Incredibly private 3BR/3BA + loft located in Canaan Valley, WV

This incredibly private 3BR/3BA + loft located in Old Timberline is just minutes from Timberline Mountain and Canaan Valley Ski Resort. Located on over 4 acres at the end of the community it abuts thousands of acres of Fish and Wildlife land. Great gathering place with an open floor plan and new 6+ person new hot tub. Centrally located to skiing, hiking, fishing, hunting and everything Canaan Valley offer. New mattresses, upgraded linens and high speed wifi. Super peaceful and quiet!

Charlotte's Web offers 3 BR and 3 full baths plus a loft area. The master bedroom also has a futon and plenty of room for a pack and play. The loft area is a great place for the kids to hang out and includes a futon, games and full bath. The bedding in the house is 1K in MBR, 1Q, 1 F and 2 futons. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to cook including new cookware, new air fryer and cooking utensils. This house is incredibly remote at the end of a dead end street at the back of the community. Bring the kids, bikes and dog - there is little to no traffic and you will likely not even see a car. The skies at night are AMAZING! We recommend turning off all lights in the house and just star gaze from the new hot tub. You will see so may shooting stars! This is a special place to just escape to. It is our little of corner of the world and truly is almost heaven. Some of the closest access for hunting you will find but book early as hunt season fills up pretty quick. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Great cabin for a relaxing getaway! So quiet & peaceful. Listing was just as described-very private. Host is very responsive & provided any information we requested. This was an all around great experience!

We have stayed in Timberline many times but this was one of our favorite spots by far. Very quiet and private with beautiful surroundings and access to amazing trails. The house is just as pictured with a well stocked kitchen comfortable bed and living area. Check-in and out were a breeze. Highly recommend.

Great Stay

Great location if you are looking for peace and quiet! Cool house, has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Hot tub was awesome at night under the stars! Very secluded, host was easy to get ahold of and very helpful.

Very well-kept property. Excellent location inside the community. Great furniture and very thoughtful interior decoration. Neat and clean. Claudine was a great help throughout the process.

Nice, quiet, and secluded property

We had a very nice stay. Easy communication and check in and the property is tucked away on the edge of a private development. Very pretty fall foliage right on the edge of the Dolly Sods. The house is quite neat as well with one large open space, with a massive beam in the center. Only comment I have that could be improved is some of the rooms could have been cleaner. The walls in the bathroom, could use cleaning or repainting. Overall, very nice stay.

Some Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Charlotte’s Web. We loved the location, so private and quiet! We immediately felt welcome and at home. There were even items to make our dogs feel welcome! The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to cook. Toaster, toaster oven, air fryer, excellent cookware and utensils. The beverage station!! Just so many social touches that were so thoughtful! It turned out to be a cool weekend so we enjoyed the hot tub! Would highly recommend this cabin.

Peaceful retreat in canaan valley

We had a very comfortable stay at Charlottes Web. The place is in a quiet location with lots of hiking trails nearby. A big plus was the aircondition as most rentals in Old Timberline do not have one, but with warmer weather it is a very welcome feature. The house is very spacious and we love the design of the house. Not a deal breaker but we wished the shower was a little larger given that the master bathroom was very spacious. But we definitely will return to this place on our next trip to Canaan Valley.

Beautiful Privacy

Charlotte's Web is tucked in the back of a gated community and when they say private they mean it. We enjoyed a few nights in the hot tub under the most stars we have ever seen. Wildlife is plentiful, we typically saw at least 30 deer on our way in or out of the community. The fall colors were in their peak and even the two days that rained provided a beauty of their own. The cabin was well stocked and easy to cook in with a full grocery store about 25 minutes away. Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, and Seneca Rocks all provided nice trails within 45 minutes. Most importantly Claudine, the owner, was very helpful and responsive and the people were some of the nicest we have met. We can't wait to go back.

Well..

The area is gorgeous. Id be cautious of the days you go. Mondays and tuesdays everything is closed, and there isnt much to begin with in Davis. Some breakfast places close by 11am, the 2 that are in town. We had to cook everynight we were there except Wednesday as cannan valley bbq was open that night. There is 1 putt putt course in the area. We got some fishing in within the communtity, and a hike the next day. If your going to ski or hike you will enjoy the area. Otherwise pick a different area of West Virgina with more amenities especially if traveling with children. The people who own the property are very hospitable and tentative. Highly recommend staying here if the area is what your looking for.

Great Place for a Family Get Together

I stayed here with my wife, three adult children and two family friends. The home was very comfortable and was laid out well to spend time together. The hostess was a good communicator and everything went smoothly the entire stay. I'd give extremely high marks for the comfort level of the beds. I really enjoyed the king bed in the Master bedroom and our family said the two queen beds in the other bedrooms were also comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook for a crowd. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view at night (all the stars) were breath taking. We really enjoyed the area and overall had a great vacation here. The only thing I didn't care for was having to drive the trash to a maintenance facility up by the entrance to the housing complex. I don't think there is anything the owner can do about it as that is how this community was setup and they likely don't have any other option.
