Enjoy a relaxing retreat in this updated, ideally located cabin in Old Timberline. 5 minutes to Timberline Mountain & half a mile to Dolly Sods, this sunny 3-bedroom home is the perfect destination for families, couples, or small groups seeking outdoor fun in any season. Recently remodeled, this home is modern on the inside and tastefully appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway, including two king beds and special touches for kids and dogs!

From the front porch, watch the sun rise over Dolly Sods and day break over Canaan Valley. In the evening, the sunset glows through the trees below, before dark skies beckon you to stargaze. Relax on the porch swing and watch for deer and wild turkeys, or enjoy yoga on the private back deck - a mat is available for your use. Once the leaves have fallen for the season, enjoy the view of Timberline Mountain ski slopes from the front windows. The serene community, bordered by the Dolly Sods Wilderness and Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge, contains two large lakes for fishing and boating (bring your own kayak or canoe!) and several trails through meadows and woodlands with abundant wildlife.

The three bedrooms are spacious and offer different sleeping configurations to fit your group. Kids can have a slumber party in the big bedroom featuring a queen bed, two twins, and trundle. A second large bedroom upstairs features a king bed, and a twin bed, TV, and views of sunsets in the valley. Adults will appreciate blackout curtains in every bedroom, a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, wifi, cable/Roku, and a first-floor primary bedroom with king bed, desk and an en suite bath with walk-in shower. For canine family members, a foldable kennel and food/water bowls are available.

This home has been outfitted with families in mind, and boasts plenty of kid-friendly features including toys, pack n' play, booster seat, high chair, games, and many more extra touches to make your stay easy.

Special Notes:

Please use window locks upstairs and basement door latch if kids are present.

Central A/C to first floor; upstairs bedroom use portable window units that are in place from May 1 to Labor Day.

The fireplace is for decoration only and uses an electric insert. Unfinished basement has washer/dryer, toys and other helpful items for kids, and plenty of room to stash skis, snowboards, bikes and other outdoor equipment.

Your dogs are welcome with a pet fee. In the entryway you'll find towels for wet/dirty paws, food/water bowls, and poop bags. A foldable dog kennel is in the first floor bedroom closet. Please clean up after your dog - indoors and outside. Please keep dogs off furniture - excessive pet hair may result in extra cleaning charge.

Linens are provided. Starter supplies only of toilet paper and dish/laundry detergent are provided.
