Access to the pools and tennis courts requires an added onsite fee of $100/week for up to eight people (rates are subject to change). The outdoor pools are unheated and open from Memorial Day to Labor Day (closed on Mondays).

Parking notes: There is free parking for 4 vehicles. There is parking for up to four cars in the driveway.

The location of the property is amazing. Easy walking distance to restaurant and marina. The house itself was not clean and in need of some work. There is a rug in the middle of the kitchen that is terribly stained. It is covering a sheet of plywood, assuming that is covering a hole in the middle of the floor that is not repaired. Most of the dishes out of the cabinet were DIRTY!! Every pot and pan had dried food on it. There were plates that had sticky jelly like substance on it. The toaster is broken. The beds were not comfortable. The door knob on the entry door is about to fall off. We tightened it three separate times. The sink handle in the downstairs bathroom is broken, so you couldn’t wash your hands. There were ant beds everywhere and ants all on the patio by the picnic table. If you are bringing your dog, there are sticker burrs throughout the entire yard that will get caught in your dog's fur. Talked with manager on Saturday to voice concerns. Was told someone would call on Monday and never heard from anyone. The house has potential with a great location, but is in desperate need of major work! Would not choose this house again.

The advertise it sleeps 12 and it didn't. One of the rooms in the garage, it was musky and had mold building above the ceiling light. Most guest left early. The location to the beach was good.

Awesome place to stay on the water

Very clean and roomy house. Well stocked. Great covered hot tub and awesome deck with plenty of seating. Close to the neighborhood bar and restaurant. Perfect for relaxing.

Pure relaxation

House was very nice and just as shown in pictures. Ended up in down stairs bedroom and would highly recommend a new mattress. Other then that very nice.

Great hot tub, deck & views - house needs some improvements

Family and I enjoyed the amazing deck with lots of chairs and multiple firepits - thanks to the owner for the extra propane tanks as it was chilly this weekend. The views off the deck were amazing and we appreciated the fenced in yard for our dog. Huge hot tub was wonderful but TIP to future renters: crank it up at check in because it takes hours to heat up and start enjoying on your first night - which we weren't able to do. Some cons: uncomfortable, noisy, low-quality beds / mattresses. Gate at the top of the outdoor stairs was not working at check-in and we had to get maintenance to come out to fix during stay. They also had to come out and figure out why the microwave above the cooktop wasn't working. Couldn't use the light, vent, or large microwave oven during stay. Cooked every meal during our 4 day stay and the house needed larger pots & pans, more than one small baking sheet, utensils, big mixing bowls, etc. for a house that sleeps 14 people. It was frustrating to not have a large measuring cup, zero big bowls, no tea pot or any pitchers. There was plenty of large open areas in cabinets so hopefully they will improve this for the convenience of future guests who need a well-appointed kitchen for big cooking families like ours. The owner did bring a couple of initial items we requested but then mentioned the dollar store down the street b/c requests like ours were "not typical." Owner was responsive via text - house just needs some improvements to be great.

2023 Visit

The house is beautiful and has everything we needed for our stay. The boat slip is a plus. The house also had a washer & dryer which was a bonus because it wasn't listed in the ammenities. The house is spacious. The owner was very helpful and provided responses quickly.

Weekend Stay

House is lovely and the dock is perfect for boat and jet ski. Great outdoor area in front of large canal on Sea Isle. Look forward to staying again.

Great home on large canal

One of our best vrbos in Galveston so far. Newly renovated home with hot tub downstaris and one of the largest decks we've seen. Located on a large canal which was nice. We used the downstairs grill which was nice. Well stocked. AC worked great on a very hot August weekend. Would be amazing if the house could add a kayak or paddleboard for the canal as we rented those! That's my only suggestion! Would stay again.

No washer and dryer

I didn’t think to verify on the listing that there was a washer and dryer. We had a use a service to get our towels washed. The location was great and we enjoyed the hot tub and liked that we could bring our boat. The downstairs room and bathroom were not as nice as the rest of the house.
