Nestled in Little Exuma, The Bahama Island House has floor to ceiling views of the turquoise sea and unbeatable Caribbean sunsets. A quick kayak to Moriah Harbour and within miles to the best restaurants. Take a dip in the pool before heading to the dock to enjoy the amazing view!

Communication was the easiest with Jack, quick replies and so much helpful information about island, excursions etc. This was our second home we stayed at with Jack and as always the experience is always the best! Place was clean, offered everything that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

We enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the privacy, it was quiet. House was beautiful. Lots of space. Kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed having the pool to dip in while we enjoyed the deck and view. We took the kayaks out. Went to the Lazy River, it was work but enjoyed the journey.

We had a great stay, house is very well equipped with everything you might need…all the way from the kitchen to the pool area, everything you might need, they have it.Many kayaks available on the house, even though is a challenge, highly recommend kayaking to the lazy river, is just beautiful.We rented a boat from Minns, don’t miss on this, is awesome out there

Our stay at the Bahama Island house was outstanding. It was a perfect set up and location for several families and young children. Jack was an exceptional host with great communication and recommendations on where to shop, what to do on the island and provided all the local contacts which was very helpful! The house and pool were fully stocked with everything you could possibly imagine! The use of the pool and kayaks to the lazy river was awesome. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay and vacation to the Exumas! We would highly recommend and stay here again!

The house has everything you could ever need in the kitchen. No need to take beach chairs, floats masks, towels, snorkels or anything. Jack has it all covered, as well as providing excellent recommendations. Check in was super easy and he checked on us often. Loved that we had Netflix, Amazon and plenty of tv options at night too. I can’t say enough about this rental or the Exumas. We will definitely be back!!!

Everything was wonderful during our stay in Exuma. Communication was smooth, making the process so easy. If we had any questions or concerns, we had an almost immediate response from Jack. The kayaks provided were wonderful, our group of 9 used them almost daily. The house is completely stocked with all things, including beach items such as chairs, coolers, and goggles. I would highly recommend you give this place a look. Our party of 9 was very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need! I intend to be back very soon. Thanks Jack!!!

Thanksgiving beach vacation

The house was perfect, tons of space for our family vacation(4 adults & 5 kids). Property manager and owner were very welcoming and responsive. Views from the back deck were amazing. Everyone loved kayaking off the beach at the house.

Great First Time Exuma Stay

Loved staying at Bahama Island House! Had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. Loved having the kayaks and pool floats, as well as a very fully stocked kitchen. One of the most responsive and helpful hosts I have interacted with which helped us prepare for our trip and make the most of it. Definitely need a car since it's a bit of a drive to get to any stores or restaurants.

This property checks all the boxes! Starting with the booking process and initial communication, it’s like no other. Arrival was welcoming, smooth and informative. The house is warm and comfortable with plenty of seating and yummy blankets to snuggle with. The kitchen was absolutely dreamy with everything you need if you are an executive chef or a microwave type of food preparer! The beds are so comfy and the linens were plush and plentiful. The outside is just as exquisite, with a pool that was clean and equipped with a number of floats. My favorite was the private beach and dock with tons of kayaks! We saw sea turtles during one of our adventures. If you are looking for wonderful place to stay, look no further! So grateful for an outstanding host that checked in every day to make sure we didn’t need anything!

Amazing House and Location

Just returned from a week long stay at the Island House. The property is as advertised and Jack is an absolute pro as a host. He gave us all the insights on the island and made our trip so much better. Will be back!!!!

Wonderful location!

BIH is a beautiful location to stay in Exuma. Very close (a few mins drive) to amazing beaches and 20 minutes to town. Kayak to Moriah Harbour and Lazy River. House was well equipped for beach days away from house, snorkeling and cooking at home. Very responsive owner/staff communication. Gave 3 stars for listing accuracy as pictures and description said sandy beach adjacent to pool and there was not a sandy beach. House is located on the water and you can get in the water but there is no sandy beach for kiddos to play in. I hope the listing is updated to reflect this change as it impacted our 9 night stay with young children and limited mobility grandparents.

Perfect stay for our girls trip!

We loved our stay at the Bahama Island House. The host was in touch with us for weeks leading up to our trip helping answer questions about the island, transportation and getting us in touch with local contacts. The check in process was smooth and the house was super clean. Plenty of towels and linens and a well stocked kitchen. The house is exactly as shown in the listing but the view is even more beautiful! The pool was well maintained and we were even able to take the kayaks out to a national park. 10/10 home and would recommend for any group!

We had a wonderful time at Bahama Island house. The house is so well appointed that there is nothing extra that you will need. The views are stunning. The pool is the perfect size and there is ample outdoor space to enjoy. The house is perfectly located so you can visit beautiful beaches on little Exuma but also get to Georgetown easily. The house manager and the owner were in contact and extremely helpful both prior to the stay and during. We had one small issue when the winds came up that the generator did not automatically turn on. We contacted Jack at around 4:30 in the morning and by five he had responded and let us know how to reset it. Even though the reset worked on the first try, he still had someone come out to check it to make sure it would be working properly. It's that type of attention to detail that you will see throughout this home during your stay. I came with my husband and my 77 year-old parents and we all agreed that this house over delivered. We would stay here again in a minute and can't wait for our next visit.

Wonderful

Absolutely incredible views! The house was beautiful and very clean. The property manager Luke met us when we arrived which was very refreshing! He showed us the property and told us the places for groceries, dining out, boat rentals etc.. This property came with new kayaks and paddle boards too! Love love this property and will definitely be back!

Awesome Views

Highly recommend staying here. We had a great time staying at this property. The floor to ceiling windows that show the beautiful views as you walk in is breathtaking. Everything you need is provided if we had any questions Jack and team were always readily available to assist. If you’re looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway this is the place for you.
