Family Vacation

Overall we had a great stay at this location. The property was as advertised and the development was very family friendly. Advice: rent bikes early for the entirity of your stay - loads of fun and trails;

The house definitely seemed like someone lived there on the regular. It was hard to find things that you felt like you could use in a normal typical rental. There was hair all over some of the bedding not sure if it was pet hair or what it was. The walls had some paint chipping off of them. The unit could definitely use a thorough deep clean and some refreshers. The outdoor space did not have enough comfortable seating. The design of the house was very cool however it would be a challenging place to host a family getaway again. For the cost of the rental, I did not find the value to be there

August Trip

Nice House! Crazy front and back doors, not sure of their name or type but would not recommend them! Other places we have rented in the same neighborhood and in summer you could use the Hot Tub outside without paying for it to be heated (as the water is warm enough in August) still use the jets, but not here. The kitchen is very nice but small for the size of the house and only has one oven. The house has a very nice sound barrier inside as it is hard to hear others if they are downstairs and you are upstairs and vice versa which is a great thing. Overall a nice house!

The pictures do not do this property justice

This is a unique place property with an outstanding and private outdoor area. The back door leads to a very big and private backyard with an infinity pool and dock on the wide part of the canal with a great view of the Heron Point golf course. There is also a really nice covered porch for the occasional rain showers. The inside is truly unique with room after room beautifully decorated in a Japanese motif. To some degree you feel like you are in a museum. The master bedroom is huge with a walk in closet and a really nice bathroom. There is also a big deck overlooking the pool and canal. The 3 additional bedrooms gave us plenty of room for two families of four. The pool table was put to good use with nightly tournaments. Other rooms included a formal dining room, living room, sitting room and a study. The property is a 15 to she beach walking and 5 minutes biking. The beach access is to an area with a lot of large homes so the beach remains sparsely populated. The support we received from the property management team was very impressive. Selena couldn’t have been a more gracious host. Kudos to them for the type of customer support that is so often missing these days. Overall our stay was a 10 out of 10. Here and there the house could use a little TLC (specifically the outdoor furniture) but unless you are ultra picky this house is a hidden gem. Book it! You won’t regret it. Almost forgot to mention the waterfall in the entranceway!

Annual vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, beautiful lagoon view, great outdoor space and infinitely pool. We had plenty of space and kitchen stocked with many appliances and utensils. Loved the hidden bathroom of the kitchen. The home is a little outdated but overall we were comfortable. All bedrooms could accommodate larger beds or at least two king beds. Bathrooms would benefit updating also. We did have a problem with palmetto bugs mostly outside but a handful inside also. Would have enjoyed the outside deck area a little more if those were taken care of. We did call and ask for extermination on Sunday but they didn’t show up until Friday the day before we were leaving.

Excellent Time - Want to Buy The Place!

2021/2022 New Year Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family of 4 (parent and two teenagers) wanted to spend a good relaxing quality time together in a beautiful place. This house was excellent. It was clean with multiple windows and phenomenal views. Multiple near by activities such as biking and hiking. The beach access was a challenge but not far away. The only negative about this house, is the spa and swimming pool during winter time. Don't ever plan to use it. They claim that they will heat it and make you pay for it, but in fact, even when the weather was in 70s, the water temperature remained low in the 60s. We couldn't use it and after complaining we were refunded only $250 instead of the total amount of $375. Nice place to stay at, but I will think twice before I come back to use this property. Adding to that, we have arrived at 2 am on Thursday instead of 1 pm on Tuesday due to flight cancelations. The owners refused to refund or compensate and followed the strict no refund policy. I understand that, but they lost me as a costumer.

Rented it last year and loved it and the location. Not well lit in kitchen and no plug outlets in master bath. Great place though.

Good trip

Overall it was a good trip. Best thing was the deck. it was really nice and spacious. worst thing was picking up and dropping off keys. this can be easily fixed.

not impressed with house or management company

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: None of the doors/locks in the house work properly.management did not give us front door key at first or explain where trash cans are located. Furniture not comfortable. Too many stairs. Not open. Outside is beautiful. Blender had parts missing.

Amazing pool and property

Fishing and swimming were great. Kitchen drawers and utensils were very dirty we had to wash all before using. We found two dead and three live cockroaches. House keeping came a day early and expected us to be out. We cleared that up fast but still jolted our morning. There is plenty of room in this home. Even when it’s raining you can relax outside with plenty of cover.

Amazing vacation house!

Our family had the an amazing vacation! The pool and lagoon view were like paradise! The waterfall on the pool didn’t operate until mid week but we were glad to enjoy it for a couple days. The house wasn’t ready until 8:00 pm upon arrival which was unfortunate but we were able to enjoy the pool. I’m so glad we decided to vacation here, it was an incredible week and we’d like to come back.

But the house was an imposition. The kitchen is dirty, the gas grill is disgusting, the dishwasher doesn't work, much is in bad condition. No reasonable blankets for the beds. The outside situation is good.

Dirty and in bad condition

The photos are deceptive. The kitchen is extremely dirty, everything is baking. The grill was an imposition. Dishwasher didn't work. Price-performance disproportionate. I am totally disappointed!

The Asian house

The negitives: The house is old and is in need of some cosmetic repairs.The pictures do not dipict the insane level of Asian decor and design.. The beds were very uncomfortable. The advertised lagoon is a golf course pond. The house is very choppy and would not be conducive for gatherings. This house is “NOT” kid friendly. The house is overall dificult to use.

Cool House, great location, great pool

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in great shape, the pool was the highlight of our stay. The location of the home is perfect. We didn't realize that the home is part of a large plantation with 2 golf courses, a local market, bike rental, a restaurant and the beach was only a 0.5 mile bike ride away. The home itself is a bit odd in layout and the doors are really hard to figure out how to lock. We also were not informed that beach towels are not included in the rental so we had to go buy beach towels. Also, the home next door is under serious reconstruction and there was loud drilling and construction noise mon-fri from 9am-5pm every day. It was a bit of a bummer.
