Everything you will need for a vacation in the mountains is just inside the door of this lovely townhome. Tastefully decorated this property offers three comfortable bedrooms plus a loft with a sleep sofa. After some time on the slopes you and the gang will want to warm up by the fireplace before preparing a meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. Relax in the private hot tub or enjoy the quiet location with a book or movie. Free WIFI is provided for every rental. Spring, summer and fall guests will enjoy the onsite tennis court and pond. Located in Woods End, Moose Lodge is just on the edge of the National Wildlife Refuge. Hikers and cross country skiers will love the location! Easy year round access adds to the appeal. This property also offers a wheelchair ramp and handicap shower. Well behaved dogs are welcome. No more than 2 at a time please.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three adults and a toddler stayed for five nights to ski Timberline and see the area. House had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the giant couch to lounge on and the hot tub after a long tiring day. The smart TV was nice to stream Netflix and Disney+. We enjoyed watching the deer pass through the backyard every day. Drive to Timberline is quick and accessible through the gate on the west side of the overflow parking area.House is a bit outdated and could use a good deep cleaning (lots of dust on the fans and fake flowers, dirt and debris under beds and dressers where the vacuum can't quite reach). Another towel bar and hand towel ring on the second floor would be super helpful for keeping towels dry and off the floor/counter. Also, why are there no curtains/blinds in the one bedroom? Very annoying to not have privacy for changing as well as no way to keep the room dark when the sun comes up.

A most magnificent moose (lodge)

Nothing worked! Finally the maintenance man Mike came and his keys did not work either! This was not a great start but finally got a side door open and the rest of our stay was exceptional! Very comfortable, lovely amenities and so very cozy!After 20 years of renting at Timberline, Moose Lodge is our absolute favorite home away from home!

A great and convenient vacation spot

We have stayed in this neighborhood at a house with similar layout and the Moose Lodge did not disappoint. We loved the large couch that had plenty of room for a six adults to lounge on comfortably. And of course, we loved the hot tub and easy access to all the fun available in the area. It was easier to walk to the Timberline slopes versus driving! The Blackwater Sled run is a must. The property managers are very easy to work with and responsive.

The rental would be much more pleasant if the huge amount of personal knickknacks and plastic plants were removed, as it is hard to find space to put ones own stuff on a bare surface. The personal pictures of someone's children give a message that one is invading someone else's home, rather than staying in a vacation rental place. Finding someone else's used bandaid in the jacuzzi was a little yucky, but the tub was great. Also, it would be nice to have a medium or large sized frying pan.

Terrific spot!

Great place for our family if 4 (could comfortably fit another kiddo.). 2 minute drive to ski, or lovely to just walk around or enjoy the fire. All the basics provided. Massive sectional is perfect for movie night!

A Peaceful Escape from Covid

We weren't quite sure what the area would be like, but we found a quiet off-season resort community. (we visited early November 2020) My adult daughter and son-in-law stayed with us. We had plenty of space, and especially enjoyed the deck and hottub. We had lots of room to cook and eat. We took nice walks from the cabin. There were plenty of nature activities to do in the area, too. The main thing I would have wanted at this place is a lifter for the hottub cover, as it was a bit hard to get on and off without one, and we had to sweep away a lot of leaves that had piled up on the deck between the house and the hottub, in the space where the cover seemed like it should go. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was easy to cook in. The area was nice. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
