trip and we had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hang out. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed.We will definitely be back to stay again on a family trip and we are hoping to book later this summer. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a special getaway!

We had such a wonderful few days at the Inn. The pictures were exactly as portrayed on the website. The view from the house was amazing along with the sunset. I couldn't say any more nicer things about Jason. He was hospitable, the house was spotless, and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I can't sleep without a white noise machine and I was pleasantly surprised to see one in the master bedroom downstairs! We will definitely come back again.

Paxtons' Wedding

Jason was an awesome host. The property was absolutely perfect. Check in was easy and the house was lovely. Very relaxing. The sound is beautiful. Loved Brown Island. Would love to visit firsthand. Had a great time with family. Local restaurants were great. My great niece got married at the beautiful Beaufort Hotel.

Fishing Tournament/Family Vacation

We came for a fishing tournament as well as a family vacation. We were quite pleased when we arrived and saw the house. The pictures online are spot on. The Yellowfin Inn was perfect in all ways for us, location was great, house was nicely decorated and clean, well-stocked, and comfy (especially the beds). The area is very quiet and the view is spectacular, the night skies are beautiful too. Beaches are nearby and there are lots of things to do. Stores are close by in case you need anything. Our 2 dogs came along, and they loved hanging out on the back porch and running around the big back yard as well as our daily walks down near the water. Jason is an amazing host! Communication was awesome and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of and all our needs were met. He gave us recommendations for restaurants, places to go, and things to see. He even shared a shrimp boil with us. We will certainly be back soon since we loved everything about this place! I highly recommend staying here.
