Note that our Building F, where our unit is located, has no elevator. So our ground-floor unit outshines the second-floor units, where we’ve seen guests struggle to get suitcases, strollers and mobility-challenged elders up the stairs.
Maui Banyan is a short walk from the Kihei boat ramp, multi-million-dollar mansions in Wailea and a beachfront walking path that extends several miles in each direction.
There is a $10/night per person extra charge for more than 6 guests; three-generation families tell us the condo worked very well for them.

Great Location
We had a great time. The unit is in a perfect location, and the owner was easy to work wi and had great communication, The Unit was dated but clean.

Amazing Location!
Our family and friends had an amazing time. The place may be a little dated but it did not matter to us. The location is prime, the grounds were beautiful and very peaceful. Communication with the owner was great. It was the perfect place for us and we would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, everything that is needed is there although beach chairs and umbrella has seen better days and instead of the 6 beach towels there was only 4.We stayed over Christmas and would have thought there might be a small Christmas tree in a closet but there wasn’t.Could use some updates, I wouldn’t have been surprised to see Mrs. Roper walk out of the room.In general we would definitely stay again but only for the location.

Aloha! We have an aggressive pest control schedule, and we supplement it whenever we're told of a problem, which may crop up due to passing weather conditions. I'm glad to know that your stay otherwise met your expectations.

Ocean view and walking distance to everything
Loved the location and proximity to the beach and shopping areas. The BBQ and lawn area in the front was great to sit to eat and drink with friends and family.
Master bedroom bed cover had a major stain that was a little off putting. The extra bedroom bath had some mold that should be scrubbed and cleaned. The internet and TV were not working for us, so we called the management company and they came out to fix it. We didn't spend much time at the property so it wasn't a big deal.
Overall the property worked for my family. The linens could use an update or at least in the case of the master bed a thorough cleaning.
The rooms were clean and had beach gear that was available for use if needed. All the appliances worked so we were pleased with the property. Parking was very close and made moving luggage or groceries very convenient.
I would stay here again.

Thanks very much for your detailed review! We've ordered new bedding for the master bedroom (It will take a while to reach Maui, of course) and asked our cleaning service to pay more attention to the bathroom tiles. I'm glad our place worked out for your family and we certainly welcome you to return.

Good location, but dated
Overall, we had a good stay…. Upon arrival, the unit was not clean. After putting in a request, the property manager sent a team to clean/change linens the next day.
The unit is dated. There is rust and other signs of wear on items such as the shower door/slider doors.
The kitchen had minimal items- also dated appliances.
I assume there is a mouse in the kitchen, as fruit left on the counter to ripen had pieces chewed a couple mornings in a row.
The master room stays warmer than the rest of the unit. When sleeping, it’s best to keep the slider doors open and AC on.
The location was very nice (quick walk to the beach), but the outdoor patio doesn’t look out to the garden, but the driveway into the property, (the garden is out the front doors).
Overall, we had a nice time…, but will look to stay somewhere else next trip.

Bugs, Scorpions, overflowing toilet and more!
The day we arrived there were already ants in our bathroom and other common areas. Amongst other critters like beetles and moths. Which to be fair can happen in a tropical climate. The same day we also learned if you don’t push the toilet handle back up it overflows and can flood. All of this was communicated to the owner and we were told to contact the condo emergency line. So we did. The communication was horrible we never knew If someone came or If we were serviced. To make matters worst the next day we found a scorpion and we called the emergency line to no avail. They told us they would come. The person who sprayed literally did a squirt in ONEarea of the condo. Marcia was not helpful she blamed us for majority of it and the condo management lacked communication. Great location, sure! But, horrible otherwise. Roach traps everywhere.

As is clear from the fact that the guests right before and after you posted 5-star reviews, your negative experience was unfortunate but atypical. We do our best to keep the condo pest-free and in tiptop repair, yet things do go wrong.
The malfunctioning toilet was repaired the next morning after you called in the middle of the night to report it. And since many kinds of crawling critters are endemic in Hawaii's tropical climate, no one can keep pests from occasionally coming indoors. After the maintenance guy fixed the toilet (when everyone was out), he mentioned to us that there had been food left out open in every room of the condo. That is why I mentioned to you that we recommend never leaving food out when you leave the condo - it attracts pests.
I hope you managed to enjoy your trip to Maui despite these two issues.

This condo is close to the beach. Great location. The inside is dated. The fridge was very loud and the sliding doors were jamming. No credit was offered.

Perfect for our needs
The condo was dated, but clean and the grounds had a lot of amenities on site. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and BBQ grills. It was centrally located in Kihei with a lot of shopping and restaurants an beaches near by. I wish the sliding glass doors to the master bedroom provided more privacy, but overall, we would stay here again.

Great location
Close proximity to beaches, great location in Kihei with short walks to restaurants and shops. Quick and friendly service with maintenance issue! Wish there were cameras in parking garage as our rental was damaged by someone with no recourse. Otherwise loved that there was a washer and dryer in the unit, and plenty of beach accessories!

Perfect location!
Excellent communication with the owner. The grounds are beautiful, the on-site staff are all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of room for my husband and I and our 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

Affordable and Great Location
We enjoyed our stay. 1) Loved the extra boogie boards 2)Loved the huge bathtub 3) Loved the washer and dryer! A big plus!👍👍👍 4) Loved the king size bed! So comfortable! If you get here and it is very hot 🥵, don’t worry it gets more comfortable. Turn on the AC. The location of the unit is another huge plus. Right next to the parking lot. We were able to park near the unit. Great location! We loved swimming and snorkeling at Ulua 🏖 Beach! Beautiful sunset steps away from the condo.

Ok for last minute
The property did not look very clean and there were ants everywhere including in the bed. It really needs a refresh of furniture and there were no sharp knives. This property was a disappointment compared to Aston Maui Hill where I stayed at in February of this year. It is located along the driveway so everyone can look in the bedrooms and while you're dining on the lanai.
